If you think everyone’s favorite surftown in the North has already ran out of new spots for you to enjoy, think again! Clean Beach is definitely the newest cool spot to check out when in LU.

It’s a hip coffee shop located inside Urbiz Garden in San Juan, LU. Founded by Camille Pilar, a former city girl who now lives in LU. Clean Beach aims to promote their name itself — clean beach! She created the IG account “Banned from the Beach” early last year as a way to condemn beachgoers of the trash left behind on the shores of Urbiztondo Beach after the Holy Week.

Clean Beach was just a short walk away from the place we were staying at so we took the time to have a visit. I had their Iced Mocha and it was super good! There‘s a nice balance of espresso and chocolate.

There are several tables and seats with a good view of the beach. It’s a nice hangout place away from the growing crowd in LU. Plus the baristas manning the coffee bar are super friendly.

And in line with their vision of promoting clean beaches all over the Philippines, they have this thing going on where you grab a Beach Basket, fill it up with trash or plastic bottles you can find at the beach, a full basket and you’ll get a free “Beach Cleanup Iced Tea”. Yes? See you here! 974997499749
