City Garden Grand is conveniently located right in the middle of Manila's commerce center. It stands in corner of Makati Avenue and Kalayaan so expect a congestion in traffic.

The best part of the hotel is the rooftop pool situated at the 32nd floor. It gives a perspective of the cityscape and a relaxing sunset view towards the end of the day.

Booked a Deluxe Room valued at P4500 for a one night stay. We requested for a higher floor with a city view. The service is quite okay. Upon check-in, a staff willingly accompanied us to do a walk through of the facilities. The room is built with high ceilings complete with two twin-sized bed, comfortable linens, smart TV, and a neat bath room. Impressive aesthetics with provision of good lighting.

The Firefly Bar is located at the roof deck adjacent to the pool area. There is a Spanish dinner buffet for P800 per head but we originally planned to grab our dinner at Century Mall. A visit to Makati is not complete without dining at the mall's Hole in the Wall. It is a quiant concept food hall that is just 5 minutes away from the hotel. We ordered Bad Bird's Umami Chicken and Waffle (P350), Mr Delicious' Grilled Cheese (P350), Serious Dough's Pizza (P250/slice), and a scout honor's cookie for dessert. Aside from the mall, guests can find more food options in the Poblacion area.

We went straight to the hotel's roof deck bar for a late night chat. They serve a platter of Antipasti Bistro (cold cuts and cheese) priced at P495 that matches with equally delicate wines.

Our reservation does not include breakfast. We ordered ala carte at the Spice Cafe in the 7th floor. There is an unlimited salad bar for P499 per person. It was an overnight full of eating and a little of swimming. We didn't get to enjoy the pool as it gets crowded 8:00am onwards.

The only complaint I have is the slow elevator service. Another least concern that I can raise is that I find the parking slope abruptly designed. I almost hit a car on my down. Despite the hassle, the overall experience with City Garden is impeccable.

I am a big fan of staycations. So when I was looking for a place where I can stay and have a peaceful sleep for a night where I dont need to be away from home. City Garden Grand is a blessing for me. What I like about this is that is actually at the center of Makati where you can be close to anything. The hotel is obviously new and has more amenities than the usual City Garden hotel that I have been to. Me, being a fan shangrila can say that City Garden Grand Hotel is a must stayed too! Haha! Nice staff, new furnitures of course and they have this roofdeck bar/restaurant where you can see the whole Makati City and its really refreshing to look at! I was trying to search for Firefly View Deck but I can't find it. So looloo, better go there! Haha.

The roofdeck bar is a large area where buffets and even ala carte can be ordered! We tried the seafood marinara pasta and nachos and yes we had glasses of wines while looking at the beautiful skyline of Makati. Romantic ha! The bar also has a band where romantic songs are being played. Yes, most of the customers are foreigners. But there is enough space for you to have a moment if youre with someone. The crew where accommodating and will really assist you on your request! I will definitely comeback to this place and will definitely spend more time on the view deck. Thank God for a new place to have peace of mind! #henrysintaxgiveaway

Had our dinner here last night before heading to Z. I'm not yet hungry so I prefer pasta. They don't have white sauce so I just ordered spaghetti with seafood. It's tasty but I don't really like my spaghetti to be that creamy. Frozen Margaritta is always good to my tastebuds.

They have all girls band playing last saturday. Yes, they're good but not really a fan.

The place is so nice. It's spacious and Makati Skyline can be seen. City lights are awesome always128522

Those on the lookout for a budget friendly hotel for a staycation within the metro, City Garden Grand Hotel is a must try!

Nestled at the corner of Kalayaan and Makati Avenues, City Garden Grand Hotel is just a stone’s throw away from restaurants and shopping malls and conveniently allows easy access to the hottest clubs and bars in the metro.

City Garden Grand Hotel has so many offerings and services that you wouldn’t think it’s just a 4-star hotel :
1. Facilities
Has 4 event venues, a fitness center, spa, bar, roof deck pool, 2 Jacuzzi style tubs, 5-story parking area and free Wi-Fi Internet connection.
2. Accommodation
The 311 rooms of City Garden Grand Hotel made up of Superior, Deluxe, Premium, Junior Suite and Presidential Suite categories are designed to give you that relaxing and comfortable stay. During our visit, we stayed at a Junior Suite with a connecting Deluxe Room. Spacious enough to even add 2 roll-away beds, comfortable King size bed and a roomy bathroom! Apart from that, City Garden Grand Hotel’s Junior Suite has 2 flat screen TVs, a receiving area, a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, a stocked fridge, chinaware and cutleries. The Junior Suite even has a powder room if ever you have guests coming to visit. The Deluxe Room on the other hand, has 2 King Beds (perfect for my 2 teens), a flat screen TV, work desk and a clean and sizable bathroom, too.
3. Two Dining Restaurants
Spice Cafe located on the 7th floor serves buffet breakfast and lunch and Firefly Roof Deck at the 32nd floor.

At City Garden Grand Hotel, you get the quality of service, homey feel and personalized touch. The staff is impressively snappy and always on the look out to offer assistance. Clean, spacious, and the staff very courteous. I would recommend booking a room with an online site (orbitz, cheap tickets, etc.) to save money. Gym and rooftop pool/bar fantastic.
