Dropped by to get their choco milk pearl tea, mango vanilla shaved ice cream and the squid fries. Nothing fancy but good enough to go.

Went back with my cousins tonight to try their roasted tea series and also because I was curious about the Roasted longan milk tea which I decided to try with coffee jelly instead of the usual pearl. The regular size was P69 but came with free toppings so sulit pa rin.

Even at 50% sweetness it tasted pretty good! Paired it again with an order of Dynasty Dumplings and Squid Wedges (P45 each) and it complemented our drinks. Love this place!

Aside from the fact that they are open until 1am on most nights, I love that Cobo isn't as popular (and overpriced) as other milk tea places in the city. Their regular size honeydew milk tea costs only P49 and I always enjoy pairing it with their Taiwanese tummy treats for P45 each. I got the friend kuchay dumplings and breaded squid tonight. They also have combo offers which are good value too!

Also I enjoy it that they have good dependable free wifi and it's never too crowded to find a nice spot and just chill.

Ordered green tea chicken and berry mango.. Berry mango tasted like milk with mango and strawberry syrup not that bad.. The green tea chicken doesn't taste like green tea.. It was too salty..

Overrated.

This is my first time at Cobo, and probably expecting so much from them.
I ordered FruiTea, Orange grapefruit flavor with orange bursting bubbles. It was ok, your normal orange grapefruit juice concentrate with a tapioca balls with fruit juice in it.
It cost me 65 pesos + 15 for the burst bubble.

My wife ordered a Snow Cream, Creamy Snow flavor. This is by far the worst shave ice we ever had. If you are familiar with the milk candy Hao Hao or Haw Haw, it taste like that. Very awful. Good thing she ordered the solo size which cost us 65 pesos.

Simply disappointing.

I find the place relaxing. Perfect when stressed and would like to find a good place around school. The milk tea is good. I ordered the Cobo milk tea. I wa so in love at it when I first tried it but after going there frequently, I thought it is too plain. But overall it is good.

Whats the best thing about Cobo?

Its their Sea Salt Milk Tea.

I like their bubble teas also. But I never tried their snow cones. Maybe I'll have a taste of it soon.

Cobo. If you know the term "biglang liko/immedite turn" towards motels, you'd probably think that's what I did to Cobo. I just told my ate to stop all of a sudden and park in this milk tea place.

I was bored and I didn't want to go home yet. The funny part is when we suddenly turned right to park, the waiters jumped and hurried to their posts inside the cafe.

I told my ate that this is such a sketchy place. I was expecting the worst from Cobo. Looking at it, there was no one in the place and the aircon was off which meant there hasn't been anyone in for a while. I ordered the Sea Salt Milk tea and had additional Salty Cream or cream cheese in other words. I wanted to add popping boba but I saw an insect cadaver. Damn. No boba for me. Anyway, my sister ordered the Royale Milk Tea with pearls. After getting our drinks, I decided to order the Salt and Pepper Taiwanese Chicken.

We waited but it was fair enough for the prepping of the milk tea and chicken. When we got our milk tea, I was really expecting something Saw 3 would have but my, it was like HAPPY LEMON MEETS TOKYO BUBBLE TEA! Cobo actually surprised me. The cream chesse was very light, not too frothy and it goes down and mixes with the milk tea without even shaking the whole thing. In its average sweetness level, the milk tea was perfect. It was absolutely a lovely pair. I tried my sister's drink and I loved it as well. The pearls were nothing special but her Royale milk tea was like black tea. The taste was there but it was not too strong which is a good thing.

I was delighted when our chicken arrived. Its in a tiny box plate ish and there was about 7 pieces of it. It was like chicken popcorn but bigger and it wasn't super crunchy. Perfect for the milk tea.

What I wanna say is just, you really can't judge a book by its cover. COBO surprised me and I'll be back sometime soon.
