Super yummy and the maple glaze was spot on! Not to mention the super reasonable price!

Steak Sampler: Wisconsin Tenderloin, Tajima Wagyu, Angus Rib-Eye 1108811088110881108811088
If I wasnt with Ren, I could still have finished this because everything was done just right! Cooked medium rare and with just enough bloody mess to enjoy it.

Onion Rings (not in photo): 110881108811088
Too much starch. But it was very photogenic when I took a photo of it- sadly there's still room for improvement taste-wise

Waitstaff were accommodating, knowldgeable, and polite.

Perfect for quiet dinners

Lunch date w the wifey and we wanted something heavy to fill us in.

Ordered this 24oz USDA ribeye w fries on the side.

Complemented by caesar salad, other sides.

Steak was cooked medium and served on a wooden plank.

Our sides were good but not great yet expensive.

Service was A-ok, complimentary bread was given, complained about my fresh lemonade and promptly replaced.

Ambience is great as it's almost empty (i hate crowds)

Value for Money (reasonable as sometimes we splurge on food)

We were looking for a steakhouse in greenbelt, then we came across with CHOPS, so we decided to try.

Good for dates, monthsary and anniversary.
Ambiance is okay. Quite expensive, but its worth every penny.;))

Ordered.

Country fried steak and barbecued pork ribs.

Overall the food the food was very good. We starts off with the Bruschetta and the Bone Marrow(to die for...) . And an Additonal appetizer of onion rings, though i prefer the onion rings to be a bit thinner but good nonetheless.

Of course you wouldnt leave chops without ordering the Chicago Steak. It is a steakhouse. So we ordered different kinds of the steak and the lamb. we all noticed that there are big chunks of fat in the steak. So eating it when its medium cooked, is very challenging. It is great to match with the truffle mac and cheese and the creamy spinach and potato overload with bacon bits.

Taste was good. Experience with the staff was good. As we celebrated someone's birthday, they even had the birthday song played in the background and whilst we had him blow the candle(provided by the restaurant) on the cake.

It was just very expensive. Not all can really taste the goodness of the place because it is not for everyone. I would be able to go back if i was maybe on a date and we would be sharing.

But then again it is steak they are serving.

Decent place for steak in the Greenbelt area. Had the steak sampler, which was cooked quite well. Medium :) Super sulit. Should have just ordered one steak sampler and just split it with my hubby. Oh well-- a case of takaw tingin. But then again, I didn't mind having my own. Naubos ko naman e. Hehehe! If you're a carnivore like me, having your own sampler should be a delight.

It's Dustin M bday treat last night...

Happy happy birthday again!!!... Super thanks for the treat & great eats ... Even I'm so sick I was there127881127881... No voice & can't talk .. So watch & listen and eat was all I did... Haha

I'm not well & not sure my tasting buds are on it's right mind

🔘First up was oyster Rockefeller ...fresh but a little bland for my taste but everybody else were all enjoying it 311088

🔘Creamed spinach 511088

🔘charbroiled Slab of bacon.. Everyone like this so we ordered for seconds. 511088

🔘the bone marrow .. I didn't try but it was gone in a few mins so must be good 411088

🔘ribeye Chicago cowboy steak (bone in) 210z... Their grade aaa top of the line steak prime grade , dry-aged angus beef grain-fed, soft, medium rare, tender , pink juicy meat when I had a small bite ...it was the star of the meal 511088

🔘Chilean sea bass pan roasted sea bass fillet, fried oyster mushroom lotus root steam asparagus & hoisin ginger sauce .. Perfect meat but too salty for me, mushroom is deep fried & too oily(Umay at first bite) , asparagus is tasteless & stalks are tough 411088️ Coz of the big portion & perfect meat

🔘Cardiac rice fried rice with chunks of bacon... But some complained it's too salty 411088

🔘Potato overload not the process type that I dislike , not too creamy to feel all guilty ... It's home made & u can still bite into small bits of potato chunks ... Yummy considering I never liked mash potatoes 511088

🔘compli bday cupcake is cute... Lol...

They went to catch a few drinks after & I went home to crawl back to my bed & had a bite of the famous Tim ho wan pork buns

Service impeccable & prompt & knowledgeable 411088

A little pricey ... Think sea bass is the only dish worth the price, just need to fix the dish a bit .. EdsaShang summer palace still hv the best sea bass.

They hv smaller cuts of steaks & other cheaper grades Omaha steak is grade AA at (1-3k) certified angus beef is a grade A beef at (-1-2k)... What we had the prime grade is a gradeAAA and it cost (5100) size is good for 2 ... Good I'm not paying ... Hehehe & Dustin was offering to hv a 2nd order ... Hell no .. Omg128561... No voice and I can't even be nosy to ask more abt their steaks so frustrating

Son finished all 21ozs of this baby + more!!! He raved about how it was so juicy and tasty, and the fats that melt in your mouth.

The Rootbeer Cake was a delightful surprise! Served in a Rootbeer mug with chocolate dripping on the rim, the ice cream is scooped out with bite pieces of chocolate cake. Such a beauty! Just need to order this in advance as it did take awhile for it to come but for which the waiter duly apologized for since they still had to bake the cake... Or so he says...

Where do I start. They served us frozen "fresh oysters", there was a hair in our not much truffle Mac and Cheese plus the fact it looked like they used Chiz Whiz, our server didn't look like he wanted to be there, in fact the only thing that was good was my Tenderloin steak. Sorry to say this but I don't think I'll be coming back.

