Horrible. A far cry from the Choi Garden in Greenhills. Food quantity is small for its price, the wait was soooo long. Everything took a long time. And when the bill came, there was a double charge, and it took again forever to revise the bill. It was tiring to eat there.

Had lunch at this place. Got here before 12nn, on a weekday, and it was deserted.

Funny thing was, we were the only customers there, but waiting time for the food was still not that quick. We only had dimsum and baked asado buns, but since everything took quite long then even with addiitional orders and a few customers later on, our lunch took a good almost 1.5 hours. There were no ready, fresh buns during our arrival (and again, we were the only ones there!) so they had to cook another batch taking at least 30 minutes.

Saving grace(s): place is large and the quality of the buns were good. The baked buns are better here than in Tim Ho Wan, IMO. Their hakaw was good, but quite forgettable. Their xlbs were soggy and soup easily leaked from the dimsum. Service is nice, but could be much improved.

I like the ambiance. The place is also large. Their chicken feet is good. I also like their fruit shake offering. Tried their watermelon shake and mango sago and it really compliments the food. Im not really into roast duck but they say it is a must try. Their pork asado is served with a matching sauce and i like it best with chili. The ateamed spare ribs is juat ordinary though.

Tried their Steamed Spareribs (in photo). Well, was a bit disappointed to see that it's so pale. It didnt have any tausi too. But nevertheless, it was ok, "just ok". Could be better. The meat was tender.

The chicken feet was good.

Same food like before when it started as hk choi. I loved the pork buns though which is almost similar to THW.

It was Father's Day. Initially went to Annapolis branch where we were made to wait by the guard for 20mins outside the resto because we arrived a few minutes before 11am. I asked to speak to
the receptionist to inquire if we can still be accommodated despite not having any prior reservations. I called but there was no answer. The guard refused to call the reception and asked us to wait.

After 20mins, a staff (i think a supervisor) motioned for the guard and called his attention as to why he didnt let us and the other guests in as they opened early because of fathers day.

We were made to wait for 20mins only to be told that they're fully booked.

Anyway, we ended up in their Megamall branch. This is actually their "more affordable" branch. Meaning they dont have the same menu, and they only offer short orders and the typical Chinese items commonly found in other restos.

We had the following:
1. Baked Asado Buns
2. Chicken Feet
3. Assorted Cold Cuts
4. Roast Duck
5. Pata Tim - our least favorite. It had that "porky" taste...must be the feeds that were fed to the pig.
6. Mango Sago

Happy with our orders except the Pata Tim. Service was fast and we were seated immediately when we arrived at past 12noon. 128521

Another good Chinese resto option when in Megamall.

One of my family's go to places for Chinese food! Ordered the sweet & sour pork, lemon chicken, salted fish rice, minced pork and eggplant, and fried noodles. Everything was good!

They have good Peking duck, too! Though we didn't order it this time around. 128077

Btw, ended up here again last Sunday because the lines at Ippudo and Tim Ho Wan were crazy. Oh well!

Definitely loved this place! We ate here for my sister's birthday and I would definitely love to come back whether it be a birthday or not! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and very helpful! The only downside for me would be the construction that its currently undergoing. Probably expansion? Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely be recommending this place to friends! 128516

The place is big but looks old and the lights are dimmed, it wasn't really nice for me.

Beef in Home Made Spicy Sauce - we opted to try this instead of the usual Beef with Broccoli but we were disappointed. It's not the kind of spice we like.

Roasted Soy Chicken - 3/5 not bad with the ginger sauce

Fried Rice with Seafood and Egg White - nothing special and by seafood, they mean shrimps

Hakaw (jumbo) - it should've been really good but it came very late. I suggest you order this and ask for it to be served first. AND, you order this and only this.128539

Chinese food again! My daughter loves young chow fried rice so we ate Chinese food again. Was not fantastic but enough to satisfy our craving for Chinese food. Young chow was not oily and we did not feel the effect of MSG! 128512

So many things I didn't like about this place.

1st: the view. Haha we were seated at a table facing St. Francis Square, I think, also showing all the cars and people walking outside the mall. They could've at least covered it up with curtains or something to make the place look more inviting.

2nd: broken cups and bent utensils. Why. Seriously. The tea cups were already cracked - like, right where you're supposed to drink 128532

3rd: xiao long bao - butas 128566 as soon as I was about to pick up a piece, it already broke. One of the worst I've tasted too.

4th: we were almost done with our mains (spareribs, which were really tough & lemon chicken that tasted like flour) and they still wouldn't bring out the dimsum. We had to wait so long.

Uuuugh what a bad meal.

But thank God for the Gelatissimo stand nearby, it definitely saved the day 128077

Haha! Sorry for the pic. It was my 'rents 28th wedding anniversary yesterday so I need to use this pic. *pagbigyan na lol*

Craving for Chinese so I called in for a reservation as I expected Saturday night to be packed. When we got there, we were seated immediately. The place was only half full! I did not realize that the resto was big. Felt like we were back in HKG or something with the traditional big round tables and chandeliers. Lol.

We were all craving for different Chinese stuff so we just decided to each get our rice topping of choice. We had Braised beef, Mapo tofu, Lechon Macau, Combination Cold cuts, Sweet and sour fish fillet and Sliced beef with veggies. For 210 with free bowl of corn egg soup, it was worth it! The the rice and viand were served separately in these cute porcelain bowls with parang "tupperware" covers. Plus the servings were huge. Nothing too extraordinary with the taste though. Service was good. Fast and friendly. :)
