Living in a country that's near the equator has its ups and downs. Downside when you have to go out at daytime during the summer and the upside, when you own refreshment stands/stores particularly the awesome ones like Chatime.
Some people foretold that the tea craze will dwindle away eventually just like any other craze but I think not. In fact, it's getting stronger especially if you open it in countries like ours where constant rehydration is a must.
One of the tea establishments that I loyally support is Chatime because of the wide selection whether it be shakes or fresh juices and because of the taste of each concoction they make. I'm not very fond of teas that are chocolate or milk-based because, calories. Heh. But I do love almost all of their fresh juices. One of which is the Honey Lemon Aloe tea.
I'm not sure what the tea base is but it definitely quenches my thirst. The perfect mixture of honey and lemon and the texture of aloe in a large, super cold cup absolutely satiates my dehydrated soul, errr, body. I could down the largest size in minutes. And what I like about it best is the fact that I'm drinking something that I like and I'm not getting guilty of the calories plus I'm also getting my daily intake of Vit.C.
Their branch in SLEX even have food so you can choose any of their offerings to go with your drink.

Weeeh! Chatime on the road! This branch i think just opened recently. Kasi last time i remember, walang shop between Pancake house and Starbucks.
Ang cute ng mini shop na to. Parang less than ten lang kasya sa loob.
