Great concept, but i think the food couldve been better. The bread was a little bit heavy, and the sausage couldve used more flavour. The mac and cheese was fun tho 128074🏻

Solb!!! I love me a good hotdog/sausage that you can hardly stuff in your mouth in one fell swoop. Am I right, Jenn N? 128514

Beans and Bullets was the name of my most satisfying dawg. Chili, jalapeños, cheese, and the hotdog bun was really soft chewy... Yes, you have to wear the glove (1 lng sya) and use the fork because the sausage is big 128563128523128514 so is the serving of the toppings. Worth it tlga.

Made the most out of the Holidays to eat what I want regardless of how unhealthy it may look. Haha.

Went all in with the calories so I got Commander in Cheese. Basically a hotdog with Mac n Cheese on top. The actual size of the sandwich is unbelievable I don't even know I would bite it at first. Hahaha! Good thing they provide disposable gloves since it's really messy to eat. I managed to eat it all though. No regrets. Haha

Highly recommended for those who love to try new sandwiches, it doesn't disappoint 128076🏻

Anyway, let me fast forward to the present... If you can call two weeks ago the present!128514 fine, the relatively near present compared to the past reviews I've written tonight... Sorry for flooding!!!128513128513128513

So this is still part of my dinner with my cousin... Again we got pork cracklings at Porkfolio (just okay for me), cheese and bacon fries from The Fry Guys (the absolute bomb, try this), and carbonara from Baste and Taste (good if you are craving pasta)... Karz also bought this dalandan juice from Colonel Frank's... This stall peddles hotdogs with a variety of toppings (pre-conceptualized) at P155/dog... We weren't able to try the hotdogs, but this drink is pretty good and refreshing! comes in a cute sort of resealable tetrapack container... Good option to quench your thirst!128523 will definitely try their hotdogs next time!128522

Not bad for the price! I tried the grenade eggs, a hotdog with hash brown, egg and sriracha ketchup. I requested the egg to be scrambled because it would be a mess to eat it sunny side up. Didn't taste the sriracha in the ketchup, but it's fine.

Overall a satisfying meal. You park along the street and it gets filled up pretty quickly.

We arrived at Box Park around 4pm. Almost all stalls were closed. While me and my husband's still deciding on what food to get, we got the chance to take some photos of the new food park in our area.

The foods were a bit pricey compared to Maginhawa restos but I am sure all of it were delicious. We only tried 3 stalls. And we're planning to come back with other family members.

My hubby ordered Sisig Siege, a frank topped with sisig, jalapeño and chicharon. The combination was awesome! When we took our first bite ( we shared our food as always), the taste of sisig met our taste buds. And the jalapeño complimented the frank and sisig. Although I didn't had a chance to taste the chicharon ( my husband finished it), I heard the crackling sound while he's eating it. Overall, our Php165 was worth it. They also give plastic gloves so you can't get your hands dirty.

And... We're back at Box Park again! So many food to discover, choose and eat! This time, we're craving for something savory.

We went last night (which is a Friday), so we already anticipated the volume of people dining at Box Park. We waited for like 5-10 minutes and fortunately, a group of friends told us that we could take their seats right after they're done eating. Give and take attitude is a must here. Parang sa relationship lang. Ganon. Haha

I decided to try Colonel Frank's last night. They currently have three food offerings in their menu. Because you know, Box Park is quite new in the neighborhood.

You can choose from Bean and Bullets, Commander in Cheese and Grenade Eggs. Did you notice something? They named their food after military "terms" which makes their food quite interesting :)

I ordered Commander in Cheese. It is basically a 7-inch frankfurter sausage in a soft brioche bun topped with mac and cheese, bacon bits and potato chips! I instantly loved it! It has everything I want! Of course, who wouldn't love bacon right? 128539 Each order comes with a disposable plastic hand gloves to prevent people from messing on theirselves while eating. Bright idea you got there!

Try Colonel Frank's at Box Park! They open from 3 in the afternoon until midnight :)

Next up was Colonel Frank's loaded hot dogs. Right now, they offer three types of hot dog buns all for 155 pesos. They have

- Beans and Bullets, with chili and grated cheese
- Commander in Cheese with mac and cheese, bacon and potato chips
- Grenade Eggs with hash browns and a sunny side up egg.

We opted for the first choice. The hotdog was fairly big and filling, although flavor-wise was not something that really packed a punch.

We also ordered a drink from this stall. They offer brightly-colored juices in flavors like green apple and tamarind packaged in ziploc-ish bags. Unfortunately, at 50 pesos it wasn't worth it as it tasted way watered-down.

Went to check out this new food park, Box Park, in Congressional. Quite small and was very crowded on a Saturday night. Very hard to get seats as well. Before going there I checked out an online article about the establishments in the park, and decided on trying Colonel Frank's & Mr. Diggins (separate review for that).

There were only four kinds of hotdog sandwiches available. I got the Commander In Cheese, which had mac & cheese, bacon bits, and potato chips. Seemed interesting & it was, but the hotdog itself left much to be desired. It tasted ok & ordinary, was not gourmet at all (the Colonel Frank's logo advertised "loaded gourmet hotdogs"). I love hotdogs that have sausage casings that are sort of crunchy, the meat packed well and does not taste like there were a lot of extenders.

The toppings saved the sandwich for me, and I liked the fact that they provided plastic gloves as eating it can get messy. But for P155, I expected a better hotdog.

Finally! A StrEat-like place along one of the widest roads in QC, Congressional Ave. Ext! 128514

We tried this place since we love hot dogs! I forgot the name of our orders. But I got the one with egg and hashbrown. Dayan M ordered the one with mac n cheese on top 128561

Mine was pretty good! Felt like I was in one of the episodes of Epic Meal Time since my food looked gross and epic (1 egg 127859, 2 hashbrowns 127838127838, 6-inch hot dog 128293128054).

We also got an order of Poutine from The Fry Guys. Not as good as Main Street's version, but it'll do. 127839

BOX PARK info/tips:

• PARKING - you park along the street ala Maginhawa. It shouldn't be a problem if you don't mind walking for a minute or two.

• BIG CROWD - lots of people go here. Be patient 128517

• ALL HOT DOGS FROM COLONEL FRANK'S cost 155 each.

• BOX PARK HAS A PLACE THAT SERVES BEER! Got the Stella for 130 each. 127866

• There's also a place that sells 4-pc churros + dip for only Php99. 128514 Pretty good!

Can't wait to go back! I'll try the Shawarma place next time! 128525
