Big serving size for their bestseller pugon roasted chicken meal with rice and drinks.

Roasted chicken is flavourful with atchara side dish. First time to try chicken with pinakurat vinegar.

If you are hungry and looking for value for your money then this is one of the restos to go 128512

I had a meeting in Ayala Tower one Friday morning and it ended around lunch time. I figured that it's a great time for me to explore Ayala Triangle as I hardly frequent the area. I was thinking of visiting Simple Lang as I fell in love with its cakes. But the rather steep price for its dishes made me look elsewhere.

I ended up in Chef Lau's Pugon Roasters. The huge photos of sisig caught my attention.

I went inside and ordered Sizzling Chicken Sisig (PHP99 | PHP119 with drinks). I got my number and went to the sole empty table in the small restaurant.

Service was quick and I got my sisig in less than 5 minutes.

It looked lovely. I drizzled some calamansi juice on the sizzling sisig and took a big bite.

And...

It was the most disgusting dish I've ever munched on. It was all mushy and the parts they used were from I don't know what. It was like I was eating sizzling leftover food. There were a lot of small bones too. I couldn't eat it at all. Thank goodness though for the egg. I ate that instead with rice.

I've had chicken sisig before and it was nothing like this.

I will never ever go back. 128534

P.S. Service may be quick but the servers are not friendly at all. They were like Sadness of Inside Out when I visited.

My nth review for this cool place! We skipped visiting Ayala Triangle Gardens during the Christmas season due to the very long lines particularly during the light show. And here we are again - missing this chicken sisig much! I would always recommend this place for lunch or after-office hangouts than any place in this part of town!

Wishing for more dining tables though, especially during the peak hours of the day. Despite the long lines during noon breaks, they still manage to get people seated comfortably due to fast turnover time.

Chef Lau's Pugon Roasters never disappoints. Food quality and taste is still tops! Service is also great, despite being a self-serve store. You always get more than you pay for.

I had to try again their specialty, Chicken Pugon Roasters, and I really liked it. Choose the breast part of chicken so it will be more than enough to pair with rice. Very practical.

Tried this for the very first time with my boyf,

place: 2/5 not enough ventilation

food: Sizzling chicken sisig, 4/5 i love the sisig taste, but they didn't serve it like sizzling hot :(
Cheesy chicken croquettas, 5/5 sml!! it's so crispy & cheesy and i love the sauce (haven't seen in the picture tho) but it's really good!!

price: 4/5 yup affordable! :)

service: 1/5 very poor service all of the servers and especially the cashiers are masungit, and my bf said that their making faces to the customers, and the servers when you call them it seems like they didn't hear you.

GIVING THEM 3 STARS BC OF THE FOOD! 128077🏻

CHEF LAU'S? Of course this is a must-try resto!! And I'm sure you'll come back for more. ;)

MUST TRYS ON THEIR MENU:
- Chicken Sizzling Sisig w/rice 99php
- Pugon Roasters w/rice 99php
- Fried Isaw? I think lol 29php
- Soda float 60php/Sundae ??php /Halo halo ??php (their ice cream is made of carabao's milk which is very tasty!! <3)

And I recommend this place where you can relax and grab a drink with your friends. :)
Their bucket of beer just costs 300+ php and it comes with a bowl of fried isaw already 128523

If you're reading this, I really recommend this place cause you'll never regret it ;)

Good food, Affordable, Fast and Friendly Staff Service 9786

Lastly, they don't have a service charge!! 🤘🏻

Got an ice cream halo-halo to fulfill my cravings. Waited for 15 minutes and followed-up twice regarding my order. They just made my halo-halo when I went to the counter and asked them for one last time. The halo-halo was okay, not bad for its price although I wish there's more sahog.

1108811088️ overall, for the service and not so good food!

Although the place is humid and small, the food is awesome and the staff are very accomodating. always smiling inspite of them being undermanned. the chicken is the best. Must try the pugon roast chicken and dinuguang isaw. the parts of the chicken are big so valie for money is reasonable.

What made this different from other banoffee pies is the bananas. They were sweet, soft but not overripe. The whipped cream complimented the bananas, it did not overpower it. I don't like peanut butter but I didn't even realize that it was there.

But the crust was just too tough.

It was just "ok".. Or maybe we didn't order their best seller. Well the lady there told us that their best seller is the steak "tapsi" style and the adobo. But we were not so happy about it. Maybe we should try the sisig nxt time. But the isaw chicharon is the BOMB!!! Hahaha loved it!!!

It was Mother's Day and we're thinking of what to give to our supervisor. We're going to buy at Bannaple sana but we're eating their cakes for sometime already and we want something new. We risked to try the cakes in Pugon.

Cake in the picture is White Chocolate Cheesecake. The whole is at 850php. Definitely worth every penny!!! 128525

Anyone who can suggest what to try next? 128522

For me this is one of the most interesting roasted chicken in town. It has flavor and a kick of curry turmeric spice and is on the budget. Better than fastfood
