Celebrating our first date here after Espie has given birth to our bunso, Klarence!. After 9 months of being cautious about everything, plus the seemingly endless worries, we had to skip some dates as we need to stay home. We're really thankful everything went great throughout here pregnancy and at childbirth. Can't wait to bring Klarence with us in our food and road trips!!!

Last time we dined at Cibo ATC was centuries ago. We loved the food back then and we were just starting to like Italian. After trying other Italian restos around, we had to come back here to start trying out the good stuff! And from what we saw in the menu, everything looks great!

Cibo is the only Italian place I know that serves oval pizza. What's good about oval pizzas of course, is their size. The pizza is really huge for two people so we had to take home some of it. It is made of crispy thin crust that baked just to the right crisp. We chose the prosciutto de parma, a tomato-based pizza with special Parma ham, arugula and Parmesan.

Also tried the farfalle alla genovese pasta. We're pesto lovers (sayang, Kandyce chose to stay home. She would've loved this!). I would love to try out any of the tomato based pastas but my tummy (and my pants) is already complaining.

Cibo serves Lavazza coffee which is also served in other Italian restos. Lavazza's Americano which we chose is really quite strong. Espie loved it, especially after nine months of missing out on coffee! I also loved it. The Caffeine effect is just right for me.

Oh well, we should visit Cibo more often so we can try out all the other great pasta and pizza. I heard the starters are also as good! Can't wait for the next visit!

We had a guest over last weekend and when we asked what kind of food she was in the mood for, she said pasta so off to Cibo we went! A lot of Pokemon players in ATC lol so you better watch out lest you be bumped by someone walking with his head down 128517
There were just a few free tables when we arrived before 7. Took my time in studying the menu but of course still ended up getting my all time fave telefono. Our guest got the three cheese with truffles (no picture, nahiya ako hehe) and hubby got the Emilia which had salami and cream sauce. For a change though, instead of getting the patata pizza, we got the porchetta which had cracklings ok top! I also made our guest try the uva shake and I got my staple mint iced tea 128522
Food arrived in less than 10mins! Was so surprised cos the place was pretty full! Our pasta dishes were steaming hot and the servers politely asked if we wanted fresh cracked pepper.
All our pasta orders were divine! Cooked al dente and with no artificial flavors, it's always an enjoyable experience! Even our guest agreed and gamely finished her order! She also fell in love with the uva shake!
A little later on the pizza arrived! I would say that it tastes quite different from most pizzas I've tried, aside from the porchetta, it also had pork slices, onions and spinach. Not typical but good!
Great service that night, servers were very polite, all smiles and looked happy to work 128077🏼

I've said it a million times & I'll say it again, if I had a kitchen at the mall, Cibo would be it. It's always consistent just like home cooked food & it holds delish dishes that you never get tired of. I love that they continue to reinvent/add viands but never take out the classic plus they never fail to keep their standards no matter, when or what you're ordering. Hope Cibo continues to open long enough for me to look back on these days! 128522

It's my first time to try Cibo. I was hesistant to eat here cause I find their food a bit pricey and I don't know how to pronounce their dishes hahaha!!! 128517
So when I ordered I just pointed out the pasta that I want to order so as the pizza, I wasn't able to take a picture though of their pizza.

Sauce of the pasta is ok.
Pasta is still hard, it's not al dente that's why I'm a bit disappointed.
Pizza it's plain and nothing fab, Itallianis is still the best for me.

Cibo is one of my all time favorite restos but a couple of years ago I feel that the taste and quality has changed. Gave it another shot and I think it's better than ever now!
They've added a couple of new pasta dishes but I keep going back to my fave pasta el Telefono. Hubby got the genovese and we got a pizza patata panchetta to share.
Food was served in about ten minutes. Servers were warm and polite. Annoying Lang there was a table of teenage girls Na super Ingay, irritating!
Food arrived and it was so comfortingly good! Pasta was al dente, sauce was just right (not too much and not bitin), pizza was piping hot too. Hubbybear wasn't a fan of Cibo before but I think this visit changed his mind 128570

