We always drive along San Rafael and couldn't help but notice this small pizza place literally on the side of the street, the place can be compared to a turo-turo style kainan but i was surprised to see the people preparing the food are dressed properly, with chef's uniform and apron. And the coolest thing here is, they prepare your food at the time of order. Pizza and pasta? Along the street of San Rafael? My initial reaction when i saw the price list was, "you've got to be kidding me, pasta for P90.00 and personal size pizza (7") for P75.00??? too curious on why this place is always jampacked, we tried it. They have different kinds of pizza like Chicago, Marinara, Hawaiian, Pepperoni and Mushroom, the simplest amongst them is the Margherita which has mouthwatering tomatoes & herbs, my personal favorite is the California thin crust pizza topped with anchovies, bacon, ham, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, bellpepper, olives and some herbs. Definitely authentic! And the price? P190.00 for a 12" family size perfect for 2-4 peeps. And they also have pasta, we ordered the Fruta de Mare for just P90.00 good for sharing. a must try pizza place! We went home with a full tummy for just P200.00 (water is charged P10 per person). If this write up made you curious as well, do visit them on San Rafael st corner of Sta Ana in Mandaluyong. From BONi Edsa all the jeepneys going to Kalentong or Stop&Shop passes by on this fantastic pizza place. They are closed on Mondays and open until 12:00am from Tuesdays to Sundays.

Not happy with the service now. The Manager on duty was right in front of me but did no bother to take my order as if i was there just to watch himor her. Maybe a simple gud eve or smile would be enough. 🙄

Dining area(sidewalk) is already messed up but no one is cleaning the area.

Food is still okey.

Another Hole in the Wall in Mandaluyong! A must try pizza parlor! 128077128076

We ordered Spaghetti Bolognese (Php 80) and family size New York Style pizza (Php 130). Spaghetti was so-so good!! FANTASTIC BABY! Haha! I enjoyed eating it with the bowl type crunchy chicharon crust? LOL. I don't know what it is called 128514 The pizza is so tasty and was served fresh from the oven. Though we waited for about 15-20 minutes but worth the wait! Oh, they also do delivery but I'm not sure how long will you wait. Haha!

Overall, will definitely return again! Wooohooo! ~

If it wasn't for my previous great visit here, I would of just given Chef Arnold 1 star 128530.

So I went here a couple of months ago after a badminton game. Another converted house type restaurant like kanto freestyle. Tables and chairs are on the sidewalk. It was packed, but they accommodated us. The wait for our food wasn't that long, I'd say 15 minutes max. Pizza had a slight crunchy, pesto-y taste. I was impressed since the pizza size was big and was only around 300 pesos.

Last week my sister and her boyfriend were here in the Philippines on holiday and was craving for 'good pizza'. Most places were closed at the time, and I didn't really want to bring them to a fast food pizza place. So I thought of Chef Arnold's. What a mistake.

Stuck in traffic - we were all starving by the time we got there. There was only four of us, but we ordered two of the biggest pizzas since we were all just so hungry. 1 margarita and 1 Chicago. The place wasn't as packed as the first time I visited, so I had high hopes on getting our orders quickly.

128532 that didn't happen

We waited around 40 minutes or more for just 1 of out pizzas (no exaggeration). The other pizza came 10 minutes after we had finished the first pizza. 128546. The crust of the pizza was soggy. I didn't get the same pesto-y taste. The margarita pizza looked like a vampires nightmare because it looked like a garlic bomb exploded on top of it. (Although weirdly, I couldn't taste the garlic). I was just disappointed in general. I hope they were just having a bad day or something, fingers crossed the quality of the food goes back to how it originally was.

P.s - you randomly get wafts of sewage smell when the wind passes by. Lol

Finally back after weeks of not updating my looloo!! :)

Was supposed to visit kanto freestyle last night with a group of friends, however, they were closed because of a christmas party. This led us to this hole in the wall place in Mandaluyong.

When i saw the place, it was ok. I thought the pizza was so-so. I'm very picky when it comes to pizza but they serve pretty damn good pizza! 128077 I was surprised on how it all turned out.

Ordered the chicago pizza. I was amazed how it looked like quesadillas.. Toppings were inside. Best paired with their homemade hotsauce! 128069

Ordered bolognese pasta too. It was ok, loved the crispy chips on top :)

Value for money? Really really good! Spent only 390 for all plus a bottle of soda.

Maybe they can improve on their service. Twas quite slow, but nonetheless, I was happy with my visit! 9786

This led me into thinking that It doesn't have to be expnsive to be good. Here's to exploring more hole in the wall places!

Good bang for the buck. Awesome spot on the street. You're lucky if there's a fishball or sorbetes vendor that passes by.

Went home late last night and saw this inside our fridge. Decided to heat a piece of each flavors, which i believe were the Marinara pizza and the Pepperoni and mushroom pizza.

The pepperoni pizza was okay. Not bad for its cheap price. The Marinara is also great although sometimes I find the taste annoying due to its seafood contents like mussels, squid, tuna and a lot more. But they're very generous with cheeze so it's a plus point for me!

Hindi daw ako choosy and maarte, kaya daw nainlab sya sakin.

He made me experience this place. If you're not picky and will not mind eating at the side of the street, then you might want to try this place out.

It may be difficult to find it siguro but once you get to that street, you will not miss it because its the only side street kaininan where cooks are wearing their tall hats!

Let's go to the food.

Their best seller is their Bolognese pasta.. I must say, presentation (pasta on a crust? who does that sa side steeet kainan?) and taste? Panalo to.. Plus, 80 pesos nga lang yata to eh. Ang generous pa sa cheese. Sulit na sulit..

They also have their personalized pizza.. Personalized siguro kasi yung size.. Pero dalawa kaming kumain. Php80 pesos lang..

As you can see on te photo, if I didn't tell you na sa side street to, you would think it's from a classy restaurant.

They use olive oil, del monte tomato sauce.. The kitchen is open, so makikita mo how they make it.. The taste, sobrang okay. It's italian na italian ang peg. Hindi mo akalain. Normally diba? Your expectations sa taste will depend sa price? Ewan ko, minsan ganun ako.

If you're not comf'table eating sa side street, you can always have it "to go".