Ordered the steak sampler- it came with rib eye, tenderloin & wagyu kebabs plus 2 sides- we got the cardiac rice (fried rice with beef cubes) and truffle Mac & cheese. For less than Php1800 (good for 2) this was more than worth it. We got quite full and still had left over we had to take home. The arugula and apple salad was quite good too :)

Tip: If it's your first time to check in via 4square, you can get a 10% discount :)

14oz Prime Black Angus Porterhouse for P2880! Aged 28 days. I've never tried anything like this.

There's a different taste to the aged porterhouse, I guess I'm not used to it. Not as straightforward great as Hai Chix Porterhouse, but good to experience. Especially when it's free 1285419786128523 4/5

A bit peppery for my taste. Also ordered the following:

Oyster Rockefeller - a bit more spinach and less cheese. Unusual 3/5
Freedom Fries - has truffle oil, 3.5/5 easy to eat and delish.
Creamy Spinach with Egg - awesome 5/5. Cheesy cream spinach and egg was simply a superb and yet sublime concoction.
Cardiac Rice - excellent excellent combination of steak, fat and rice. Reminds me of the steak rice of Hai Chix and Melos but ang dami ng serving! 128551128558128520

Service 3.5/5 - they try and they were fast. But when i asked my waiter how the aged prime porterhouse differs in taste versus not aged, he really didn't have a clue. Didn't even ask their supervisor, so -1 there. They need to brief their waiters more especially at their prices. Geez.

Ambience 4/5 - feels American Texas steak house that's a bit more premium but does not necessarily have that fine dining look like Aubergine.

Sauces - though their default reco is the Au Jus sauce, I ordered their sauce with truffle. Awesome.

Overall, a decent 3.7, rounded up to 4. Not a steak house I'd favor over Melos, Hai Chix. But pretty decent-- especially kung libre. 128518

Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago with colleagues and enjoyed everything we ordered. From the bone marrow, to the salad, the chocolate cigars, coffee, tea, and some red wine.. And of course the main dish. I had the 14 oz USDA Prime Black Angus Dry Aged Porterhouse steak to share with a friend, cooked medium well. It was a perfectly cooked mouth-watering piece of meat, tender and flavorful even without gravy. 9786️ A bit pricey but definitely worth every juicy bite. 128521

Had a freeloading lunch meeting and i chose the venue...

My carnivorous nature blurted..."CHOPS tayo!!!

And so it was...

Ordered the executive lunch set though i wanted to get a TBone, dyahe sa nagtreat hehe

Asparagus soup- it was creamy yet not nakakaumay...was served hot

US ribeye 10oz- cooked medium accdg to my preference, sides came in late after 2flw ups

Cigar ice cream- it's chocolate coated barquillos w ice cream filling,it was a good touch to balance the meal

Food was overall good but service was a bit lacking this time, waiters didnt bother to get our order for drinks and didnt offered salt n pepper for our steak..

My previous experience was way better in terms of service.

So no additional tip for you!!!

S.C included anyway :)

My dad and I went looking for a restaurant that we haven't been to because it has always been the usuals that I get to see around GB.

Reaching the 4th floor, we saw this restaurant. We decided to try this place out because we both loove steak & I was craving for American food hehehe

Caesar's Salad (3.5/5)
I thought that it was okay. According to my dad, it tasted "fishy" 128514

Rib Eye Steak (5/5)
This is for the books !! We ordered it in medium-well. Super juuicy & mouthwatering. I was really savoring the steak while eating it because I didn't want to get full that easily. 128514 Also learned from my dad that when you eat steak, something as good as this, you don't need any steak sauce. The chefs will feel offended if you put sauce, esp. in the states. Pepper will do ;)

Another plus is the fact that we got a 10% discount via foursquare yeaayyy !!!!! When it's your first time then you log-in in foursquare, there's the 10% promo huehue 128514

I adore CHOPs Chicago steakhouse! It's an alternative to Mamou and Bistecca and could qualify/pass for the best steak/steaks in town:
128077 tried their prime rib eye steak certified angus (CAB) beef cooked medium rare 10oz and it was so so tender, mouth watering, and not too oily paired with urugula and peppercorn sauce (but they have several sauces to choose from)
Price range from 1400 to 1800 for a single serving (tip: 8oz-10oz for me is good enough to share since the meat is so filling and fulfilling 128525)
128077 they have steaks 24oz to 28oz to share for couples or even a tomahawk steak which serves 4-5 hungry carnivores haha :) price ranges from 2400-10k -- i have to emphasize that this is for sharing
128077 was guilty to eat their chilean sea bass (size as big as the palm of a kids hand - 1.5inch of white prime rubbery cold water fish meat -- later did i know that it was an endangered/rare specie of fish :( which was worth the price at php 975 damn good!
128077 appetizers also delicious - tried their bacon bruschettas - it appeared leafy with chunks of bacon but it was oozing with flavor!127808 the greens complemented the sinful goodness of the meat
128077 service - very courteous and attentive servers
128077 to those who are tight on a budget they also have signature dishes to choose from ranging from php 350 to php 1000
128077 clean and spacious restrooms
128077 hotel/lounge feel or ambience - suitable for dates or business meetings (not that appealing for kiddos)
128077 dishes for non meat lovers available as well
9995 they dont have a vast selection of wines though but i dont mind alcohol coz the food was so good!!!
