It's been a while since I've written on |ooloo. 128569 And it's funny that I'm gonna write about La Lola, an already main stream brand in Manila that just recently branched out to Cebu. Anyway, after a couple of months being opened, I finally got to visit La Lola when J visited me last November here in Cebu. (Yes, lame. It's been that long. Hahaha 128569) Whenever I'm in SM, I always plan to get me some churros but the serving is just ridiculously big that I decide otherwise. It's always better to share an order of La Lola's churros with someone. So finally I got that chance with the boyfriend and we went for some new (then) flavors.

We tasted their Matcha Churros and it was just ok. I could taste the Matcha, but I was actually surprised that it was served cold. Oo nga naman, ambobo ko lang. 128569 The coating wouldn't stick if the churros was hot. But still, I like my churros hot. We also tasted the Butterscotch and we found it too sweet. I liked it, but again not too much. I'd probably go back to their original churros with dip.

I must comment on the price though. It's still steep. And the serving size is too big. I hope they come up with new options for their La Lola patrons that usually fly solo. It might be helpful to come up with something that's good for one person and is easier on the pocket. I'd still come back though. 128569
