Mother's treat last August before I went back to work offshore. Since my sister has been here a few times so alam na nya kung ano ang masasarap. For a month of being away with no pork, medyo excited ako to try the Bagnet and napa wow ako sa sarap. Angus Beef was also yum yum!

Didn't eat rice as I wanted to try all the foods but was focused in their seafood. Though mga 2 or 3 lang ata ang andun. But overall, I was really full when I left. Nagkaron pa naman ng konting space sa tummy ko for dessert.

I wanna go back here with my family next time since this was only a bonding with my Nanay and sis. Good experience! 128522

Didn't get to take decent pictures bec I was too busy refilling my plate as usual hahaha. The staffs were nice and accomodating. Loved their desserts as well. As for the main dishes, I liked them as well, especially their Angus Beef and Bagnet!

Akala nila gagawing daing.

Calamares - Maalat. Na. Fried. Pusit.

Lechon Baboy - Alam mo yung tipong alaga mong baboy eh laging luya ang pagkain nya araw araw? Tapos nung dumating na yung araw na iluluto sya, amoy luya, lasang luya yung baboy. Tapos isserve sayo ung lechon, kakainin mo lasang luya talaga. Sana luya na lang sinerve sakin. Same lang naman.

Angus beef - Pwede na. As usual, maalat. Ibabad mo na lang sya sa sauce para mabawasan ang pagka-alat nya.

Rice - di ko alam kung anong tawag nila sa kanin. May kulay pa eh. Kala ko masarap, as usual, maalat. Sana sinangag na lang nila.

Seafood ala pobre - Anak ng teteng, pati ba naman to maalat pa din?

And last but not the least, ang natikman kong masarap na ginawa nila,

Leche flan - Matamis. Haha.

The last time we ate here was 4 years ago, and our experience was really awful, however after recently reading a lot of good reviews, we decided to try it again, and this time it was really excellent. Food was still warm, the meat on the carving station wasn't rancid and service was really great.

I went out to dinner with friends at Gueverra's last March. My friend already book in advanced. We got a table as soon as possible. No waiting time.

It's been my first to eat a Filipino Buffet Restaurant in San Jaun.

I started with my first plate with Filipino appetizers. The next few plates, I got some more appetizers, Lechon, Kare Kare, Kang Kong, Palabok, Rice and Sinigang with Unlimited Iced Teas. The last plate, I got Halo Halo, Filipino desserts, Fruits and Ice cream.

The food were good. The place was good. It's a Filipino Style House. You will not miss it.The service is good. The place is clean. The buffet per person is around or below P1000.It is not expensive as hotel buffet.

I recommend this people who are interested to eat Filipino buffet restaurant. The restaurant is full house. You should book a table in advanced for your lunch or dinner. You need to be little early to get good parking slot here. While waiting for a table, you can have some pictures outside the restaurant.

The place to be if you wanna eat bottomless Pinoy food. It has a lot of variety from the salads, appetizers, the main course, desserts and drinks. It also has a carving station and I would say that the angus beef is the bomb especially when eaten with the estofado sauce. Other notables are the dinuguan, lumpiang sariwa, the inihaw na sinampalukang manok and the callos ( you just need to pick the less fatty parts of it though) and the spicy halabos na hipon. The lechon cebu was also good. For dessert a must try is the tablea champorado and the suman.

The place which is an old house is pretty classy and there's lots of parking. You can hang out in the garden while waiting for your turn. Just make sure to make prior reservations because walk ins have to wait for a long time. Also be sure to come on time because they are kinda strict with reservations.

The buffet is reasonably priced at P450, which means you don't have to eat everything to make it sulit. Since it is affordable, you can always come back another time and sample the other treats.

It is one awesome experience haha!

I had the greet time enjoying every bite of their food sayang walang chocolate fountain then again they have red velvet mini cupcakes masaya na ako as well as the sweet tasty and bitin leche flan!

One of my favorite dish is their lechon cebu spicy yes but the skin was malutong the way every filipino would like when eating lechen malutong na balat!

The venue is an old house turned into a resto. Love the entire place. They have paintings and plates signed by public figure personnel who ever visited the place is given a plate and signed it. They also have a viranda perfect for couples. I am definitely coming back! Thank God and we went there during lunch time there was room for walking and burning those carbs!

I guess its the number of food choices that awes you as soon as you see the buffet spread. For balikbayans and visitors who want to try a variety of Filipino dishes, this is a good deal. Food taste was okay, with some dishes better than others. I love the old house ambience that makes you feel like dining at your Lola's.

I loved this place because a lot of choices in foods for a buffet they have angus beef, chicken pastel and desserts such as pastries mango ice cream, halo-halo and a lot more the price not bad for php. 450.00 service is good but we only have one problem the table we were sitting keeps on moving the waiter fix it but still the same anyway i love the old spanish style ambience.

