Honestly... I was pretty excited to have lunch here! I heard about their recent promo-- buy 1 main and get unlimited sidedishes! But, little did I know that only the Shangrila and Promenade branch were included in the said promo! Yikes! I have super small eyes due to my Chinese roots! 128529128529128529 I missed out on that detail! So anywhoo... Me and my buddy Patricia Louise T still decided to have lunch here.

It has been awhile since I last tried Cibo... Maybe a few years already but for me I am always game for some Italian Fix! I am tired of eating pasta lately -- though that is my favorite.... So I checked out their other offerings instead . I went for their mains and did not think twice! I was drawn into getting their Fish Fillet with Tomato Sauce topped with Mushroom. The dish was also served with some Rice Pilaf. Perfect-- sounds super good to me!

My dish was pretty awesome. Saltiness of the fish paired with the sourness from the tomatoes-- it worked! I completely finished my order! Complete wipeout! I even ordered extra sauce cause I am yet again a big fan of the red sauce. Yum! 10084

Aside from complimentary potato chips to nibble on while waiting. We were also offered complimentary dessert- Panna Cotta with Chocolate syrup. Again, a complete wipeout! 128517

I honestly find their service to be a bit slow. From the food to even getting the bill. No idea why... They don't even seem understaffed. I really hope they improve on this. Wifi on the other hand was great super super quick!

Always been my favorite pasta place! They have a wide pasta selection but my default order is Penne al telefono. Love the balance between white and tomato sauce. Spent Php 330 for this plate.

The problem with very simple pasta dishes is sometimes they overcompensate with saltiness. Not the case with Cibo's truffle pasta, the umami from the truffle is the flavor here. The problem with cream-based pasta is that it can feel quite heavy. Not the case with Cibo's truffle pasta, this feels light. This is a must-try as this is probably the best truffle pasta I had. Ever.

Another favorite resto by Margarita Forres. 128523
I love the food here. It's quite pricey but worth every penny. Ordered the usual Spinacci Zola, love the dip so much. Crema de zuca is also divine. I also love their Insalata Di Mare and Penne al Telefono. Yum to the tum. Uva Nera is my favorite drink, I always ordered this. Overall, I love their food. Satisfied customer here. The service is also nice.

I was excited to try their food after reading the reviews.

I expected a lot and I hated what I ordered. This is the saddest Spaghetti Bolognese I've ever tried. Full description - Spaghettini Alla Bolognese. Beef ragú. Bologna-style with Tomato. Fancy name but ordinary taste. I know they just reheated the sauce (it was salty too). The pasta was undercooked.

However,
Patatine fritte.maionese was good. I ordered extra dip.

It took a while for them to serve everything that we ordered knowing that there were like 5 other customers inside. We had to follow up our food many times which I think they forgot to make.

Would I comeback? I don't think so.

My friend and I dined in at Cibo after we delivered some items to our client. I was excited then because I will be able to taste my favorite, Spinaci Zola. It's the spinach artichoke dip they have for appetizers if Im not mistaken. I first liked it when I was still in college. Whenever my friend and I dined in Cibo we always order that and for the first time after several years, I was able to try it again and nothing has changed. The flavors are still the same and I'm so happy because they were able to maintain its deliciousness. In addition to my order, I went for their Panini Sardine. It was okay, same sardine taste but what disappoint me was not the taste but their serving and service. The serving of the sardine was not enough. I tasted more bread and veggies than the sardines. They have a side of chips and mayo. We liked the chips. Not too salty and not too oily. I would like to have the chips when I come back again.

Their service was really slow. We went in but their staff weren't attentive enough to give us the menu right away after raising our hands for a while. Given the low number of customers, their service are still slow. Even the refilling of water takes time. I hope the management will take note of their flaw to improve their services. I will still go back here because they serve very good spinach artichoke dip 128518

decided to give this restaurant a try, because of a recommendation from a friend telling me that they've got good freshly served food here.

let's begin with the review.

place,
the place is very simple and calming(because of its green walls). I just don't like the almost empty bottles of liquor that was displayed near us(it somehow made me feel that area was messy).

food,

we ordered
prosciutto di parma pizza ☆☆☆☆ (the one that's on the photo). the taste was very simple and very enjoyable to eat.
linguine alla ghiotta ☆☆☆☆. a pasta with mushroons, slab bacon(how can you not like that?)and cream.
penne al telefono ☆☆☆☆. stewed tomato, mozzarella, white cheese, basil and cream.

price,
it's a little bit expensive. But if you want a high quality, healthy and fresh food it's all worth the price.

service,
all of the waiters were lively and attentive. thumbs up for that.

will i go back again??
since I'm getting obsessed with healthy food, i would say yes.

Went for a quick, late lunch with the boss and her business partner last Tuesday. They didn’t want to eat rice since they pigged out over the weekend so we tried scouting for a place in Greenbelt that serves light meals. We were supposed to go to Café Mediterranean but after giving other suggestions, we ended up here.

I was not sure what I wanted to eat. I was planning to just order a sandwich but I’m kinda hungry so I opted to have pasta. Got their Spaghettini alla Romana- thin spaghetti noodles tossed in olive oil, fennel, chilli peppers, topped with red pesto and sardines. I asked the waiter not to put chili pepper, he said okay and later on told me the red pesto is a little spicy too. Told him not to put it as well, but he insisted that the dish won’t have any flavor without the red pesto. I was not in the mood to argue so I just said okay.

