My family has been looking for really great paella ever since Mingoy's at ATC closed down. We rarely try out new restaurants so none has compared yet to that distant memory, but maybe it's time to make new ones 128521

I invited my aunt to try Cerveseria on a rare weekday lunch (we were both on leave hahaha). The place was dark and we were the only customers inside. My aunt felt like we were in a library because of the decor 128514

Of course we ordered paella, and we picked the house special. Their version is "saucy" and not dry like most. There was a good selection of seafood and meat - the squid was even nicely cooked. The French beans made the texture much more interesting and I loved having the crunch.

I might come back for the paella, but more likely in the evening where I could pair it with drinks 127863

I love the everything about this place! Two of my fave things in one place-books & chandeliers! Plus cocktails and tapas! Haha I enjoyed everything here, from the tapas to my cocktails. Though my sangria was a bit too sweet & I like mine a bit tarter. The tokyo tea was great too but also too sweet. I'm so happy to find a place worth having dinner & drinks at the same time128512127863127864127865

Tapas and Sangria night for my friend's birthday! I think we got the Tapas Set Menu #2 and ordered a few more appetizers but I only got to taste the goat's cheese croquetas as I was too full when I got there. It was yummy! My friends said that the paella negra was good too. Their red sangria was a bit too strong for my liking but the watermelon one won me over! Would definitely come back for that 128540 classic mojito and lychee mojito were okay too. Love the bookshelves decoration and the chandeliers! We were seated at the far end since we were a group, where there were couches. I liked that we had privacy but then the speakers was in that area and the music was so loud it kinda ruined the whole dim lit vibe that they had going on 128533 The servers were very attentive. The only down side for smokers is, you have to go outside as it's a non smoking area.

Loved their salad, salpicao, gambas, chicken wings and chorizo! Didn't like their sangria and paella that much.

Their cocktails are okay. Maybe it tasted better since I'm with my best college buddies that time. We ordered nachos too but I didn't like it that much.

In all fairness to Cerveseria, I think I can see myself enjoying it for the right occasion and mindset.

If I'm looking to have a chill night drinking wine with friends, this is nice. Mala Barcino nearby in GB2.

But I wasn't feeling like wine and neither were my officemates, plus we didn't feel like splurging, so it didnt make sense. But let me try to make sense of this resto nonetheless.

Pluses:
1) buy one get one local beer for P100
2) bottomless wine (4 white, 4 red) @ P588 for three hours. Great for sloshing around.
3) supervisor or manager Mila, very nice and proactive. Good service for the resto as a whole.
4) Excellent excellent Paella Cerveseria. Seafood on just right cooked rice / paella. Short grain looking one like Risotto. Though its P700+
5) Ambiance works for tapas and wine place.
6) Chorizo (bottom left) and Tocino (bottom right, forgot the name but it reminds me of Poco Deli's bacon slab) are good too, but expensive.

Cons:
1) hot temperature (might be a consistent theme in Greenbelt)
2) expensive and we weren't game to do that that night.

Will I go back here? Not sure. There's ever reliable Barcino nearby, Draft about to open soon, Chilis (more on that soon) for beer and bottomless chips and now margaritas mearby too. So it's not likely. But I have to give it its fair attention.

I wasn't planning to eat much so ordered salad and tapas.

Just came from a 5-day cleanse so not eating meat. Ordered ensalada de queso pecorino and Setas shomejo fritos (lightly fried mini mushrooms) with garlic aioli!! It was great i could munch on them all day.

My partner ordered Pasta con chorizo y salsa de tomate. Huge serving!! It was also tasty.

All good for us.

Okay food. Nothing special. A little pricey for tapas though. The Cosmopolitan was the saving grace and the ambient interior. Try it only at your convenience.

A great fairly new Modern Spanish restaurant in Greenbelt. Love their Paella's and their selection of fine Spanish wine. Price is from 300 and up.

We had the wine buffet and it was totally worth it at PHP588. We also had Paella Cerveseria and the pizza coca de queso championes. So worth it!!! Also, had the cochonillio...yummy! Will have to come back again soon for more.

I visit Cerveseria at least twice a month. Sunday afternoons are my favorite. Their chorizos and salpicaos are the best and they're the only restaurant in the area that serve buy1take1 on local beers!
