Coco's South Bistro offers southwest American food and a casual dining experience. Taking after the success of their branches in Davao, they have finally expanded to GenSan.

The place is decorated just like their branches in Davao, employing that earthy, vintage, homey but upscale feel.

They offer a lot of food choices as well as great prices for their good food. Portions are huge and are usually good enough for 2 persons.

Ordered their fish and chips, crispy hot wings, mozzarella sticks, their Southwest pizza, citrus and fire fajitas, and apple crumble.

Fish and chips were good - crispy, light, and not oily.

Mozzarella sticks were ok - could use some more time in the oven for the cheese to really ooze out.

Wings were indeed crispy, but lacked a bit more heat in the sauce.

Southwest pizza was great - crust was light, airy, and crispy and the toppings were generous enough. Toppings consisted of their own salsa, chicken strips, bell peppers and mushrooms.

Citrus and fire fajitas were sizzling hot! Shrimp and bell peppers were firm and flavorful.

And as for the apple crumble, I loved it. Vanilla ice cream, warm baked apples and a crisp crust, nutmeg, cinammon = delightful.

Service was fair - staff were a bit reserved but were still helpful.

Though their food's good, their Davao branches are better though, in terms of service and consistency in their food. But the place is definitely one of the better restaurants in GenSan.
