Love is sweeter the second time around!
Yup. This isn't my first review on Chef Mo's Ribhouse. And what made me come back to him this time is their Chicken Cajun Platter.
Of course, I got their iced tea which I love and highly recommend! It's more like an apple juice with lemon and honey, and most of all, it's freshly made as always!
Back to the Chicken Cajun, the chicken itself was boneless and tender, I did not see any bones in my plate. And the marinade was so tasty! The sides include mashed potato, grilled corn and peppered carrots and a dipping made with honey, apple and some five-spice powder/chili powder. I'm not sure what it's made of but it does complement the chicken and the mashed potato! All of these for 258 Pesos only.
The best part of the night was Chef Mo himself treating us a special sampler of his soon-to-launch Tenderloin steak!
The picture alone screams "Yummy". The steak was placed atop of mashed potato covered in Chinese cabbage. Not to mention the tasty gravy surrounding the cabbage bed and topping of grilled fresh tuna. It was my first time to actually encounter such dish so I did what I thought I needed to do, which was to try everything at once. The steak was the most exciting part because the smokiness and natural beef flavor is pronouned and the meat is so soft, although we requested it cooked well-done. Also, I never thought that mashed potato goes well with the crunchiness of the Chinese cabbage, especially when added with more gravy! Plus the tuna gives the overall flavor a zest of lime flavor and seafood twist.
All in all, it was refreshing both literally and figuratively. But I think I would prefer giving the tenderloin steak alone a try next time I get back and when they finally officially launches it!
They also mentioned they will be launching group meals or platters which sounds more interesting. Because that means we get to try many specials in one set of meal.

Watch out for it and make sure to look for Chef Mo when you drop by!

We wanted to try their hickory ribs but unfortunately its out of stock when we get their. We ended ordering their bbq and peppered rib. Yes, both dishes are delicious128516128516. With the baked beans, mashed potato and mac n cheese, these three side dish are mouth watering.
Service was great. Staffs are polite and accommodating. Overall experience is great. We will definitely go back to this reston and will try their other dishes. I will recommed this to my friends and you guys. 128522128522128522

The waitress was very suggestive on food and serving size. We tried the Pumpkin Soup, Hickory smoked Ribs ( ribs is soooo tender and tasty), Corned Beef Sinigang ( must try) and dark chocolate cake (fulfilling dessert). Result happy 128512 tummy.

I've been a fan of ribs and this restaurant along the famous strEAT of Malingap in Teacher's Village, Quezon City did not fail my expectations. We were going to order the hickory smoked ribs but they already ran out of it so opted to try their BBQ ribs instead and I'm glad we did! It was generously smothered with sauce, not dry and the meat falls-off-the-bone! As for the side dish, you have an option of 1 side dish for 338 pesos and 2 for 378 pesos. I got the mashed potato and my partner got 2 side dishes such as Mac and cheese and coleslaw! And the coleslaw- was Superb! I am stereotype when it comes to coleslaw but it's true what the Chef himself said- Chef Mo, that this one is a must-try! The apple-flavored is also recommendable! I like that it's made-to-order and freshly made.
As for the ambience, they have this vintage and antique-feel and the vinyl playing music background adds more nostalgia. As for the service, we arrived past 1 PM and was surprised with continuous arrival of guests and I noticed that there was only one staff taking orders and with other guests billing out already, the staff was kind of panicking as she was yelling to other staff in the kitchen and I can tell by her face. Parking is a challenge if you arrive during peak hours.
This is the rib house you and your friends, workmates, lover or family should go to if you want a rib fix that's worthy of your budget!

Came here for the first time last 12.11.15 and as soon as we were walking in, we were greeted and seated.

We ordered the Hickory Smoked Ribs and the Peppered Ribs since those two were the most ordered dishes here. I had high expectations for the brag they get but I wasn't going with high hopes so I wouldn't get my heart broken. Their ribs completely blindsided me. 128557 THEY'RE AMAZING!!! Nice and tender, you can pull it off the bone so easily! I also appreciate that the Hickory BBQ sauce was just the right amount and didn't overpower the ribs. (Don't lie, you know your mouth is watering right now.)

Side orders, we got potato wedges, mashed potato, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a bit bland and could use a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I ended up going with the potato wedges which I enjoyed so much. 

Oh, and you gotta try Chef Mo's Carbonara! IT WAS DELISH! I usually never order white sauce at restaurants but this was perfectly executed! Pasta perfectly cooked, sauce was creamy and buttery, and served with freshly cracked egg. Major plus! 

Overall everything tasted pretty good! Left with a happy belly and I will definitely be back to try other menu items!

The place has a good ambiance. But a little too small. I ate here during their soft opening so i'm pretty sure there would be adjustments. The food is really good and cheap for a ribhouse as well. The service is pretty fast considering it's a ribhouse. The decorations are really well thought of