Our food was served in less than 10 minutes. Pretty fast considering it was lunch peak. I tried removing some of the red pesto but my food was still a bit spicy because of the sardines. It was good anyway! I never liked sardines except if it’s mixed with pasta. Noodles were cooked al dente. The dish was not too salty, no fishy smell, and the flavor of the fish was not overpowering.

Insalata Diverdura alla griglia
Grilled eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, red & yellow pepper, red pesto. 218.

We came in here to have dinner before watching the Rush Concert series by the Manila Symphony Orchestra in the Ayala Museum.

Needing something light for dinner I ordered this wanting a more savory alternative to a salad, which I've been eating for the past 2 weeks. After being a loyal patron in all 18 years of Cibo it's funny how I only noticed it now.

It's a cold grilled salad and it was really good. Very savory indeed. But imagine my surprise - me wanting a light dinner received a plate that is literally so light. Take note, this is my only order. My son laughed at my food. To my knowledge a piece of talong is about 10 pesos. Dagdagan mo naman please Cibo! 218 is affordable but if the quantity is so little it comes out expensive. I can eat 3 plates of this! But I don't think paying 600 for 3 of these is worth it. They don't have a family sized option for this.

So walking from Cibo to the museum, my stomach started gurgling by the time we reached the escalator by Pepper Lunch. I just tried to imagine my fat cells screaming as my body disintegrates them.

And because I loved this soooo much I decided to make it at home. Problem solved.

4127775 because it was good. I just won't order this here again.

My mom and I are huge fans of Cibo, so I was really disappointed when we had lunch here today. We normally go to the branch in Magnolia, but since we had to do something in Greenbelt, we decided to have late lunch there as well. We ordered the Penne Al Telefono and the pasta was super undercooked, there were pieces wherein we could taste the hard bit of pasta!! When my mom called the attention of the waiter, he said it's really like that since it's al dente. We've been having the same dish for the past few years and it was the first time that the pasta was super undercooked, I was surprised that the waiter didn't even take a look at it, he just said that it's really like that! 128529

We came to the restaurant hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately came away very disappointed. The tuna salad they served us used canned tuna. While we know that this isn't a 5 star restaurant, using canned tuna is just unacceptable. 128534 #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

We were the first customers at Cibo on this early unexpected lunch treat from our colleagues at work. This is actually my first time to dine at Cibo Greenbelt - the place may be artsy but there's really nothing fancy with the food. This is what I like about Italian food here. Simply good.

Salsa tartufata panini (grilled) and cappuccino freddo is actually a good pair. The bread may look like it's hard to bite (as it is grilled) but it is more I'm not really a fan of mushrooms but I have to say they're just great.

I love cibo. we had spinaci zola to start, crema di zucca (which is not in the picture), and penne al telefono. service was good but not great. pasta was yummy. I love squash soup but when served it had no pancetta and I find their price range a but on the expensive side. nonetheless, still had a delicious meal.

Good place for salad and pasta. We had spinaci for appetizer, insalata de mare, verdure panini, pasta margherita and carbonara. All dishes were yummy and we've enjoyed all of them. 128523

I love Cibo. But... It is so LOUD in this Cibo, it feels like my eardrums are going to burst. The lady beside me can't get approved for a US Visa. The family in the other able is talking about the deadbeat uncle who keeps freeloading. The officemates over there are talking about their boss and not getting a promotion.. Dining alone is letting me listen (unwillingly) into other people's lives. I can't help it. the sound is terrible in here, you can hear EVERYONE.

Come during an off hour to enjoy a more relaxing meal. Otherwise prepare to dine in a cloud of noise - conversations, kitchen clatter, LOUD NOISES!

I love the Pizza Patate Pancetta and Cinque Formaggi ( the 5-cheese pizza)
I like sipping their limonata with their other dishes too...
Cibo is one of the best places to go to if you're up for your comfort food :)
Pizza, salads and paninis are delectable!

In photo : pizza Patate Pancetta with of course, potato, mozzarella , bacon and herbs.

Sorry, my sister and her best friend ate the Cinque first. No photo for that one.

Lots of backlog but I'm writing this while I'm getting my hair done at Alex Carbonel 128516

I was at a business meeting so no pics- I had my Cibo favorites, Insalata di mare and bloody mary (at 3PM!) Both refreshing. It's been a while since the last time I had the seafood salad since dining with the husband means sharing the Insalata di Manzo (he's allergic to crustaceans) and I'm glad it's the the same delicious salad I fell in love with many years ago.

I was sadly disappointed with this visit. It was actually my first time in Cibo after I've been meaning to try it out. I know they serve really good pastas.

Sadly, the one I ordered did not live up to expectations. I ordered Penne Amado which according to the menu is a must-try.

When the dish was served it was very salty! We commented and it was great that they offered to remedy it. The servers were actually attentive and service is good.

But what they did was replace it with a plate of noodles with lesser sauce which had no tastes unfortunately :( they did offer us an additional serving of sauce on the side.

I think the food was really salty. There could be nothing to be done about it.

But I commend their effort in ensuring we had a good time. The servers were all very attentive and friendly.

The sardines panini was better thankfully.
