after that crazy foodventure trip i had with family friends in Taiwan, last April. and that exposure to the different mik tea brands in the area, I had this milktea addiction that lingered until now. since i really liked Coco's milktea in terms of price, they were crazy cheap in Taipei!!!!, and taste, I was so happy there's one in Fisher Mall which is just a few minutes' ride away from my Tomas Morato work.

you'll never go wrong with their 3 Buddies Milk tea, complete with pudding, crystals, and bubbles/pearls or sago as many call it. their version is not too sweet, though with the milk more dominating. it's a matter of preference actually. some people want a more strong tea taste, like the ones served in Hong Kong which I also love. Most Taiwan milktea mix is more milky, I must say, especially that they serve it to the Filipino tastebuds, a sure hit. Not everyone will like a strong tea taste.

Also got to try their Iced Matcha Tea Latte and it was good also. Again, not too strong tea but can do for me. I'm easy to please.

My sister liked the passionfruit tea. It was good, actually, I was just not too happy about the seeds.
It felt weird chewing those solids and tasting something bitter. That taken out, it's a good drink. I did not like the grapefruit orange fruit tea. Not a good mix for me. 128517

Service in this branch is good and fast. You can take your drink with you while you stroll around or watch a movie. 128077🏻

Dropped by Fisher Mall this afternoon to have an ID printed for Med school requirements.... Walked around for a while to wait for my ID to be claimed... when I dropped by this milk tea place. Coco came from Taiwan and I think is their first and only (?) branch in Manila as of now. That's why the name and logo were really familiar! I think I tried this there before..

Also remembered seeing Jenn N.'s review about the place so I gave it a try. 128077🏻

Got a large 3 Buddies Milk Tea at 50% sugar level. I liked it!! Pearls, grass jelly, and pudding in that drink. It's like Gong Cha's Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3J's. They're both good and I can't point which one's better. 128517

Very rare Sunday date with K today! 128514

He doesn't really like milk tea, or tea in general, but he really loved CoCo's 3 Buddies Milk Tea! It has pearls, pudding, and grass jelly. It's creamy but not cloying at all.

He loved it so much that we are now waiting for our second cup! 128514

Hope they open more stores soon!

Nice bumping into you Julie J! 128536

I tried the grapefruit orange tea and it was good, but it was soooo sweet too sweet that I finished the cup for almost an hour. They didnt asked or offered an option for the sugar level which is very important considering the sweetness tolerance of a person.
