Dine at your own risk, there have been reports of people getting sick and the management poorly dealt with the matter

The powerful kitchen couple, Chef Laudico and wife, Jackie collaborated mid this year with La Germania kitchen appliances. I was there to witness this wonderful merger, and was fortunate to win an oven as well.

That was my second stop in this go to place in San Juan. And this time they didn’t serve their usual buffet spread, but rather plated dishes designed for this event. Some of what we had, however, can be spotted in bits and pieces on your future visits here.

On this La Germania event, we were served Filipino favorites, done with a modern twist. This special gastronomic day started of with three spoonfuls of appetizers, The Crispy Sisig Basket, Kinilaw na Tuna and Palabok Wrap. The creativity displayed in these starters were impressive, and I loved the creativity and taste the most from the crunchy palabok.

For Soup we had a taste of home with Chef Lau’s Pork Sinigang with Taro Puree wrapped in Pechay. This bowl was both soothing and enjoyable, I liked how the taro added thickness and sweetness to our Filipino favorite.

On a healthier side, we were served a refreshing and color-filled Three kinds of Mango Salsa with Mesclun Green drizzled with dijon bagoong vinaigrette topped with Garlic Shrimps. This was a cool synergy of our local cuisine and that of French.

For a more sophisticated touch, they served us Kare Kare with tender and juicy, US Angus Beef. Beside it is well-seasoned Grilled Gindara served with filling Paella Rice.

Wife, Chef Jackie, a well known pastry chef concocted a wonderful set of Suman Panna Cotta Rice Cake with Latik and Fresh Mangoes for our dessert. This was undeniably delectable and addicting and so I am hoping they will serve this on their regular buffet.

Most of what we had that day was done in front of us as well, making this whole dining experience with Guevarra’s and La Germania extra memorable. Isn’t it amazing to learn how to curate good food and have it too?

Went here on a Saturday during lunch hours. We arrived at around 11 and were seated immediately. First thing I looked for was coffee but unfortunately, it is not included in the buffet. A separate order will cost you P25, which is not bad.

Decent selection of Filipino food. Notable ones were the beef tapa (this was really really good), angus beef (do not, I repeat, do not leave this place without trying this), grilled squid, shrimp cooked in garlic butter I think, and the crispy bacon bagnet (huhuhuhu). I also liked their tokwa't baboy and ensaladang talong. For the desserts, musts are the champorado, buko pandan, and maja blanca. There is also a halo-halo and ice cream station.

Staff was approachable and friendly. It was a great dining experience overall. I would probably bring my family here next time.

For Filipino themed buffet, this is my number 1 pick. Imagine dining in an old refurbished house with high ceiling and old windows. It just gives you the feeling of having a meal at your own home. The food is superb and the desserts were all pinoy pang himagas.

It was my first time here, i knew i heard this chefs name somewhere, my guess it was from an ice cream commercial, so we had family dinner with a number of family friends, we were able to make a reservation beforehand and thank goodness we did coz it was packed on a wednesday night.

This place was situatied on a residential area and surprisingly theres ample parking inside. The restaurant itself looks like a old heritage house with garden outside.

Food here is all filipino, most are of good quality. Some worth mentioning are the steam fish, pork lechon belly 128523, angus beef 128523. Lechon belly is one of the best in the metro thus far and angus beef was their best seller, though the section of the angus beef was not the cut for steak it was good nonetheless.

Its a buffet at 500 each. It wasnt expensive as the foods were good. I wonder how much price increase it would be if they are situated at mall area but i hope they keep the price that way, and for a secluded restaurant, its surprising that they have lots of customers. 128522

I celebrated my birthday here, though we dont have any reservations. The crew was prompt to list us on waiting clients. Buffet options was great especially the Angus Steak and Tapa. Super loved it. It also includes drinks and desserts which is sulit for the price.

The place was also nice and picturesque which my parents loved. They were located on a one way area so might as well have it on Waze.

