My favorite place for lunch!

Their set meals are perfect for you anyone who is looking for variations! They are serving whats your money worth!
If you crave for Filipino food to American dishes and is affordable, you should try Chefs & Brewer!

They have sardines, daing na bangus, smoked bangus, ensaladang talong to chicken and fish fingers and many more!
Set meals comes with iced tea and brewed coffee!
Their place is perfect for corporate people to simple ones! 128514128516

This is our third time having Lunch here on a Friday. One of the best friday lunch out! 128151 Chef & Brewer is our default choice if we can't think of a place to have a Lunch-out. We really appreciate their Rice meals (available from 9am to 6pm) which costs P150 to P200. It comes with dish with rice, egg, iced tea, and coffee! We are so happy with the menu (they have 25+ meal choices!) like chicken sisig, lechon kawali, burger steak, pork liempo, crispy liempo, buttered chicken, etc. so everytime we are here, we try a new meal and sometimes add ala carte food (approx P350+) like rockefeller and oyster sisig, and end up with a happy tummy. 128523128077🏼

Food is excellent, as well as the presentation, place is great, staff are friendly, room temperature is just right.

Also, I love their coffee! I'm not a fan of coffee, but wow. I am really surprised that I liked it! Oh yah, they have a promo currently, piso for a cup of coffee, amazing.9749

Just a piece of advice, I would not recommend having lunch here on a payday friday, unless you arrive before everyone else (we all know that if it's a payday, there would be a lot of people, and you need to have more patience). During our 2nd lunch here, which fell on a payday friday, the place was almost full (wow, knowing that they have a huge space) thus, the service was slow. Well, we couldn't blame them that much because everyone was busy and we understood their situation. We also didn't complain because we enjoyed the food and there were a lot of customers who were already irate, we didn't want to add to that.

Lastly, a few months ago I was here with my family to listen to the night live band, it was a great place for music (beer, cocktail, pizza). Best for the oldies, best/better for the youngs who appreciate old music 128521127908

CHEF AND BREWER HAS LONG BEEN A LANDMARK IN THE ORTIGAS NIGHT SCENE.

I was here many times and yesterday we celebrated my Officemate's birthday bash and what a surprise to us, It's Ghost Month and they offer on some premiered card a 50% off on all ala carte!!!

The menu items Php 350-Php 800 range were quite expensive but they have sets ranging from Php 200- Php 300 up.

We had C&B Platter (Php490) (mixed chicken, mozarella Cheese logs; oysters al fomo) ; Lobster balls and chicharon bulaklak (Php370) for Appetizers.

For Main dish: Pork Sisig (Php430) downside: you should chew it properly because their sisig has a bones of pork 128556 "Pork bones Sisig". It was more like stir fried with chili. It was good nevertheless. Another one we got was their Classic Crispy Pata (Php895) and C&B Fried Chicken (Php695), Both were taste good and yummy, it was crunchy and guilty for my figure 128556128556128556

Lunch slash birthday celebration of one of my colleagues. Have been in this place for the nth time since its just few walks from our office. Chef & Brewer might not look new but it has maintained its place. Looks like 90's yuppies place for me. At night the place has live bands.

Lunch has been a festive one. We had:

Rock Lobsterball (12 pcs for P490)- big serving appetizer. Our staple starter.

C&B Platter (wings, mozarella cheese logs, and oysters al fomo)-P490 - first time to try this one. For me its okay.

Pork Sisig (P430)- nothing spectacular. I prefer the crunchy type if sisig

Classic Crispy Pata (P895)- glorious! Crunchy! The staple main course of our group128522128055

Chicharon bulaklak (P370)- this is always spectacular. Cooked to superb crunchiness.

Blue Marlin Salpicado (P520)- served with garlic rice. But for a group this is a hassle one, the garlic rice is topped by delicious blue marlin

C&B Fried Chicken (P650)- takes time before this was served. But this is highly recommended! I love how the chicken was fried to perfection100841008410084

Verdict: this is one of the favorite group lunch out place in our office, because of location and familiarity with the menu. Though for me the price is a bit pricey esp with the ala carte. There are rice meals that are affordable (less than P200). Lechon Kawali rice meal is highly recommended

PS: havent taken pics of some dishes #hungry

Freaking service sucks like hell! Don't waste your precious time here. The food is "so so" and totally not worth your money and time. On top of that, it takes forever to get your bill and food (you have to continuously remind/follow up with them where your freaking food is). Totally regretting my decision to go here. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else.