Insan April H already covered the detailed review 128518 It was my first time there and I have to say that were it not for the insane heartattack and stroke-inducing traffic, I'd go there again. I wasn't really able to eat a lot even though it was a buffet because I was tired and was just chatting with my other cousin, whom I hadn't seen in 20 years.

The place itself was gorgeous, and yes as evidenced in the photo, we took the requisite picture on the steps with the (almost) whole clan.

The food was ok, nothing special, just the staple Filipino dishes like kare-kare, lechon, sinigang, tinola, etc. I especially liked the dessert selection. Leche flan, macaroons, vanilla cupcake, buko pandan, halo-halo... And lots more.

Good place to have reunions like this but Only if you're willing to brave traffic.

Oh my!! I went here for a friends event. I read good reviews on the place but being able to experience the place 1st hand is even better! I enjoy Filipino cuisine, but was kinda "skeptical" since any drastic changes made could really alter the food in a bad way... But definitely not at this place. From their salted egg creamy sauce that goes with everything in my opinion to their "chicken pot pie" Pinoy version, yummy!! I am definitely coming back and recommending this place to anyone visiting the Philippines, that's craving for Filipino food. Weekdays for lunch cost 399 (wow! For all the selections) & 499 for weekends. Dinner is more but nothing too extravagant. I feel this place is more known by "word of mouth" & the owners stick to the homey Filipino hospitality and feel; also price friendly in my opinion for everyone. My taste buds were super impressed!

Another delicious dinner with the family tonight!128525

My aunt asked me to think about a good Filipino restaurant for a big group of people... I posed the question to a friend, preferrably around the Greenhills area... Without further thought, she said "Guevarra's, di ka mapapahiya!"

I trusted her judgement, though there have been mixed reviews for the place... If there's one thing though: MAKE RESERVATIONS WAAAY AHEAD OF TIME BECAUSE IT GETS PACKED... I don't know if they accept walk-ins, but that place was full on a weeknight! I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't...

I read your very helpful reviews of the place (thank you btw), so I knew that it was an old house converted into a restaurant... But I was still surprised when we got there. The place was huge from the outside! They have a pretty big parking lot for their guests... Yey!128588 Plus, I liked the simple fountain in front of their staircase, right on the manicured lawn...

The place itself was very simple, filled with plates signed by their famous guests... Whitewashed walls with very simple tables & chairs... The old divisions of their rooms remain the same, giving you pseudo-privacy for your group...

The buffet set-up was simple... I appreciated that they didn't have so many choices actually... I usually get overwhelmed in buffets and have a tendency to overeat, as we all do... Not for this restaurant though. They focus on Filipino food; offering soups, salads, pica-pica, noodles, and multiple viands for dinner... I liked that the available choices were well-thought of in terms of the overall menu... They have all kinds of meat and veggies to choose from... I liked their bagnet, tokwa't baboy, and their kare-kare... Of course, there were dishes that I wasn't too hot about, but why focus on that when there was a lot of good food?128522 They also have few dessert options, but I enjoyed the palitaw and macaroon the most... Made my own halo-halo, but I think I did it wrong...128513

I had a great time catching up with my family and I was happy when my foreigner cousin said that he appreciated the buffet set-up so that they were free to pick and choose their food... Yey!128515

The staff were so nice! Very helpful IMO... Their birthday number for their guests was funny! Plus they take great pics of the group!128077 A must nowadays!128155

I enjoyed my experience and I really had fun! Take a pick on the staircase btw!128516

i usually think filipino buffets are blah. this was no exception. for the price, i'd rather eat somewhere non-buffet but would taste good. i'd go as far as saying that the laudicos ruined their name on this resto. disappointing does not even describe it enough.

don't even bother trying:
macaroni salad - ugh. gross. i'd rather eat kfc's.
fried chicken adobo - cold and sad. gross actually.
roast beef - spell umay!
sweet chili crabs - not fresh, does not taste good. crabs are payat.
chicken pastel - crust was hard! tastes blah also.

so-so dishes:
callos
fish fillet in buro
angus tapa
baked mac/mac and cheese - looked sad and soupy but it was ok
sinuglaw - this was kinda good but it was cold also!
crispy crablets and calamares - can't go wrong with this. nothing special about them. tastes just like the ones you find in mercato or on the streets.
ice cream - tasted like blue bunny
grilled squid - kinda rubbery already

saving graces:
lechon and bagnet - both were crispy AF! the bagnet's every square inch of skin crackled and bubbled!

I honestly believe that Chef Laudico Guevarra’s is my best discovery for this entire year. I know I’m pretty late for it but discovering this place just made my whole year amazing. This place has become my new go-to buffet when thinking about “where to eat” becomes unbearably difficult haha.

