Ate here over dinner time on a weekday.

Ordered the ff:
Gising gising - serving size and price is ok, a bit spicy and lots of sauce. The vegetables were swimming in the sauce.

Sotanghon - color wasnvery yellow and a bit oily, but serving size was really plenty and it tasted good. It was a bit salty. The soup was not that plenty, it was more like a sauce than a soup

Took a very long time before the sotanghon was served compared to the gising gising.

Service was ok.

Second time here but it was my first time to try out their Filipino dishes (last time I ordered Tapa which was also part of Army Navy's menu). Rachel T and I had dinner and ordered the following

1.) Gising-gising - Just a small cup of string beans with coconut cream. It is spicy and really good. Though it is just small, you can share it as a side order. It is also cheap at Php75

2.) Crispy Fish in Sweet and Sour Sauce - this order is good for sharing. The sauce is somehow overpowering but my palate was able to manage it. The fish is really crispy. It has some carrots and pineapples too

3.) Sotanghon - Rachel's order which was not enticing too look at but it is really good :) The serving size is also big considering its price of Php 150

Service is a bit slow though if you will consider this place as a Fastfood joint. You can also cross order with Army Navy which is actually nice ;)

Will definitely comeback next time to try out their Seafood Kare-kare pasta.

Did not expect the kare-kare will be good, but for a fast food place it's quite impressive. I just wish the gave more bagoong sine the dish is for sharing. I also liked the tamarind drink.

We went here before 12pm and it's actually not crowded yet. We tried their Spicy (Hut) Chicken with rice, macaroni salad and 12 oz Teamarind.

Spicy (Hut) Chicken - It tasted weird for me. 128514 the glaze that it has was sour yet spicy that actually did not complemented to what I expected. It's a breast part of chicken and also the large part (Impressive huh).

Rice - It was not actually 1 cup of rice for me, seemed like it was just a half rice and not filling but I could taste there's a butter on it but still, it was not sulit.

Teamarind - I actually liked it since it was my first time to taste a tamarind iced tea.

I gave my macaroni salad to my friend since I am not fond of eating a macaroni salad.

For the price of 195? Is it already sulit? Well, for me, no. ๐Ÿ™ you can actually have a generous amount of viand or dish in this price or if a restaurant has a combo meal for 195, maybe it has a generous amount of rice already. Hihi.

Will I come back? Maybe yes, to try their breakfast meal and their original chicken. 128522

The ambiance is good and it's actually connected to Army Navy.

The staff? They're fine. I can see it to them. Hahaha. I asked if I could make the teamarind to large but the cashier doesn't want to bother changing our request since she already punched it but it's alright. 128522

The serving time was also fine. 128077๐Ÿป

And they let us stay for a while since it was raining outside and we did not bring our umbrella. 128077๐Ÿป128077๐Ÿป128077๐Ÿป

Me and Patsy C ate lunch together at Coco Hut, a Filipino spinoff from the creators of Army Navy. We ordered the lechon kawali kare kare pasta PHP255 and fish taosi PHP265 then shared a large cup of teamarind PHP85. The kare kare pasta was surprisingly good, it works! The fish taosi is nothing special. The teamarind is a bit sweeter than libertea 128076๐Ÿผ

Ordered a seafood kare kare pasta. Which was my 1st time to try kare kare on pasta. It was good. Not nakakaumay and i bet would taste better if eaten with their other dishes. It was good for sharing. 3 Big mussels, around 3 pcs of squid slices and plenty of shrimps with bagoong drops was placed on top of the pizza. Didn't regret trying this one out. Excited to try their other dishes.

Just need to improve as their were flies flying around. I guess because the door is always being opened. I also liked the interior and lighting. It was not dark and bright making it look spacious.
