The first time I went here I just had an iced tea, because my friend was raving about their iced tea like it's been canonized as a saint, like it's Liza Soberano in a liquid form, like it's worth 1 million pesos. In short, my friend is exaggerated.

To be fair I did like the iced tea (PHP 25) because it's brewed, which I figured means that it's not made from those powdered thingy that you buy from the grocery. It's sweet but not in a yung-totoo-sugar-tea-ba-to-or-iced-tea kind of way. Liked it.

Then my friend and I went back today to have lunch. They have chicken and pasta meals. My friend had Buttered Chicken (PHP 75) while I had Spicy Chicken (PHP 70). You can have it with either rice or pasta (puttanesca), we picked the former. In all fairness the chicken is good. Mine just had a kick of spiciness; the flavor is there but not overpowering. The buttered chicken is also delicious and is even more flavorful than the spicy chicken.

ChiChops can be found in the neighborhood where I used to live, San Antonio Village. To me, the food is not bad at all for its cheap price. I'm definitely recommending it to anyone.
