nice ambiance, cool staffs, and the best of all--- not packed! my new fave hang out place along West Ave! they have wifi, sockets for charging and comfy seats too! great place to read/study, or do some office work or just simply chit chat with friends 🤣
we tried the ffg
127838 club house sandwich - divided into 4, after the 2nd part, i'm already full! tastes just good! comes along with chips and salad too! good for sharing!!!
127837 pesto pasta is good too! though this one is good for only one 128514
after filling our hungry tummies, now we're ready to study 🤓 hahahah, we ordered marshmallow cake on the side, this has bits of chocolatey goodness! plus piccolo latte and flat white! they'll offer options whether you'll go Light on your coffee (more fruity, so it'll have a lil citrus taste) or Medium (more chocolatey, though i went for this one, i haven't tasted that chocolate taste in mine), but both coffee are good though!

☑️Good place ☑️Strong coffee

What I really liked about this place is the open bar they have. It has 2 rows where the outer one is where the power outlets are only located. They have a second floor which spacey while tables downstairs are also cozy.

I had a cappucino and my friend went for the americano, both in medium roast (you choose between light or medium roast for the coffee) since we badly need to stay up late. The coffee was good for me since it was a strong one just what I like although my friend didn't like it since it has some sour(?) taste, according to him. They also have pastries, breakfast food and pastas in their menu.

They close at 2AM, so if you ever need a place for late night study or anything this might be the place for you.

I had a few hours to kill by myself and I am forever thankful for these rare moments. I decided to spend it drinking coffee, one of my favorite things in the world. I decided to go back to Coffee Empire--confident that enough time has passed from a previous embarassing situation. 128540

I wanted to try something "adult" in my eyes. I usually go for mocha but somehow recent events has made me lose fondness for the drink. Besides, I apparently need to nix milk if I'm truly going to go on a diet. Goodbye latte, so long cappucino. Fine, Americano it is.

I should have gone for the latte.

I have nothing against Coffee Empire; I'm sure the Americano was good. It was full bodied and bitter and totally not suited to me. I'm more of a milk, cream, and flavored syrup kind of gal when it comes to coffee. This incident made me realize that no matter how "adult" you become, you are still you. Quirks and all!

So, to hell with my diet. I'm sticking to my coffee-- we go way back...🙃

Brand new cake choices at Coffee Empire. I was lucky to chance upon the first day they had a plethora of cakes to try out to their patrons. I ordered their Pistachio Chiffon cake(140P) They did not scrimp on the Pistachio and the sponge cake was moist. Too bad they only cut a small slice. Can't wait to try their Banoffee Pie next!

This isn't a review of the place since I haven't been there but I got to try their coffee at an MAP event. Excellent cafe mocha, much better than most chain brands I've tried. I hope they think about opening a store in south metro.

Been wanting to try this third wave coffee shop for quite some time now and I'm glad that I finally had the chance. They serve really good coffee and have amazing service! Also, the place is big enough to accomodate large groups which I think is a plus, given that most third wave coffee shops only have small spaces.

We ordered their Cafe Mocha (180php) - hot for me, and cold for the bf, plus chocolate cake (sorry, I forgot what it's called but it's around 120php, please see pic for reference. 9996). They have an open air second floor which is nice. Overall, it's a coffee shop where I'd be back again. Some coffee shops, I visit only just for the sake of trying it once, but Coffee Empire I will definitely visit again. ♡

Perfect if you want coffee + food + internet. Plus points for opening until 1am. If like me you drink your coffee black, I recommend the americano iced (9/10), not hot (5/10)

I had a pretty decent study session yesterday at Coffee Empire. My sister and I were very lucky to have the place to ourselves. The music playing during our stay was light with the right amount of upbeats to the songs to counter daydreaming moments. The big distraction though during my stay was the television showing Game 6 of Warriors vs. Thunder. I had to look away.

We were served by an OJT. She was very pleasant and took our orders efficiently. I should’ve tested her by asking her to explain each coffee in the menu. According to their menu, coffee empire would love to explain the story, preparation, and techniques behind each coffee they offer. Unfortunately, I did not want to eat up on my study time by taking in knowledge on coffee. I’ll just leave this here so that anyone reading this who is interested in learning more about coffee empire’s coffee may do so during his or her visit.
I ordered an iced café latte while my sister got a piccolo latte. I still prefer their coffee empire mocha over the café latte but only because I more often look for sweeter selections. They serve their coffee on top of a small wooden board which I believe does wonders for their presentation rating.

That’s it for now. Take care everyone!

As a rule, one should always taste what one is cooking. The same principle applies to brewing coffee, especially for pour overs. Coffee Empire is one of the few 3rd wave cafès that have baristas who first taste the coffee before serving them. If they think the coffee they made is not how it should be, they will make a new one for you, free of charge. (This only applies to pour overs, not espresso)

I like the place, perfect for meetings or hang out. The baristas are friendly; and they have a wide selection of beans.

I never tried any of their food so i cant comment on it.

Coffee empire is among my top 5 cafès in the Metro.

*photo not mine.

Went here late night as always and this time i wanted to avoid the caffeine so i tried the smoothie instead.

