Chateau Hestia welcomed us with open arms even without a reservation, and we were very happy with the personalized service of the staff. The menu is very Euro-Italian, with an extensive wine selection. We ordered cannelloni al funghi, and it was served hot. Very yummy dish. Our pizza of choice is arugula prosciutto with egg, and it was okay. The crust is not as crunchy as I'd hoped, but the pizza was satisfying nonetheless. All in all, a great experience. We also enjoyed their little garden128516

Its weekend morning today in Tagaytay. @ past 8am , traffic is building up going to South. So after 1.5 hrs drive from Makati, it felt like there's a sudden shift in environment. Fresh air and this big garden welcome us in Chateau Hestia.

The place opens at 9 A.M.They only serve their breakfast menu, regular dishes are served at 11am onwards. At past 9 A.M. , we are the "buena mano" 128521 Appreciated my bf's effort for taking me there (happy new year to us ).My eyes are so busy looking around and impressed with the ambiance.

We wander around while waiting for our orders, that takes around 20 mins before serving. Al fresco dining sounds great but not with insects around. They also have bed and breakfast, perfect for staycation. The short hanging bridge that leads to a room is so aliw.

Me and my companion ordered our choice of meal and 1 additional meal to share.

He had, Sausage and eggs- 3 different kinds of sausages with 2 sunny side up eggs, & cup of rice. Curry sausage dipped in mustard is yummy 10084

While i had, Bacon and eggs - crispy bacon with salad, cup of rice and 2 sunny side up eggs. Two thumbs up for generous crispy bacon served 10084

Salmon omelette- served with salad, 4 small bite sizes of hash brown, and toast. Omellette is kinda bland, but putting grinded pepper & salt makes it tastier & better.

As I aways say no problem with me having breakfast meal anytime of the day, its my favorite! Its always good. Crispiness of the bacon is perfect. Meal has nice presentation, but nothing really spectacular.

Chateau Hestia also has deli place, they sell cold cuts, cheese, wines, beers and other stuff.

For now, what I love most is the ambiance. Breathe of fresh air and peacefulness. Hope to try their lunch menu soon. 128521

8-in Say Cheese pizza and Penne Salmone pasta in photo.

I didn't find the food that special though. Maybe we should've ordered something more sophisticated. 128514

Service is great. Waitstaff were attentive (you'll never run out of water haha)

Ambience is a little dark inside but yeah they have a "cute" garden, but I thought the place (even the garden) was a little small.

But overall, I'd prefer Marcia Adams or Sonya's Garden over Chateau Hestia, as far as garden restaurants in Tagaytay are concerned.

This place is absolutely beautiful! And the food was good too! A bit expensive but definitely worth it. I recommend going here before it gets dark. The roads are a bit sketchy and their garden is not that great when its dark.

Burp! 128055 pardon me! Just had dinner here with the fambam and we loved it!

Reserved thru mobile and got a quick confirmation and directions as well.

Place was about 1.5km from the main Tagaytay road. There were signs to guide us but was a bit difficult coz was night time when we went there to dine.

When we got there we were attended to immediately and was given complimentary focaccia which came with some eggplant spread. ( they refilled these for us 3 times! 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻 excellent! )

We tried the ff:

Italian Cheese platter single - good selection of Italian cheese. Am not a fan of tallegio but the Gorgonzola was nice.

Italian cold cuts single - excellent! See my photo!

Sausage platter - my fave! 3 kinds of German sausages served with fried potatoes & sauerkraut

*single size for me was already good enough to share! Okay.. Coz I wanted to try all 3 platters! 128055128561128522

Carbonara pasta and bolognese pasta - was not fresh pasta but was a hit with the kiddos.

Mushroom spinach cannelloni - huge portion and was nice too.

Osso bucco Milanese with risotto - risotto was overlooked but the osso bucco was good and tender. The whole dish was so tasty. Huge serving size too.

Chicken stuffed with pumpkin - we did not find the pumpkin anywhere. But it was nice anyway.

A love triangle dessert - came with Choco mousse, panda cotta, and mango cake. The best was the mousse.

Gelato - Ferrero .. My baby loved it!

Cappuccino - nutty taste

Iced tea - homemade blend and was refreshing

Buko juice - they had refillable but opted for single serving for my kid. Fresh!

Overall:

Service - excellent!

Food - very good

Ambiance - nice! Will visit during day time coz they had a lovely garden outside but was too dark for us to explore.

Definitely will dine again!

