Quick and cheap lunch!

Carla M. was craving for liver and I gizzard. Turns out we each got chicken but I got the additional baticolon stick. Garlic rice for moi and plain rice for her. We were a bit early so the food was served pretty fast. The baticolon wasn't as hard as I expected it to be and the rice was also not as greasy for garlic rice. Win! Chicken tasted ok at least this time it was cooked. There is no service charge so the service isn't all that good because the waiter brought us two plain rice which he was quick to change and Carls' chicken was brushed with oil when she specifically said not to. He also had it changed and was apologetic.

Since the rest of the lunch buddies were not with us, this was quick. We wanted to hang for a bit and I was craving for hot chocolate from Starbucks but our thing turned into a window shopping stint.

Thanks for the company, Varls!

Choosing the place for NB today was a quick decision. It was funny when Julie J messaged us to start deciding where to eat lunch at 7 a.m. Super funny! I haven't had coffee or breakfast yet! But the decision was made. I got so preoccupied at work that i couldn't leave on time. Good thing i had a late breakfast at 9:40 a.m. When i got there, my lunch buds were already there and waiting for their orders. Chicken bacolod, which is called Chibax pala (or si uts Kirby G lang tumatawag nun dun) has sort of a canteen/food court feel. When i saw Carls and Jules, i felt they were my classmates in college. Haha! I was unsure what i wanted so i had to order myself.

I ordered two sticks of baticolon and garlic rice 128525. P55 each per stick and P45 ba or P65 for a cup of garlic rice. Not bad! Jules had her chicken sent back because it wasn't cooked. Carla's was fine. I enjoyed my lunch! Because it was going to end with dessert! I'd come back if i were to crave for something here. But it would take a while. There's still more to try with Julie J since she kept eye-ing restaurants around. Heehee!