Gotta go back here soon. 128588🏻

For Beh's graduation I suggested Guevarra's for something different-- since I'm already a fan of Chef Lau's Pugon. 128517

What I really like about this place is the ambiance itself. It's very neat and calming. Even the place is not that huge compared to other buffet restaurants. The ambiance gives a homie feeling, maybe because it's an old house. 128517

I so love the Sisig in a Basket on the apps area. it was really good! Everything was good. 128513 Will surely celeb my birthday here! 128525

Mother's treat last August before I went back to work offshore. Since my sister has been here a few times so alam na nya kung ano ang masasarap. For a month of being away with no pork, medyo excited ako to try the Bagnet and napa wow ako sa sarap. Angus Beef was also yum yum!

Didn't eat rice as I wanted to try all the foods but was focused in their seafood. Though mga 2 or 3 lang ata ang andun. But overall, I was really full when I left. Nagkaron pa naman ng konting space sa tummy ko for dessert.

I wanna go back here with my family next time since this was only a bonding with my Nanay and sis. Good experience! 128522

Akala nila gagawing daing.

Calamares - Maalat. Na. Fried. Pusit.

Lechon Baboy - Alam mo yung tipong alaga mong baboy eh laging luya ang pagkain nya araw araw? Tapos nung dumating na yung araw na iluluto sya, amoy luya, lasang luya yung baboy. Tapos isserve sayo ung lechon, kakainin mo lasang luya talaga. Sana luya na lang sinerve sakin. Same lang naman.

Angus beef - Pwede na. As usual, maalat. Ibabad mo na lang sya sa sauce para mabawasan ang pagka-alat nya.

Rice - di ko alam kung anong tawag nila sa kanin. May kulay pa eh. Kala ko masarap, as usual, maalat. Sana sinangag na lang nila.

Seafood ala pobre - Anak ng teteng, pati ba naman to maalat pa din?

And last but not the least, ang natikman kong masarap na ginawa nila,

Leche flan - Matamis. Haha.

The last time we ate here was 4 years ago, and our experience was really awful, however after recently reading a lot of good reviews, we decided to try it again, and this time it was really excellent. Food was still warm, the meat on the carving station wasn't rancid and service was really great.

I went out to dinner with friends at Gueverra's last March. My friend already book in advanced. We got a table as soon as possible. No waiting time.

It's been my first to eat a Filipino Buffet Restaurant in San Jaun.

I started with my first plate with Filipino appetizers. The next few plates, I got some more appetizers, Lechon, Kare Kare, Kang Kong, Palabok, Rice and Sinigang with Unlimited Iced Teas. The last plate, I got Halo Halo, Filipino desserts, Fruits and Ice cream.

The food were good. The place was good. It's a Filipino Style House. You will not miss it.The service is good. The place is clean. The buffet per person is around or below P1000.It is not expensive as hotel buffet.

I recommend this people who are interested to eat Filipino buffet restaurant. The restaurant is full house. You should book a table in advanced for your lunch or dinner. You need to be little early to get good parking slot here. While waiting for a table, you can have some pictures outside the restaurant.

The place to be if you wanna eat bottomless Pinoy food. It has a lot of variety from the salads, appetizers, the main course, desserts and drinks. It also has a carving station and I would say that the angus beef is the bomb especially when eaten with the estofado sauce. Other notables are the dinuguan, lumpiang sariwa, the inihaw na sinampalukang manok and the callos ( you just need to pick the less fatty parts of it though) and the spicy halabos na hipon. The lechon cebu was also good. For dessert a must try is the tablea champorado and the suman.

The place which is an old house is pretty classy and there's lots of parking. You can hang out in the garden while waiting for your turn. Just make sure to make prior reservations because walk ins have to wait for a long time. Also be sure to come on time because they are kinda strict with reservations.

The buffet is reasonably priced at P450, which means you don't have to eat everything to make it sulit. Since it is affordable, you can always come back another time and sample the other treats.

It is one awesome experience haha!

I had the greet time enjoying every bite of their food sayang walang chocolate fountain then again they have red velvet mini cupcakes masaya na ako as well as the sweet tasty and bitin leche flan!

One of my favorite dish is their lechon cebu spicy yes but the skin was malutong the way every filipino would like when eating lechen malutong na balat!

The venue is an old house turned into a resto. Love the entire place. They have paintings and plates signed by public figure personnel who ever visited the place is given a plate and signed it. They also have a viranda perfect for couples. I am definitely coming back! Thank God and we went there during lunch time there was room for walking and burning those carbs!
