Posting another review about Batanes because I couldn't get over how beautiful their province is! I actually want to live there! But their internet connection makes me want to cry 128531128517

Another one of the many viewdecks of Batanes. From here, you can see the main island of Batan, spot the far flung islands of D'nem and Itbayat. If you walk further, you'll even get to spot an island belonging to the Babuyan Group of Islands.

The place where you can taste, for free, and buy tubho tea. An herbal tea and drank by Ivatans known to lower blood pressure, uric acid and the likes. 50php for a bunch of dried twigs; good for 2 years.

You can also buy locally weaved products here. From magnets to shirts to fans! If you plan on buying a fan, get the triangle one. 128521

I can tell that there has been an increase in the number of tourists going to Batanes. Last year, there were only 2 stalls, they have around 7-8 stores and they have a CR already!

Photo from May 2014 travel to Batanes.

No photo could ever capture every beauty that this land holds. It's one of those moments where you just had to be there to take it all in. I didn't mind basking in the hot sun while I was there. All the beauty of nature that surrounded me was more than enough reason for me to get tan. We did a DIY tour on Sabtang but I distinctly remember our tour guide (from our South Batan tour) saying that this was his favorite spot. No wonder as lush greenery filled the land coupled with the multiple blue hues of the vast ocean. Everything really was picturesque. My photo here can just give you a glimpse of it. If I had better lens that time, I could've captured more but then again, sometimes, you just want to step back, and savor moment in. 128524
