Chairman Wang's is a nice mid range restaurant in Molito Complex Alabang that exudes elegance and opulence. Once you enter the door, you are greeted by a stone gate reminiscent of a the Great Wall of China facade with a soothing waterfall on the other side. Expect a short wait time if you are coming in on peak hours.

We are escorted to the second floor which has a great view of diners from the first floor and the wall decor and Chinese drop lanterns.

Food is quick to serve. We had the Olive Fried Rice, Scallion Dry Noodles, and Egg with Spinach and some other viands. The flavors are well balanced and if you are a heavy rice eater, expect to eat more.

I like their dessert too. Very refreshing. Service was quick.

Senior discounts honored.

Wagyu beef noodle soup, yum!!! Lunch out with the bros and we decided to head to chairman wang's since they haven't tried it out. 1 serving could actually be split into two so sulit na sya for php420.
Also ordered the honey soy chicken 128076🏼 black olive rice, dimsum and beef hofan 128077🏼
Service was much better than our last visit. Food was served piping hot and waiters were more attentive.

Haven't been to chairman wang's in a while and hubby decided to go there again the other night. Read/heard somewhere that it's actually a Taiwanese restaurant and we wanted to relive our Taipei food adventures 128522
Interiors have always been classy and striking (for me). Thoroughly studied the menu and now that we know that it's Taiwanese, we focused on these dishes instead of the mainstream 'chinese' fair. I think that's what we did the last time 128513
There was a dish with 'XO sauce' and I asked the server what it was. He didn't know 128563 he had to go to the kitchen or something and he didn't give me a comprehensible answer too. Less one star for that.
We finally decided on the chairman's special noodle soup with angus beef (in picture) and hubby got the Dan Dan mien (sounds like tantanmen) which is their spicy noodle soup. We also got an order of mushrooms with bean curd and hakaw.
Mushrooms arrived first. Well after about ten mins actually. It was good! I ate all the bean curd cos I don't eat mushrooms (gasp!) and it had that umami taste we were looking for.
My soup arrived next and it was ze bomb! Like I was transported back to hanlin! 10084️ the beef was so tender too! I'm a convert!
The dan Dan mien arrived next and it was also very delicious! Carefully hand pulled noodles in their spicy/sweet soup with a lot of pork bits.
Strangely enough, the hakaw arrived last. worth the wait though!
Soup servings are good to share IMO. Next time we'll just order 1 soup and 1 side.
Very satisfied with our experience! Service was just a bit lackluster considering we were the only ones there but the food made up for it 128077🏼
Total bill was around 1k.

Dropped by after curiously spotting form outside one of the cooks making fresh noodles. 128522 A decision I did not regret.

Of course we had their specialty, the beef noodle soup. Light and aromatic broth, with slices of delicious beef brisket, and the noodles done well and 'al dente'. Each slurp was very soothing to the stomach as it was to the soul. Their dumplings are noteworthy too. Try them fried and/or steamed!

And the tea concoctions are really interesting and tasty. Tried both a hot and a cold tea, and each duly fulfilled its purpose. The cold tea was especially refreshing! Glad to see good Chinese food slowly making its way to the south (even though Chinese food has got to be the least of my favorites haha 128540)

Funny how some people here on looloo compare Chinese noodle soup with Japanese ramen. Hey, they are from both different schools so please stop it. You won’t get a good Chinese noodle soup if you are expecting Japanese ramen.

I am constantly searching for a comforting bowl of Chinese Noodle soup in the places I frequent. Sadly I’m rarely in the Grennhills/San Juan area or the Binondo/Manila area and going to these places just to satisfy my cravings is impractical and expensive. I’ve been curious about this Chairman Wang’s ever since they were constructing walking distance beside my beloved Yushoken. One thing about me is that I am in love with soup and noodles, be it ramen, pho, laksa, Thai or an excellent batchoy, I love them all equally. The one I always crave for the most is Chinese noodles soup.

I was looking for and expecting a thin broth which we have grown accustomed to here and our travels to Hong Kong. I was pleasantly surprised with the rich almost tonkutsu-like broth. Rich and flavourful. If I’m not mistaken this is the style in Beijing where the rich soup helps warm the bodies in the cold temperature. The Lanzouh hand pulled noodles were perfect with its bounce and an al dente bite with its thickness just right in making sure each noodle has enough of that soup in every bite. The tendon was just perfectly gooey gelatinous which meant it took some time to reach that consistency, same with the beef slices. The beef really had a beefy flavor and was soft enough to shred like threads inside your mouth. I now suspect that in the past, I’ve had some beef in noodles soup that was not really cow’s beef (probably carabao). The beef had a perfect balance of seasonings in which the anise seed wasn’t overpowering but just right to complement the flavor of the beef.