Been obsessing about Cibo lately. Honestly, not a Cibo fan since I had a bad first experience with them when I tried their Pasta Negra. But ever since we had lunch there and sampled a couple of dishes from their 18 Pairs for 18 Years promo, I became a fan. So, lunch yesterday was Cibo, again 128514

Got their all time best seller Penne Al Telefono. It had stewed tomatoes, which I fancy these days coz Cibo does their's so well, mozzarella, white cheese, cream and basil. The tomatoes went so well with the cream creating a luscious sauce that was creamy and thick and insanely good! Though the pasta was quite hard when this was served, I just told them about it and they changed the entire thing right away. I was even able to request for a little more sauce 128513

Then we also got their Linguine Alla Ghiotta which had mushroom, bacon slab chunks and cream. Equally good! Thick and creamy sauce, chunks of bacon. We enjoyed this too.

Then we got a Parmigiano Pizza which had a tomato base with mozzarella and parmesan cheese shavings. The crust was really thin but was kinda tough. This was okay.

Last order were the Bruschetta. Oh how I fell in love with their Prosciutto Di Parma! Still the same quality and taste even in a different branch! I can eat this EVERYDAY! Cherienne also asked for the Pomodoro Classico Bruschetta which was so simple yet so good. It's a vegetarian delight I must say! It had nothing but fresh and juicy tomatoes, EVOO, basil and Parmesan Cheese shavings. Cherienne loves tomatoes so this was an instant hit with her.

Oh Cibo! You had our tummies so full! Service was great too. I never had my glass of water empty for too long. I did not even need to call their attention for a refill.

One happy family with happy tummies indeed! 128104128105128103128103

We've been eating at cibo for 2 weeks already and there's still something new to try.

My favorite truffle pasta (mamou comes in a close second 128522). It's so creamy and the serving is good for sharing. 128077128077128077

When in cibo, we don't usually get to the dessert part because we're too full already but this time, we opted for their panna cotta and flourless chocolate cake.

Flourless chocolate was just okay but the panna cotta 127854 with mango toppings was simply divine!! Added to our favorite list AGAD AGAD !

Italian would always be my 1st love, pasta and bread will always be one of my favorite combo. The spinach dip here is amazaballs. I really love the dip, i can't even explain the feeling when you bite into the crispy crust of the bread with the spinach on top of it. We tried mixng the spinach dip with the spaghetti al 34, and it blended well!
The paninis here are wonderful, my favorite is the salame milano.
I also love the pomodoro. The tomatoes are so good that i wanted to ask how was it done 128513

When it comes to quality Italian food, Cibo is one of the best in my book. Pricier than most but you definitely get what you pay for. The quality ingredients they use are evident in the taste compared to their lower end counterparts. I also love it that their ATC branch is never that full. Whenever I crave for spinach dip this is the place I go to! Love their pastas and pizzas as well!

WALANG ULANG?!?!! That's what she said! My mom, that is. A craving needs to be satisfied and given her increasing EQ level, she waited two weekends for it only to be disappointed. I felt bad for her.

She got the next best dish for her, the osso bucco and so my dad and i decided to jump on her bandwagon and shared the pasta al amado - which was essentially osso bucco with penne. Meh. The pasta wasn't as impressive as the osso bucco but i didn't want to order anything more.

Oh and the bloody mary, that's a Sunday morning right there!

For the ulang...

Decided to give Cibo another shot the other night. Actually it wasn't our first choice 128513
I noticed that the menu has changed and they've added a few more items (more sandwiches and entrees). We decided to get a family size pasta and a pizza. Btw, there were only two of us. We got the Telefono pasta which has always been one of my favorites and we decided to try a new pizza flavor. We got the one with caviar and salmon.
The pasta was good. However, I noticed that there isn't as much stewed tomatoes and cream as before. I liked the pizza too. We also each got a te freddo (limone and mint)
It was ok all in all. Maybe I should try eating in another branch so I can compare the taste and service.

Had dinner here with my family awhile ago. We ordered prosciutto di parma pizza and rigatoni all'alfonso pasta. I like the pasta its simple yet so tasty but the penne pasta is too hard kinda hard to chew and the serving for family size is small. For the pizza its okay but a bit salty. I like the dinning area though. Next time i will dine here i will request for not so chewy pasta.