I was here many times before all at night to watch a band or have a late night with friends. I just noticed recently that they are open for breakfast. And yes another spot to watch TV while enjoying food.

The menu items Php 350-Php 700 range were quite expensive and am thinking they are for groups. I opted though for special menu which had sets ranging Php 200- Php 300 up. I had their Chicken Sisig. It didnt taste like Sisig at all. It was more like stir fried with chili. It was good nevertheless. Another one I got was their mixed vegetables which was their rendition of Chopseuy. Both were a good pair but not something i'll re order on the next trip.

For the nth time, I found myself thinking....Why I havent tried this place before? It's my new favorite watering hole with good food! Anyway, we decided to have steady weekend and dinner here after the event yesterday. We ordered beef salpicao, Chef and Brewer Fried Chicken, Baked Oysters, and Shrimp cocktail :) The Baked Oyster was the star of the night! It was not too cheesy and buttery. Love it! Actually everything that we ordered was really good. For Bar Chow we had Nachos. Can I just say that they serve good nachos! For dessert we had coffee and the frozen flan. Yummy!!! They also serve good coffee and it comes with 2 refills. Not bad at all. I love love this place! Will definitely go back :)

P.S. For red wine, we had Merlot. I forgot the brand but it was just okay. Nothing special :)

One of our fave go-to bar after work. They have live bands nightly. Every night there's a theme and we've enjoyed their 70s-80s and also the 90s & newer genre. Always pleasantly surprised to see the place filled to the brim and people enjoying the music.

Food was good too!

One of my boss' foodplace list, aside from his favorite Korean resto (Ye Dang), this would be the default place. A walking distance resto from our office in Ortigas

The place has wooden furnishings, which I believe maintained since early 90's. And no wonder, most of the crowd are in their 40's.. Hmmm. The place has a nook for bands who plays in the evening (havent tried yet) well, the place is quite old but still its well maintained 128077

We had Rock Lobster Ball for appetizer served in skewers, 9 pcs for 400+. For me, nothing spectacular, it reminds me of squid balls. Only bigger and tastier. For main course, as much as I want to have diet... There's nothing I can do.. We had Crispy Pata and C&B Fried Chicken. Both are okay.. Both are crispy and yummy. Their fried chicken reminded me of Max's.. Its good! And lunch wouldnt be complete without the rice. We ordered C&B fried rice... Not your ordinary sinangag.. It is wrapped in scrambbled egg. Enjoyed lunch the first time here coz we have less orders unlike our previous lunch.

Just a tip, they serve good brewed coffee here for 1 peso per cup ( from 2pm til 4pm) .

This place has been here for quite sometime. People who are now in the mid forties.. Like my boss.. Enjoys and appreciates this place.

We had our christmas lunch here yesterday. And unlike other places that are jampack... They have plenty of tables. Its actually our choice to dine here, since this is a cartwheel away from the office.. Sige walk na lang pala.

Food: for me its all okay. Nothing new, what's new for me is the lobster balls. Hmmm

Price: pretty pricey. For few meals we ordered.

Ambiance: place is still okay, though the style is like it was in the early 90s.

Service: i would appreciate servers who give us details of the menu. Some meals are served with rice. Not knowing we ordered rice. So panay carbs tuloy ang nasa lamesa. Lol!

Tip: coffee here is only P1. From 2pm to 4pm. This is actually a permanent promo. Love their coffee.

I love the aura of this place, very old and classy.

Food was great, I had beef pepper. Most are expensive...but the coffee is just 1 peso!!! No joke! :)

Super place to hang out and listen to good bands like Midlife Crisis, Rockin 60's, and MOBB. Nacho Pizza is great with beer or stronger spirits. If you're looking for a sports bar, you came to the wrong place. C&B is for grooving and singing along to old time favorites!

a good place to unwind with bands who play songs from way back the 50s, 60s, 70s...so the crowd's generally young at heart.... 128131

We really need a real sports bar north of Makati. They wouldn't change the channel to show the ongoing FIBA game. And there's a live band despite the big Gilas game.

It's not very good as a pub either. Beer glasses aren't chilled. Beer selection is poor. And the food is mediocre despite being expensive.

It's homey but the interiors are dated.

Oysters. Dulong. Blue marlin salpicao. The list goes on. C and B is a famous after work gimik place but everyone should also try having lunch here.

Pardon the pic. I took it after eating. 128540