It all started when I was looking for a great buffet place (that’s somehow intimate and interesting) for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. I don’t want it to be too expensive and fancy because I don’t like fancy and expensive. It's so not in my personality. I also want it to be intimate and a bit special than the usual buffets around malls or hotels. And also, the place should serve good Filipino dishes.

First thing I checked out was my looloo app. This app has totally become my instant helper whenever I need to find the closest best place to be fat and happy. Thanks to looloo it has pointed me to go to Chef Laudico Guevarras — a 4-star rated buffet with pages of really great reviews and photos from everyone in the looloo community.

I knew right away that this was what I wanted for the night. It's not that fancy, it's intimate, the setting is interesting, and according to its reviews it serves the best Pinoy food. It’s perfect.

Getting there was pretty easy (thanks to the power of internet and apps like Uber and Waze) to think that it was a weekend. It took us 30 minutes from UST – not bad!

Upon reaching the place, I was instantly mesmerized by how beautiful it was. I’m a huge sucker for vintage Filipino houses so this really hit me on the right spot. It was spot on beautiful. I felt like I was taken back to a time where people wore barongs and Filipinianas. The place is lovely! I love how it’s the center of a huge lot with lots of open spaces for the people. Guests can sit under the trees while waiting for their turn to enter, take pictures of the house’s beautiful façade, even smoke if they wanted to.  It’s such a beautiful place. I imagine it being in a postcard!

We were not able to secure a reservation prior to our visit so we were made to wait for like 45 minutes. No biggie. We knew that time that the wait is going to be worth it. We’ve read so many great reviews about their US Beef Tapa and the Lechon and all so there really is no room for any bad feelings for waiting. But if it were for me... book a reservation. Just so you have more time to eat and appreciate the place!

Once we got in — we got so impressed by the interiors. A grand chandelier and the view of happy diners welcomed us right away. I love how the place stayed true to its Filipino identity. The paintings around and the historical bits you will see will also be very interesting to check out. The walls lined with plates signed by satisfied personalities can’t be missed. It’s literally in every wall of the place. You will see plates signed by Sarah Geronimo, Jessica Soho, Jericho Rosales and many more. The place itself is already a great conversation piece — a huge one!

Now, about the food. The reviews here on looloo are correct — their food is fantastic. Everything in their menu tastes really good and I love how everything is replenished even to the last 15 minutes. Every single dish you’ll get will surely be hot and prepared fresh. I’ve never seen food that went cold or even dry.

I was able to try everything in their menu from the popular tapa down to the really delicious kalabasa pastillas. The tapa tasted sooooo crazy good like it melts in your mouth. It goes so well with the vinegar too. Their lechon is also crazy. Nothing comes close to Cebu’s lechon but this one is like very, very close to it.  Chef Lau’s lechon is everything. It’s ahhhhhh-mazing. Sarap!

Another thing that I love in their menu is the Paella rice. I ate almost everything with it. It’s so good. You also need to try their dinuguan and puto. It tastes like every dinuguan I’ve tasted but BETTER. It’s weird. It’s like they formulated the best recipe for the dinuguan.

If you like ensaladas, try their Squidlaw. I think it’s called that way because it’s coleslaw but with squid? I’m just making things up right here but it really tastes good! It helps remove umay when eating really savory or fried food. So make sure you get a platter of this for every plate that you get. It’s good.

About desserts, they almost have everything here. They have puto, cupcakes, puto bumbong, pastillas made with kalabasa (squash?), and all the other Filipino kakanins that we all love. Also, another fun thing here is their halo-halo station! You can create your own halo-halo from scratch using their really fresh ingredients and toppings. Now, if you’re not much of a fan of halo-halo and you want something much more recent, they have a sundae machine just for you. The last time I was here, they were serving pistacchio and vanilla sundae. Perfect for the hot day!

For its price (less that P1000 per head), you are definitely getting more than what you paid for. They have a really friendly staff that will help you with anything you need (they dance for birthday celebrants, willing to take your pictures, laugh with you when they overhear your jokes), a well-curated menu of the most-loved Filipino dishes, and a great ambience that is perfect for families or couples or friends.

I really hope Chef Laudico Gueverra’s never loses its charm and fantastic service. It’s definitely one of the best places to dine in here in our country and it’s something that we should all be proud of. It’s amazing how a simple and insanely delicious menu of all-Filipino food can give out a high-quality experience for everyone. Chef Laudico Guevarra’s really proved my belief that Filipino food can stand out without being too complicated or being overdone because the Filipino food, our food, is the best in its purest form.

Five stars for you Chef Laudico Gueverra’s!

Good selection. Many choices. Very popular so best to book in advance.

Nothing extraordinary with the Filipino food variants but they were good enough for me. At least I've tried it.
