Few years ago an italian colleague of mine stays here in manila for a month and commented that cibo is the best pasta resto.

Im not really sure if its still the best in the metro right now but certainly among top 5.

Had seafood pasta on oil and pesto. It was 128076128077

Had been to Cibo about 3 weeks ago. #latepost

I rarely visit this place, the last time was more than a year ago in Rockwell with girl friends. So its felt so nice to dine again in Shangri-La. The place is almost full when we dine, since its dinner time and its Friday. I love this place for their intensive pasta and pizza. And yeah, there's a challenge in pronouncing their dishes 128522

For appetizer we had Spinaci Zola (P27) small crunchy bread with spinach artichoke dip. Some kinda bland for me. But its ok.

For drinks, i had their Lemonade, happy with sweet-sour taste! Legit taste of lemon. My companion had their Grape Shake, which I also tasted. Well, never tried grape shake before, and its good!

We had pasta:
10024Farfalle Alla Genovese, (P310) mushrooms, basil and pesto cream - its pesto and mixture tastes great. Enjoyed the pasta with chili flakes. Happy with shre

10024Rigatoni All Alfonso (P385) - it has shrimp, chives, stewed tomatoes, cream and chili peppers

Verdict: dishes are freshly made. Plus servers are extra attentive. Pricey yet I can say its reasonable. This place never gets old

CIBO would always bring me back to my comfort zone when I eat my favorite spinach and mushroom pasta.

Staff is always attentive and accommodating. Last time I was there I got some assistance in having my drained phone charged up. By the time I finished eating, I was happy to have my favorite pasta and phone charged up.

a German friend came from Germany arrived 2 nights ago so we took him out for lunch. he's here twice a year. he wanted to eat some pasta and this is the restaurant we thought of yhat he hasn't eaten yet.

for starters, we ordered in advanced the spinach dip 128077128077128077128077128077. when it arrived I ordered the potato chips 128077128077128077128077128077 and the cheese with sun dried tomatoes with flat bread 128077128077128077128077.

I personally ordered the gamberetti 128077128077128077128077128077 which is my favorite. they also ordered the salad and pizza which I wasn't able to taste. the pasta with beef cubes was good. not in the pictures were the different bowls of soup we ordered individually.

Weekend errand with friends. We're trying to avoid SM Megamall mainly because it's commonly the go-to place for everyone. So when choosing where to eat? Everyone has suggestions. One suggested this, but we had hesitations because we always thought that their food was expensive. But my friend insisted that it's not, hence, we decided to give it a try.

We were overwhelmed with the number of pasta dishes they served here. They have three categories for pasta, which could satisfy anyone's preferences. Be it all-meat or just vegetables.

We got our own choices of pasta. I tried the regular plate of Linguine ‘la Foresta worth 250 bucks. I instantly liked it on the first bite. The linguine pasta was thick yet not overcooked, the sauce was very creamy and was topped with black olives and bacon. It was rich and filling that I almost didn't finish it.

My friends seemed to like their choices of pasta especially the seafood spaghetti (forgot the exact name), and the Primavera pasta. We seemed to like almost everything we had that afternoon and we'll surely go back and try the other dishes.

Once you've found your perfect match, you never let it go— that's exactly how I feel about Cibo's Spaghettini Al Tris Di Formaggio. I don't think I have ever ordered anything else, and it has not changed throughout the years.

The pasta is always served al dente, the cream and the truffle are not overpowering and the creaminess just leaves you reminiscent. This dish is best paired with their pumpkin soup, which I usually do a half order with (meaning: shared with someone else). That, and of course, their signature Iced Tea brew.

Cibo has not failed in its service and its serving, and for that, I will always be grateful for favorites that have remained constant.

Had early dinner/late merienda with my dad and sister and we got the spinach zola, minestrone, bolognese, and pizza (w Parma ham!)

Everything was perfect! HAHA I was only supposed to eat the soup #healthy but I couldn't help but sample the pasta and pizza.......... Once I tasted it though, I couldn't stop 128514128514

my favorite shrimp sandwich

Cibo is celebrating their 18th birthday with a bang. You can choose from 18 preset pairs of dishes. Pay regular price for one item then enjoy the other one at just P18! The promo is valid from Mondays to Thursdays only for the rest of September.

I went last month with the parentals. Mom's idea and i said yes in an instant. We were pretty hungry and devoured 3 pairs!

On the table
🔹Rigatoni All' Alfonso - a no-brainer. This is our absolute fave dish to order. Mom said the sauce felt watered down and the pasta wasn't as spicy. I loved it and thought that it tasted as great as i remembered. I enjoyed scooping up the sauce with some bread too.
🔹Dip Al Forno. Funghi. Praga - i didn't enjoy the after taste. I like their Spinach Dip better
🔹Crema di Zucca. Pancetta. - dad's pick. He just really loves Cibo's Squash Soup
🔹Panino Verdure. - a bit corny for my tastebuds but vegetarians will enjoy this
🔹Penne Fiori in Bianco - it was just ok
🔹Pizza Prosciutto di Parma - interesting combo. The arugula was bitter, as expected. Pizza dough was soft.

I had a hard time choosing from all the great options plus the 18 pairs menu wasn't in English. The photos helped a lot though. There are still some dishes that i would love to go back for and i also promised hubby that we would have a Cibo date one of these days.

Mary had a little lamb, its meat was soft as dough! 128514128540 Kidding aside, the lamb was just perfect. The sauce was an ideal compliment to the lamb.

Cibo always serves great-tasting food. Customers always love to dine in because of their great food. Service is efficient too.

I wish they'll reopen a branch in Trinoma. I don't even know why they closed years back. Huhu. Cibo will always be l10084️ve.

Elementary days gala means spending an hour or two walking around G4 or Shangrila mall then having a quick lunch here in Cibo! This place is a classic favorite for me and my best friend, Larah L and this time, I went here with my boyfriend instead!1285169786

We ordered the usual Spinach dip and had the toasts replaced with flat bread. This appetizer has not changed a bit since I first had it back in '98 -- still the same old cheesy dip that got me believing that I'm eating veggies!128514 For the mains, we ordered the beef tenderloin with rosemary and garlic topped with burrata caprese. The burrata was definitely a twist from the usual but it worked for me. I hope they keep this in the regular menu!

Been coming here for years now and of all days (Mother's Day), today they screwed up. We just ordered panini for merienda and it took 30mins and 2 follow-ups before they served our paninis. The place wasnt even that full. 128078🏻

The breads in our panini were a over-toasted, burnt on the sides. Baaaad.
