Classic Savory is that type of resto that families frequent for lunch or dinner after Sunday mass given its welcoming vibes. With its safe and standard Filipino dishes, you have a lot to choose from, from dishes of pork, chicken, beef, fish, seafood, etc.

I ate dinner here with my Tita and cousin last weekend and availed of their promo set. For 128php only, they have rice sets that come with a glass of iced tea. I ordered the set that came with roasted chicken and calamari.

Savory's classic roasted chicken tasted the same, as always. Paired with their gravy, it's good with plain rice. The calamari was really yummy, crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. It came with vinegar that made it more addicting.

You can add a bowl of soup for 35php. We tried their corn and lomi soup and both were good too.

I was overwhelmed on how things change and grow in time. That was actually the feels that this photo gave me upon seeing this to the wall of the classic savory. Its just touching that even to the constant change and the challenge of giving something new to all the foodies out there, there still remain few restos the offers something classic at least we can enjoy the "Now" yet we can still taste the past. Thank you so much for letting our generation enjoy the things from the past. A true validation na may FOREVER! #12Days

Still one of my favorite chicken joints... always juicy and tasty! Kinda reminds me of childhood days... Perfect when paired with their Lomi or Ho To Tai Soup 128077

Minus 1 star because a small cockroach climbed onto our table and decided to do the lambada half way through our meal 128547 Aauughh !

Went here for dinner with my previous colleagues/trekking buddies last night. We got a Whole chicken, Yang chow fried rice, Chopsuey and Fish fillet tofu chilli garlic.

Yang Chow rice was probably good for 2 persons, especially for us na matatakaw! 128513 Their chicken was good and tasty as always. The veggies on chopsuey was cooked just fine and not malabog. The fish fillet was our main favorite just because its really good! The fish fillet mixed with tofu and their sauce was pure perfection! 128076

Serving time was around 10-15 minutes, and the servers were very attentive and accommodating.

Everything about this restaurant is worth every cent. The food is affordable and delicious. The service is quick and the place is clean. You don't have to call the waiter twice. Plus they don't charge you service fee which I think they should with the kind of service they provide.

Sorry about the photo kinain na nila yung pagkain bago ko pa mapicturan e ayan picture na lang tuloy ng chicken ang ilalagay ko 128529

After much debating, arguing ,and walking around, my family and I decided to have lunch at Savory. We hadn't had Savory in awhile and apparently my dad was craving for some Lomi Soup and the chicken.

The place was a bit cramped. The tables and chairs were really close together, but then I guess that's to be expected considering their a mall stall and the area they're located doesn't have the biggest land space either. The server we got was very friendly and attentive, dilligently answering questions about the food and asking and offering us his assistance in any way possible so kudos kay kuya 128077

For the food, we ordered the following: Yang Chow fried rice, Savory's classic chicken, Salt and Pepper Squid, Lomi, Wanton Nooodle Soup, Garlich Spinach, and Fish and Tofu in Chili Garlic Sauce.

So how was it? In my opionion it was quite good. My family often eats at various Chinese restaurants so my standards are quite high when it comes to this cuisine, but for the price you're paying for here, its a good place to eat. Particular stand outs for me were the Salt and Pepper Squid, Lomi, and of course, the Chicken128522 minus 1 star though for the presentation beause I think they could do better.

For me, gauging it against my favorite Chinese restaurant, Mann Hann, its a far cry from it, but on its own, its not a bad place to come back to if you're craving for a Chinese fix with great chicken 128516

Late lunch. Coming from the True value/Toys R us/ Rob appliance sale. Went Walking around Galleria looking for a spot that would satisfy our tummy, initially thought of going to Inasal Chicken Bacolod, but walked by Classic Savory and noticed their Pancit Canton being served to a family caught my eye, and boom, that's what we wanted doing a 180 we go back to get a table for 2.

Looking at the menu we noticed set meals for 2, we go for set A, which consisted of half chicken, 4 spring rolls, 2 cups of rice and yes, Pancit canton! (But the serving was just good for one) everything was well served complete with their respective dippings.

The chicken was good, I didn't like the gravy that went with it, it takes away the flavor of the chicken, the rolls were ok, but the main dish that made me eat there was a bit salty. But since we got the set menu, I was thinking, that may have thrown off the flavor a bit. Maybe when you order it ala carte it's better. :)
But all that for under P340 for 2 is a good deal.

What's your favorite Pancit canton Place? Please do share!

Their chicken has this wonderful slightly crispy skin on the outside and the inside is perfectly cooked, flavorful and juicy. 127831 Not too salty nor bland, not dry either. Just right. 128076 Their gravy is great! It complements the chicken well. I'd say their chicken is best eaten with their Yang Chow rice. 128522 Their serving for the Yang Chow is good enough for two persons, although I still wanted more after I finished my portion. I blame it on the gravy! Its yuuuuummy. 128513

Classic Savory for lunch out! Chinese restaurant that had been serving chicken since 1950!

What I love about savory is the unique taste of their chicken -- which is undescribable hihi

When you get here you should try their pancit canton and lumpiang shanghai!

We've ordered gising gising but I didnt like the taste.. My heart still belongs to Recipes.. 128525
