Passed by here for some dessert after our trip to Quiapo. I must say, the place looks nicer at night. The lighting and decor really comes together after dark.
However, food and service is still meh. My mom ordered hot chocolate and it tasted VERY SIMILAR to Swiss miss 128517 almost laughable at how close it tasted. If Id only seen it being prepared I would defo say it was Swiss miss. The carrot cake was ok but the Mango cake felt like we were eating chunks of cold butter 128529
Pls work on your service and f&b! Sayang the super nice place you've set up!

I first discovered Coffee Project last year when instagram was abuzz with this garden themed coffee shop in QC, when i was in the area to watch a show at the ABS CBN compound, I did not miss the chance to try out their branch in front of the studio. To my surprise, their first branch was in Starmall Alabang! It's a small space with an industrial design to it, unlike newer branches which opted to incorporate the more popular garden, outdoor theme. For this sponsored crawl, we tried some of their best sellers and the Summer Drinks. Here's what I sampled:

Strawberry Banana smoothie - cool, refreshing and a little bit on the heavy side because of all the whipped cream. You don't mind the added sugar this drink is for you. You can taste the bananas and a faint afterthought of strawberries. For 210pesos for a 'Project' size this is on the pricey side of the fence.

Sardine Pasta- 210 Generous servings, enough to share with your petite friend. A little bit of spice, the pasta was al dente.

Creamy Pesto and Mushroom Pasta- 210 This is indeed very creamy, did not recall seeing any mushrooms but it is still flavorful.

Recommended. Evia Mall Branch is a small kiosk only that serves drinks. Visit their other branches for their full menu.

I think Coffee Project is one of the best café
I've ever been. The ambience here was really great and
the interior is a big thumbs up. You can just seat there,
take a sip from your hot coffee, or a frappe (if you
prefer that), listen to your favorite
music on spotify while studying, or reading or
just browsing the web. Or you can just chill out with
your friends, playing card games, while enjoying your
drinks and sweet desserts which is pretty damn pricey.
Yes that's right. It's on par with Starbucks but for me
it's kinda better. imo.

I really like my hot caramel macchiato, but I did not
order that here, but instead I ordered a vanilla latte
and it was really good. (ugh). I am hoping to have a
second round here, if I have the time and money again AHAHAH. (I am really glad that it's just a walking distance from home. nice.)

Really nice place to chill and just relax. If you want all things ig-worthy, then this is the perfect place. 128149 But other than the really nice and beautiful place, set-up and feels, there's nothing else to enjoy here. The "sausage" sandwich was meh. 128528 And service needs improvement. 128530

Coffee project is a venture of the Villars that's why you can find them mostly in Starmall branches. Now if there is one near you, I highly suggest you check it out since the interior is really so cute! I can't name the theme that they chose but they used a lot of reclaimed wood, burlap, cute furniture and faux flowers. Everywhere you look is IG worthy!
I got the iced white mocha and it was pretty good. However the cookie and muffin was quite dry.
Less one star though cos the staff needs more training in customer service I think. No smiles, friendly greetings whatsoever which I think adds (of course) to your experience.
It's such a nice place so I hope it'll last and won't close down because of bad service.
