We’ve been looking for a cakeshop in Solenad 3 and this was one of the nearest to Shrimp Bucket so we decided to give this a try. We bought Blueberry Cheesecake 30% off the original price.
The cheesecake is a so-so for me. It’s too frozen, I don’t like the taste of the blue berry as well. Pinakamasarap parin talaga saking blue berry cheese cake yung sa Starbucks.
How bout you guys, do you have any suggestion of the best blue berry cheesecake for you? You can comment below! 🙂

Do you ever experience a nagging feeling that something is missing or just not working in your life? It’s like your heart, mind, and body are telling that you are not complete. Well, it’s quite the same thing when you feel like something is missing after you’ve eaten your entrée —that feeling when you haven’t had any dessert.
So, where do you go to hunt down the best dessert place? I recently discovered a small and cozy bakeshop with a charming atmosphere that you might want to visit yourself. As part of (*NAME OF EVENT*), we were invited to drop by Classic Confections in Nuvali and try their best-sellers: Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion, Sylvia’s Strawberry Shortcake and Almond Crunch.
Named after the head pastry chef’s father, Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion is the most famous one among the list. It’s composed of layers of light chocolate cream with whipped chocolate cream, finished off with walnut praline bits and cocoa powder. If the thought of dark chocolate mousse makes you excited, then Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion is your perfect match since the taste is very similar. You haven’t been to Classic Confections if you haven’t tried Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion, no wonder why it has been awarded as one of the best chocolate cakes you’ll ever get to experience.
Next would be my personal favorite, Sylvia’s Strawberry Shortcake. It’s a soft sponge cake with real strawberry chunks and cream filling. Not too sweet and you’ll get satisfied even with just a bite. But a slice of this cake is like a slice of love —the more you have, the more you want. You’ll get addicted to the feeling, you’ll get addicted to its taste. It’s too tempting to eat and keep everything to yourself, but it’s also too delicious not to let the world know that such perfection does exist. Sylvia’s Strawberry Shortcake simply suits my taste buds. Give it a try and you might just fall in love with it too!
If you want to satisfy your sugar cravings, Classic Confections Almond Crunch would be your best bet to indulge your sweet tooth. Bite-sized toffee candies made with whole roasted almonds and semi-sweet chocolate. But I would rank the Almond Crunch as my least favorite since the sweetness is just too much for me.
The next time you wonder what it would take to make your life feel complete, maybe you can stop by Classic Confections and fill your soul with nothing but heavenly delights on M-TH 11am-9pm and F-S 9am-10pm. Who knows, these sweet treats might just be what you need!

Classic Confections will always have a special place in my heart because of their sugar cookies. I love them! I was excited to hear that we would be visiting this place as a part of one of our food crawls in Nuvali. I always look forward to being able to see whats new in-store.
During my visit, i was able to try two delicious cakes from their menu: Nono's Chocolate Oblivion, and Sylvia's Strawberry Shortcake. Both were light yet decadent, with totally opposite flavours. Nono's Chocolate oblivion was a moist chocolate cake piped with whipped cream on the inside, crusted with walnuts, and dusted with cocoa powder. Sylvia's Strawberry Shortcake was equally moist, yet fruity. It had a cream filling with real chucks of strawberries, and whipped cream. Two namesake cakes, perfect anytime of the day.
Another highlight of my visit were of course the sugar cookies. They were decorated in hounour of Disney's new live action movie, Beauty and the Beast. These delicate light buttery cookie crust with intricately decorated sweet sugar icing designs are (for me) the best ones out there.
Overall, it was a highly enjoyable visit to Classic Confections. Looking forward to the opening of their new branch near home at UP Town Center in Katipunan!
