After we lounged around in SM Seaside, we walked across to Pedro Calungsod Church to attend the 6:00 PM. I rarely get to hear Eucharistic Celebration here just cause it's too far from where I am staying in Mactan. So I make it a point to come here on special occasions. And I was with my parents then, so that is definitely a special occasion for me.
A favorite by most couples getting married in Cebu, the Chapel of Pedro Calungsod is definitely as picturesque as it looks on photos. If I were to get married here in Cebu, this is definitely the church for me. All white and with a beautiful architectural structure, the church is now a household name for locals and tourists alike.
It is fully air-conditioned inside and can seat 1000 people! It truly is one of the nicest chapels I have ever been to! And Pedro Calungsod is from Cebu, so he is very close to the hearts of the locals. At the end of every mass, they sing this novena song dedicated to him in the local language. And though I did not understand all of it, it was so beautiful because the locals would raise their hands in praise, such a wonderful gesture of faith!

One of my favorite places in Cebu since it opened! I love hearing masa there plus it is near Sm seaside! But aside from that, I love the modern design of the chruch. Its not too loud and overbearing but it has that simple, elegant, sophisticated architecture that is rare these days. Even though mass hours are few and rare, it's always a treat to go there and just medidate and reflect. So next time you're in Cebu, go and check the Church out! It has also hosted weddings and I, for one, who love to be married there. #henryinstaxgiveaway

The chapel is located in the area if SM Seaside City which is rumored to be bigger than MOA. I love the stark and clean architecture of the place, very minimalist and neat. Even the font they use is linear.
It's a very quiet place so it's a great place to reflect and meditate.

This is one of the most beautiful chapel I've been, so far.. It's interiors is simple though.. but how it is being built is simply jaw dropping .. wow lang masasabi mo..you wouldn't even imagine that it's just considered as chapel.. ang lawak pa ng parking at sobrang ayos at linis ng mga comfort room.. This is one of the place you shouldn't miss to visit aswell when you go to cebu,. what I know is that it's just newly built right after Pedro Calungsod is canonized as saint..
