When visiting Cebu, make it a point to add "eat lechon" in your to-do list. Long before my trip to Cebu, I've been curious about which place in Cebu offers the best lechon that I've spent hours online reading blogs about it. I came across 3 blogs, one of which listed CnT Lechon as top pick, while it was still among the top 7 or 10 in the other 2 blogs. It was not until my last day in Cebu that I can finally attest to their verdicts. Right before checking out, I googled where to find the nearest CnT lechon branch and results revealed this branch near SM City Cebu. Since I didn't know which jeepney to board, we hailed a taxi instead. And boy, the nearest branch is not near at all. 128530 Plus the traffic situation in Cebu is starting to get heavy by early lunch time.

We reached the place and saw CnT Lechon painted in a 2-storey building. But the place didn't look like a restaurant from the outside. We thought we went at the wrong place, and worse that the place has been locked down. Ang malas naman pag nagkataon. We came across a Manong and asked where CnT lechon is, pointed to the parking leading to a ramp, and told us that the resto indeed is on the 2nd level. Ughh, finally!

It was a weekend, expect the worst...looong line of customers waiting for their number to be called. I can still remember we were holding number 98, and they were still serving customer no. 60s. It was a little before 12 noon. We have a flight to catch. How looong do we wait for our plate of lechon? Huhu. I was hopeless.

While Kev was patiently waiting in line, I looked for a table, dropped our bags, sit and sighed. The place, although spacious needs a lot of improvement. No exhaust fan and had limited industrial fans. Para kang nilelechon sa init while waiting. 128553 Hahaha!

Around 12:30 PM, I approached Kev and we were already 4th in line to be served. I took this photo sabay lunok. Maaan, that grease goes to show how juicy the lechon is! I must say, 1/4 kilo for 2 persons would be enough. More than that would give you the umay factor, and worse kill you hahaha! I think it's Php 120 pesos for 1/4 kilo. Not baaad! But if ever I go back to Cebu again, might as well try other names in the list like Rico's, Zubuchon, and the one in Carcar.

In your opinion, which has the best tasting lechon in Cebu?

Visit in Cebu is not complete without eating in CNT their lechon is really different from the others specially dip the spicy vinegar. The place need to reinvent its too hot can't concentrate eating much bcoz of sweating staff are not that friendly I was informed they have branch in ayala center i think i will go there instead of the original place but lenchon is great saving the best for last. Till next time Cebu.

When you're planning to visit Cebu, add 'eat lechon' on your list. Try to visit Cnt across SM City, their price is cheaper rather than their stores located at the malls. Be sure to be in the line before 5pm to get your tummy the taste of Cebuano lechon. The place also has a parking space. Oink! Oink!

Legit litson cebu! And real cheap too at 120 pero 1/4 kilo serving - thats a whole plate full for two. They also serve really good balbacua - super rich ox tail and pig skin soup 128561

Come early because they usually run out of fresh litson at about 4pm on a weekday.

Another good lechon is from here at CNT (next to Rico's). My aunt was kind enough to buy lechon from Rico's and here just so we can taste both. And see the difference haha. Before, I would always think that all lechons are the same. They are cooked the same and well.. most probably, they will all taste the same. I am not a fan of lechon and I don't like the skin. What I would just eat is the meat, the lean parts and most of the time, the lean parts are the not so flavorful ones which is why we end up not liking it that much or adding too much sarsa or mang tomas. But here in Cebu, the lechons are different. Even without the sauce, it is already very flavorful and tasty. But if you just can't eat it without any sauce, try it with the Pinakurat vinegar. Ahh, sarap!! Another thing I learned was to get the belly part since all the flavors from the marinade are there. You really get to enjoy and taste the goodness. Ahhhh. Plus the meat is tender and not too tough and the skin, salty and super crispy! 128563 I know it's reallly really good, I just don't get why they love this so much! Haha but oh well. Again, never ever leave Cebu without eating Lechon!! 128513128077🏼

We ordered 1/4 kilo of lechon for Php 120, which is good for 2 already. The lechon is good and better compared to what we have in Manila, it is somewhat similar to chickboy fast food. Price is fair wherein we shed out a total of Php 280+ which includes rice, drinks, dinuguan and lumpiang sariwa. Find the other 2 dishes good enough. :)

CNT Lechon is definitely a must-try! it's soft and right amount of chewyness. the herbs and spices used is the essence of it's distinct flavor! loved it! the sauce options are local sukang tuba (vinegar) or mixed soy sauce and tuba... i prefer the mixed one. but lechon without the sauce will stand alone. one food blogger was right though when he said that steamed rice served is bland and can distract the whole experience, hahaha! i know pork is one of the food i should avoid as a C survivor but since i'm here in the lechon capital, i just have to make an exception! off to another lechon place in a bit =P

Still the best Lechon in Cebu for me! 128077127775127775127775

Well-seasoned, tender meat and crispy skin. Love it!

I hope they improve the ventilation at the resto since it's really hot, limited electric fans. 128078

Aside from being super affordable (P120 for 1/4 kilo), this lechon was quite tasty. The skin was crispy too. This didn't need any sauce as the meat was flavorful already. It was also very tender. Good value for quality food 128077

If you want authentic cebuano lechon this is the place . It gets busy around lunchtime and they have a confusing way of getting your number for your lechon . Its not airconditioned and quite humid there dress light . They have other entrees you can eat but they didnt look appetizing . I just ate the rice and lechon and it was good . If you dont want the heat and lunchtime rush go at around 530 the new crispy roasted lechons are delivered at that time. Pay attention to see if they mix the older lechon cuts with the newer ones . Tell them you want only the new freshly delivered lecon

CnT Lechon is located just across SM Cebu. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the building. What's cool about it is that it has a huge parking space on the ground floor. Although that information is irrelevant to tourists like myself.

CnT Lechon is less formal. It isn't a classy restaurant. In fact, it's a carenderia type / eatery place. But don't let that fool you because a lot of people from different social classes come here. I saw a man with his Macbook, a Chinese couple, colleagues in collared shirts, tourists like me and everyone else. Why? I'll give you a few reasons.

1. The lechon is tasty and the skin is crispy! What I've learned here in Cebu is that people don't serve lechon with gravy. Just because the meat is already tasty enough. The only sauce you can get if you request for one is sili, soy sauce, vinegar, and calamansi.

2. CnT Lechon offers other meals like their huge bowl o f bulalo soup. And when I say huge I mean huge! Like a motorcycle helmet huge. They also have sisig, adobo, and others depending on the day's menu.

3. You can order at least 1/4 kilo (250 grams) for only 120 Pesos. That is good enough for at least 2 at most 3 people.

4. The women are a badass! The restaurant only has women working for them. They chop and dice the lechon using a huge butcher's knife.

5. Affordable!

Went here around 3pm,patay na oras,no looonggg line. Not mahilig to lechon, i liked it though, crispy not too salty, di nakakaumay.I also had the chance to try the Balbacua it comes with bagoong, tasted like Kare-kare, Caldereta and Pininyahang Beef all in one128518 forgot to say it tasted like Bulalo too, tasted a spoon of it's sabaw and a bite of the beef.I recommend to just bite of beef and bagoong not the sabaw.128514 Leche flan and salad, not ok too, I guess I can make better than that at home(yabang ko lang)haha!

Bought a few kilos of lechon as pasalubong and ate there as well.

Lechon being served was good / typical lechon cebu.

However, i observed that what was being chopped were not coming from a whole pig but coming in to the chopping area in piece meal portions...most probably "pangat" as in pangatlong init na hehe

Should have tried Alejo's or Rico's instead, but no time this trip...oh well pwede na din