We had their dinner special and I must say, not only is the food delicious but with the serving size, taste, ambience, and service, you really get the value of your money, that if it the price is a hundred (or two) more, you wouldn't mind. If you haven't been here before, the road going here can be tricky, scary even, since it's not on the highway but it's definitely worth the ride, and one of Tagaytay's (hidden) gem.

Food is really excellent. Classic European fine dining. Vegetables are fresh since it comes from neighboring farms. They also have pizza making lessons. The place is very beautiful. Clean, relaxing and rustic. Their bed and breakfast accomodations are worth it. A very charming place

The food was good for lamb (in picture), mushroom soup, hestia salad and cannelloni. Service was great staff was very attentive and courteous. Ambiance was ok. With more guest I think the place would have a better feel but place is great for dates.

Nice ambience and good service. The waitstaff were courteous and attentive the day we dined here. We had the osso buco and chicken ala kiev. The osso buco was good, the chicken ala kiev was just okay. We will definitely come back because we had a really nice time when we were here.

So far yet so near :) Hestia has become one of my fave places for the piece and quiet, Austrian cuisine, beautiful rustic theme, European biers and sausage. Try their salad nicoise and they have added more to their menu. They have bed and breakfast too but if you're planning Tagaytay , this as first stop for brekki would be superb. You'd love it. Not pricey, not rowdy, very hard to find but worth to visit.

My husband and friends did a surprise party for my birthday here. I thought we were meeting up with my hubby's friends when lo and behold, my HS friends were there.

Anyway, since we were spending the night on a friend's house in Tagaytay, this was the secret place where they decided to plot the surprise. Going here was quite a struggle especially since the road isn't well lit and the signs are easy to miss.

We had dinner and opted to get individual orders. A friend and I shared a sausage platter and pesto pasta. The others got salad, pizza and my husband got their specialty, the Hestia burger. I have to be honest... The food didn't blow me away. I feel everything tasted bland. 128533 even the specialty burger was meh. I asked the hubby how it was, he said it was okay. I thought he was just being polite hehe 128513 A friend and her husband went for a set meal from appetizer to main, I think they were the only ones who were satisfied with their heart's content.

I gave extra star for the service though. They were superb. Not to mention the owner was there too who was able to engage with us on a small chitchat.

The place is a date place, very romantic and ideal if you are looking for something off the beaten track. However, for the price and the location, there are a million other places left to explore.

One of my favorite date places in Tagaytay. I like their Pasta di Mare and Say Cheese Pizza. They have a nice pocket garden where we had wine al fresco before having our dinner.

My awesome boyfriend took me here for dinner last night and we both had a great experience. Graaaabeeeeee I love this place!

We had pork schnitzel, crusted salmon, ferrero and limoncello gelato. We also ordered bottle of red wine.

Their schnitzel was really really good. M and I both think that Chateau Hestia's Pork Schnitzel is way better than the usual schnitzel we tried back in Austria. The sauce made it 10x better.128541

As for the Crusted Salmon, I love it!!! I finished the whole serving. Whoever discovered the recipe of the sauce, is a genius.

The star of the night was the wine and the ferrero gelato. Graaaabeeee best gelato ever! 5 stars127775127775127775127775127775

They served their bestseller 2005 red wine. They charged us for 2100 for the bottle and it was worth it.

We will definitely come back!!!!128522

Loved the food. I got to taste the Hestia Burger, the goulash, the breaded pork scallopini, their pizza and the home made turtle pie ice cream. quite satisfied with all of them.

Loved the place and service. The chateau is let friendly which is the reason I decided to visit as was bringing my American bully on his first Roadtrip.

Loved the service . they even served water in a bowl to my dog .

The pet friendly aspect was my prime motivator in giving them that 5 star.

Other than the consistency of the soup and the time it took to get to the restaurant I would give this a 5! Great setting, lush greens and open space... The food was delectable. Had a crusted dory with mango salsa and it tasted great! Service was a delight! A section on wines and deli available too! Pay them a visit!!

We actually went here by accident. Cause we were too early for brunch in Bawai. Haha! So we decided to go straight and saw this restaurant. We were curious. We wanted coffee. So our foodieselves explored the place. Low and behold.. The place is actually quite unique. Plus the Tagaytay weather suits the ambiance it brings.

We only ordered a hot chocolate and coffee mocha. I never knew I'd be able to indulge in sipping a hot chocolate that actually tastes like "cake" like liquid chocolate fudge cake. It's was so good. I wanna take it from my friend who originally ordered it. Haha! It's not the tablea kind. But really really good. Just perfect for that carefree morning Tagaytay weather.

The place is a bit pricey. Haven't tried their dishes. But maybe the next visit.
