One of the many Filipino restaurants in the city. My personal favorites are their Sizzling Squid, Buttered Shrimps, and Buttered Tangigue. I also love the fact that I can enjoy these dishes with their serving of unlimited rice.

As far as this branch's ambience is concerned, it is okay. Interiors are simple and the space that they have can be quite cramped most specially if they're full. Service is good, based on personal experience. Hope other diners get to experience the same thing as well.

Chikaan's pinakbet with chicharon is 128077128079
I'm not a fan of pinakbet and all those veggies but wow, I was blown away with this one! It has this kind of edge that makes it really good, I dont know if its the shrimp or the chicharon. The service is quite good too. I didn't like their calamares though cuz its more on starch. So yeah, I highly recommend the Pinkabet with chicharon 128077 their Arnold Palmer drink is good too!

We originally planned to try Golden Cowrie but since it has a long queue, we decided to go somewhere for dinner, thus, the Chika-an.

We ordered Baked Scallops which tasted good; the Bicol Express looked different (bc of the string beans, or was it even string beans? Haha); the Pancit was okay, same with Calamares and Releñong talong; Arnold's Iced Tea for drinks; and what a surprise, I never thought Sinigang na Tanigue can be a dessert -insert sarcasm- We were halfway done when we followed up the Sinigang only to find out it wasn't listed, we finished everything on our table, waited for a couple more minutes and voila, the Sinigang was served!

The service water also took time. I asked a lady for 6 glasses that never came; then asked again a guy and brought just 3 glasses of water on our table.

Good job guys! They really need to improve their service. Tsk tsk.