Any chance of opening a branch in Makati?

Had lunch here last Friday. It was my first time at this part of Manila, Molito to be exact. Maraming restos around this place pero ito napili namin.

Anyway, we had the following:
Fried Rice Yangzhou Style 127775127775127775127775
Stir Fried Beef Hofan 127775127775127775127775
Braised Beef with Garlic Coriander 127775127775127775127775

The place is nice and quiet, probably because we were there before lunchtime. The staff were attentive. If I had the resources, I would come back. 128521

I always wanted to try out this place, I had high hopes for their Beef Noodles sounding premium and very special.. It fell short though and didn't taste anything special about it. The soup ain't even thick enough for my liking plus it didn't have the beef flavor. 128532 was it an off day for them?

Tried their Prime Beef Noodle Soup Wagyu - it's so good! Their braised bean curd with soy tofu is ok. Would definitely go back to try their other dishes.

Had lunch here with the in laws. First ring to try it and was very excited to try.
I'm a little sad because the specialty were the beef noodles and the wifey ordered family style. We ordered the following;
Salt and pepper ribs: good but nothing great
Chicken with mushroom gravy. Ok Lang
Lamb ravioli: I was late do it was cold when I arrived
Sweet and sour soup: wife said it was just sour.
Deep fried mushrooms string: seriously addicting!!!
Over all quite disappointed but I still want to go back and try the specials. I'll have a second review about this place

5 stars for this joint! In the picture is my main course, Mixed Seafood Noodle Soup. Very hefty serving of flavorful broth, noodles and actual seafood (fish, squid, shrimp). None of that fish ball stuff.

Other must tries:
Deep Fried Radish Cake
Steamed Pork & Chive Dumplings

The food's taste were indeed authentic Chinese but the noodles and dumplings were not my type though. I recommend trying their fried rice (i forgot the name but it has some olives and stuff), their pork and chives (sizzling hot and sizzling good) as well as their Lemon Ginger Iced Tea. There are more delicious dishes aside from noodles that are worth your appetite's satisfaction.

- beef is very tender and juicy
Shrimp Hakaw Php160
Pork siomai Php105
Fried Rice Yangzhou Style Php280 - I promised to skip rice but i broke my own rule
Crispy Chicken with Chairman's Pepper Gravy Php 360 - the gravy plus a little chili will make you eat more rice
Fruit Tea Sangria Php 150 - must try if you love a fruity taste

Late post.

Pretty good food and it wasnt expensive (just about 300/head if you order 1 dish each).

Had their buns and braised noodles - liked it. Sorta reminded me of those places in Binondo.

The place and ambiance was sleek and elegant. Felt like we were having fine dining. The food was also super filling. The Prime Beef Noodles was a must try. I found it plenty though, which is good. I got full right away with the noodles. The pork buns were okay, but nothing special. The hakao was better. It was soft and they did not scrimp on shrimp. I would definitely go back! 128076

Comfort food on a rainy evening! 128513128076

When we got out of S&R, it was raining. Rain = Soup. 127836 This is the perfect time to try Chairman Wang's! 128521

It was around 630pm when we got there. Luckily, there were still a lot of tables available. Yeyy! 128526

We ordered Chairman's Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Steamed Fish Fillet in Garlic Sauce, Pork and Chives Dumplings and Chinese Sausage Fried Rice.

The dumplings were good. We asked them to steam half of it and fry the remaining four. The wrapper was not too thick/chewy. We liked the fried ones better. 128077 Fish was soft and tasty! 128031 I enjoyed that there were lots of garlic 128525 and there's no lansa feel at all! 128540 The fried rice was also goooood! Lots of meat and veggies! 128069

The noodle soup was really reallly really yummy! 127836 The soup itself was flavorful and the braised beef was really tender!! The noodles were thick and cooked perfectly.128076 Best to eat it right away while its hot because it doesn't feel/taste "right" when its already cold. 128527

And oh, I really enjoyed their house tea! It was hot! Haha! Super perfect after lamon pampababa ng kinain drink! 128521128077

Service was excellent and fast! Kudos to Ate Jenny for being super nice and friendly 128513
