I ordered Tapsilog and it was fine, nothing extraordinary. I also ordered their Nachos and the salsa is so good. The place has a cool vibe. I think the place is for light drinking because they have limited menu for dining customers. They serve different kinds of alcoholic drinks.

Had the usual Milo Dinosaur and Pulled Burgers. The chicken (breast) with flakes was a first. It was tough to bite though the gravy made it delicious. Place somewhat was weird to dine since the worms, rats, bloody parts were in display. This reviewer can stomach it since halloween is this critics favorite holiday. Overall, another decent resto to dine.

Food: I ordered Pulled Pork Burger.
I didn't like it because its too sweet and messy to eat. The onion ring, cheese, bacon and that pork didn't go well for my taste. The buns they used are like those 6 pcs. buns being sold in bakery.. Lol! 128514 128514

Place:

Its cozy, have nice interior, well- ventilated but small. They weren't able to maximize the space to cater for more customers. I saw some people leave because there's no seat available. 128532128530 No waiting chair din for those who want to wait. You have to stand to wait for available table. Tsk tsk!

Cocina Luna is a great place to chill in. They serve good ol' comfort food at an affordable price. They're tagged as a pub and kitchen.

I heard that their bestsellers are Tapa and Pulled Pork Burgers so we ordered both plus Chicken Strips.

Tapa - 120:
The meal comes with shredded beef tapa, garlic rice, sunny side up egg, a slice of orange, and their homemade vinegar. The shredded tapa was so soft. It's like chunky corned beef in texture but it was so flavorful for me most especially when dipped in their vinegar. The tapa tasted sweet and salty which should really be how any beef tapa should taste. The difference of Cocina Luna's Tapa from other tapas that I've tried is that it's shredded so the person eating it won't have a tough time chewing. Their vinegar is a little thick which is new for me, it's so gooooood! I love their vinegar! I hope they sell it in retail.

Pulled Pork Burgers - 150:
Comes into three small burger buns as seen in the picture, plus a small bucket of fries with tomato ketchup. I opened one of the burgers to see what it consists of and there's shredded pork (generous amount), cripsy onion ring, small strip of bacon, and cheese. ANG SARAP!!! That's it! Haha! The pork was so tender and flavorful. Every bite gives you a burst of different flavors. The fries were hot when served too! The pork somehow tastes like asado but there's a twist. It was so good.

Chicken Strips - 120
Crispy chicken strips, garlic rice, egg, gravy, and a slice of orange. This one is kind of bland for me. The chicken was soft to chew but it lacks a little more taste for me. The gravy was ok. Hmm..

Ambiance:
Cocina Luna is a dark place - literally! The building was painted black and that's no problem. Maybe because it was inspired by some European restaurants. The place is just small but it's very relaxing and it's well-ventilated.

They also serve frozen alcohols which they are known for by fellow Malabonians.

Will definitely go back here. 128077

Went back to Cocina Luna for dinner. The fish and chips and tapa had certain parts that were crunchy. The Coconut Lemonade's taste was somewhat weird. It was baffling to turn on a rockin background music while the television was open (while in mute and placed in a local channel). Fries were average and the servings good for a single portion. More than 3 dishes plus 2 drinks cost P700++ only. The ace itself can never be tiring though. Ask for their password and you will get a pleasant surprise.......okay its greattapaever. Surprised in a good or bad way? Its for you to discover.

Finally ive been here at Cocina Luna
im so happy that they have like this at
my hometown Malabon.

What i love about here are the interiors
inside very unique you felt like your out
in malabon.

I really enjoyed their Pulutan like sausage
and big serving of fries + Frozen Margarita.
I'll be back here to taste their Kitchen cuisine.

Tried the pulled pork burger for a late lunch here at Cocina Luna. It was matched with hot fries served in a bucket. Also tried their milo dinosaur which was a far cry from Nasi Lemaks version but still refreshing nevertheless. What attracted me most was the restaurants ambiance and wall setting which reminded me of Project Pizza's wall. Prices even for the alcoholic drinks were very affordable. There is a small area dir a performer to sing at night. Happy hour is 7-10:00pm as well. Unfortunately the rating was hampered by the somewhat inept server who forgot one of the orders, the supposed best seller Tapa. Still, he was apologetic and this will not deter from this customer from coming back. The place is located in Malabon at Gen. Luna street hence the name. Maybe this reviewer would give a better rating as soon as they get the orders right. ;-)

It is something new for people who live and don't live in Malabon because when you go inside, it feels like you are not in Malabon.

The food, especially the drinks, here are also great!
