So this weekend, I decided to go to Robinsons Galleria Mall rather than my usual SM or Ayala route. I like this mall because it houses restaurants that can only be found here, and most of them are favorites from other parts of the country. (i.e. Sans Rival of Dumaguete and The Buzz Cafe of Bohol Bee Farm) Plus this place isn't too crowded yet. 128568

I had dinner in Chopstop. In all honesty, tingbits cococrunch time now (hi Peanut D hahaha remember this?) so I was looking for something super affordable but still filling. I saw on their foard that they were offering a savers meal at Php 99 and I went for it without thinking. The super value meal consisted of one pork or chicken chop with the flavor of your choice, a cup of rice and a free glass of iced tea. I had the BBQ Pork Chop and I actually really liked it. The sauce was thinner compared to the Jack Daniels sauce. It was sweet and salty and went really well with the meat. Plus the pork chop nice and tender and was served hot. 128568

I had to comment though that their service here is quite slow. So slow that the lady on the next table to mine who just ordered a plate of spaghetti got all irate already and yelled to see the manager because it was just too long of a wait. I had to agree, but then I wasn't in such a hurry anyway. Perhaps thus is the reason why they put a TV to play movies for their guests, because kitchen operations is not that fast. 128569 Still, I'd come back.

The best place for enjoying chops. I especially love their Jack Daniel's Chops out of all their different sauces for chops. Bacon Cracklings is so good, my diet couldn't resist them. The nachos are great as well. I love the unli Margaritas. Good ambiance, delicious food, unli Margarita, and movie equals the best place to chill.

Decided to dine with my friends at Chop Stop Robi Galleria. The food was okay but the place is small. Nevertheless, it is a great place.

You should visit this place just to find out what that pic is all about! :)

But seriously what you are looking at is bacon genius a.k.a. Bacon Cracklings. Deep fried deliciousness bathed in spicy bbq sauce and balanced by sour cream. This snack or meal in itself is decent in proportion and costs only P119. I should stop because even if bacon is everything there are other stuff on the menu that tastes equally as good. Try their Fish Chops P149, 2 slices of very crispy breading yet inside is perfectly seasoned and flaky fish without any oily aftertaste or fishy smell. Also got the Country Fried Chicken which you can get 1 (P119) or 2 (169) chops. Again it might be witchcraft but it was the same consistent perfect frying going on with just the right seasoning. Special mention to the gravy which was smoky and wondefully peppery. Only better than the bacon was Fudge Brownie Mud Cake, very very moist but held together really well. Very chocolatey and i think they used either Belgian chocolates or really fancy cocoa powder and get this this dessert costs only P49. I was ready to order seconds but the owner offered a complimentary Red Velvet Mug Cake (which was the bomb and priced the same) as I was there trying to decide the menu for my kid's upcoming birthday party.

Next time I visit and if my kid wasn't sharing my plate I would definitely try their very promising Jack Daniel's Chops and all-day Unlimited Margarita! ;)