They had no other option at that time, i was hesitant to get the fresh grape smoothie because it might feel rough on the palate but i decided to go with it for P150.

Saw the whole process of making it and was delighted at first sip! It tasted really good, not too sweet or bland and the right blending. There were tiny chucks of grapes which was fine with me for a bit of texture.

Will try the other flavors of smoothie next time!

The best place to study, people are not that loud when they talk to each other and most of the customers are also law students. Yay!

Price is a little bit expensive compared with Starbucks, they only have 1 size for their drinks and food serving is not big though it's enough, but the peacefulness of the place is worth it.

My Favorite Drinks:
Iced Coffee Empire Mocha (light) - 180 pesos
Fresh Fruit Smoothie - 150 pesos

The cake in the picture is worth 200 pesos, I forgot what's it's called but it's super yummy.

Carbonara - 300 pesos

And yes, I am here atleast 3x a week. Hahaha! 128513128514
I would rather pay a little extra to have a very peaceful place to study.

Great place to study during the day. Try to avoid peak hours (6-8 pm) if you want a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Also take note that when its dark outside, their lights are not conducive to reading.

Looking for a place to work/study with a lot of parking slots?
Coffee empire is recommended for people who:
- wants to study/work without the hassle of finding a parking slot
- wants free internet and socket (there's a lot of sockets!)
- wants to try "third wave" coffee
- wants to hangout with their friends

This is my go-to place whenever I work from home. The sound system is kinda loud though so I normally use my earphones with classical music to compensate 128517

Abundant in power outlets and with options to work and dine alone undisturbed on its long counter or form a study group/ meeting with friends and colleagues. They recently revamped their menu and provide more options on your coffee options. I feel like a coffee Connoisseur in ordering a medium flat white coffee. Not intimidating and their friendly baristas can gauge if you want to talk or be left alone. I highly recommend their cold brew coffee. If you are planning to work quietly, avoid this place on a saturday evening. Other times, its a good place to do so.

Above average coffee (where average is Starbucks brewed coffee, black). Great ambience - woodsy feel, indie rock music, perfect temperature. Fast internet.

Looks like they made their menu more focused, which is an improvement for me. They finally took out that one appetizer which was a bit too oily for me. I believe it was the lumpia-like option. Anyway it's gone now. We have a much leaner menu available, so lean that their pasta option is literally an option - singular. Haha

I ordered the only choice which had coffee empire in its name - the coffee empire mocha. I thought it would have an improvement from my previous visits because i believe it did not have the coffee empire brand in its name before (correct me if i'm wrong o.o). Anyway, it tasted the same so doesn't matter. It may be a bit bland for some people who like sweeter coffee. But i like it. I prefer this :)

It was a bit noisy in this particular visit of mine. Place was packed. A bit too noisy for my liking but hey good for them as its a nice indicator of healthy sales. :)

To the two cooks in the kitchen, you guys do know that the glass panel between us is transparent, right? 'Cause we, the customers, can see you guys massaging each other. Just saying. It's a bit awkwaaaaaaard. O.o i'm not super bothered, but it may bother other customers.

Anyway, that's it for now. Take care everyone! Stay mahusay and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Traffic is crazy. Why can't just people stay in the comfort of their homes and enjoy each other's company? Less people outside, less cars on the road.

But nope! Everyone decided to go out on a late Sunday afternoon, clogging the whole stretch of north edsa, quezon avenue, and some of the scout streets in the timog area.

We decided to cross quezon avenue and try Coffee Empire. Parking was easy since they have about 6-7 slots in front of the shop.

We were greeted by one of their staff and asked where we want to be seated. It was pretty loud inside since there was a group who we think were having a blast.. in a coffee shop.

The staff asked us to check out the tables on the roof deck. And so we did. The sound of honking cars along West Avenue sounded better than random people's conversations inside the coffee shop. 128517

Browsed through their menu and ordered their Iced Coffee Empire Chocolate (Php135), Grilled Cheese Sandwich (Php270), and a Peach Crepe (Php140).

Oh man, good thing the grilled cheese sandwich included potato chips, lettuce, and a tomato soup. I find the price steep considering that it's just 2 regular-sized sandwiches. The bread was pretty good though. It had a sweet taste which blended well with the grilled cheese.

The potato chips tasted like McDo's french fries. And I liked it a lot! 128514

The tomato soup tasted like salsa. Not necessarily a bad thing. 128586

The iced chocolate that I tried was just okay. I ordered it since the description says it has Coffee Empire's secret formula of nutty, balanced-flavored, chocolate drink.

I was blown away by that description and set my expectations too high. When I tried it, I told myself, "I think I can make this at home." 128514128514128514

Overall, it was still a good experience. Interiors look nice and the location is good. Coffee Empire is a good break from your good old typical coffee shop. 128079

Been going to this place that's so conveniently located a few meters from my home every week! Love their coffee, in the photo is their Mocha. Their chocolate sauce is different because there's a nutty taste which meant peanut butter in it, just yum! You get to choose whether light bodied or medium bodied and in which case I always choose medium. The beans they use for light bodied coffee are kenya with a hint of tomato in it so i prefer the regular bitter taste of the costa rica beans.

Ohh wait #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway :)
