As much as this movie was #feels, it just made me think about passion vs. love. When you think about it, both are fueled by intense emotions. In the end, one has to win. So the question is, can you have both? Yes, this is the question I've been pondering on. 🤔

And oh, the person I was sitting next to couldn't stop crying. Don't know why (it wasn't heavy drama) but I think the whole cinema can hear her sniffle.

I can't contain my excitement for this year's line up for the Metro Manila Film Festival. I already completed 6 films out of 8 competing films. Last day tomorrow (unless the cinemas will extend showing) and must squeeze in the last two. I am quite proud of the film 'Saving Sally' since I am a De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde alum. Due to difficulties in financing and distribution it took the production team over 10 years to make and finally release the film. It came to a point when the makers of the film would be happy just to release their semi animated film online... for free. But as fate would have it, they got selected for this edition of MMFF. The accompanying short film that preceded the film was also a CSB School of Design and Arts creation. Very nice. The story is quite ordinary as their tagline would prominently state. What it lacks in originality in story makes up with the inventiveness of how they present the film. Artists of all medium rejoice! I love how they incorporate traditional hand drawing with the magic of digital imagery. And their cast is also noteworthy. TJ Trinidad, Rian Ramos, Archie Adamos, Shamaine Buencamino, Bodjie Pascua.

The cinema was filled to capacity during the screening. It filled my heart with happiness to see a lot of people patronize Filipino Cinema. I am happy that for the first time in a very very long time - true artistry is reflected on the genre of films presented. An animation, a documentary which eventually won Best Film, a drama based on real events, a dramedy on the exploits of the LGBT community. Must see indeed.

Commercenter Cinemas is a great venue if you want to get away from the more crowded cinemas. It is a small lifestyle strip with 4 cinemas but surprisingly has quite a following. The temperature inside the cinema was just right. The seats are kept clean. The brightness of the screen was not too dark. Sounds are great. Acoustics fantastic! I just don't like that the seats are easily shaken, if someone bumps you from behind the entire row of seats are affected. Overall, the cinema is great. No long lines at the ticket booth, they are quick to service the clients.

You must watch until the end, it has an added short film. Only a handful got to watch it since alot left. As usual, I applauded for this film despite my minor quibble because of sheer happiness overall not only for this film but for a great year for Philippine Cinema. If only more would watch and stop complaining. Here's our chance to take in and savor Philippine culture on the silver screen. Highly recommended.

Watched two movies here the past few days, namely, Oro and Die Beautiful. Both were really good films, and are a must-watch for everyone. With regards to the cinema, still superb as always. 128077

I told myself that I’ll go back to the movies in December 2016. It was one of the things I told myself I should avoid while working on my project. One burnt out week though, I decided to have a full half day off of eating. Of course, a great way to end the day of eating would be to watch a movie. Luckily, we had the perfect movie, Train to Busan.

I have been to these cinemas before. And my previous experience was not ideal, since the cinema’s temperature at that time was very cold. This time around, I came prepared. I had a jacket which I used during my Mt. Pulag trip. This jacket was sufficient to keep me from shivering like my last visit. My mistake this time around, which made it difficult for my experience, was the amount of fluids in my body right before the movie. My girlfriend and I had a round of drinks in Black Pig before going to the cinema. Since I started turning red, I drank a lot of water. This was not a good combination with an action packed movie.

During a dull moment in the film (which lasts a few seconds only), I dashed to the restrooms. Good thing they had nice comfort rooms just outside the movie house. No hassle of showing a stamp or showing my torn ticket anymore. Went straight to the washrooms and back. Missed very minimal footage. Good job.

That’s it for now. Take care everyone!

I left my wallet behind after watching a movie at their cinemas last Friday. I only realized 2 days after, so I decided to call them. They answered their phone promptly, and asked for my name and contact number. In less than an hour, they texted me to tell me they found my wallet, and that I could claim it at any time of the day. When I did, I was happy to find that they had an efficient system in place for items that were lost and found in the theaters. Staff was very accommodating, and theaters were clean as well. Thanks, Commercenter Cinemas!

So we watched The Secret Life of Pets last Saturday. It's so cute. I don't like dogs and cats but because of the movie, I think I want to have my own pet! 128517128523

First time watching here and I love this cinema!! I honestly and seriously think that this is better than sm, atc, and all the other ayala mall cinemas we've been in to. Plus the place itself is quiet and not too crowded. The cinema is not that big which, I think is a good thing para hindi masyadong maraming tao and maingay. The cinema is clean. The temperature was just right, it was not too cold inside and the seats are very comfy. From now on, we shall watch here!! 128513 And oh, they have taters, potato corner and moonleaf for your movie baon! 128077🏼

Watched Batman v Superman here. The rating really goes for the cinema. As for the movie, the effects and cinematography was good. Actors were good too (yeah, Ben Affleck passed the superhero benchmark). BUT the plot confused me. A lot of things unexplained that only made sense at the end.

I've been here several times but i've never seen the cinemas packed. And star wars is included in my list of movies watched here.

With that being said, a good tip is to bring a jacket or any warmer. I don't think they adjust their aircon settings to the number of people watching. There's no correlation! Constant.

Howell, outside of the temperature (since lamigin ako) experience was great.

Take care everyone!

Finally watched Mockingjay Part 2 at this cinema! Though we were a lil late (thank you Taters 128527), still enjoyed the last installment of this series. 🏹

Movie date with Con M, Vigs L and Mimi. We have set this Saturday to watch The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 2 and decided to watch it here. The best cinema place in Alabang so far. The place was clean and well-maintained with spacious seat and leg room. Cool air-conditioning so make sure to bring your pashmina or jacket.

My girlfriend bugged me about going here and I knew were this was at first but didn't really expect this place to have a cinema at all and I was gobsmacked that there was! Going inside was so nice and felt very exclusive.. What made me love this cinema more was how it felt so exclusive and at the same time not that big.. The first time I've been here we watched "The Last Witch Hunter" in which I was so excited to go and see how the theatre was.. What's more amazing was they had taters! Which is my favorite popcorn place to have while watching a movie. This place was perfect for someone like me.. I love watching or just being out with such few people unlike when we'd normally watch at Alabang Town Center wherein it's always jam-packed which is annoying, this place was like a discovery I've been waiting for a long time and I was really happy we did watch here unfortunately the movie wasn't good in my opinion.
The theatre was small compared to other cinemas I've been to but it was just right for me, the screen was good, sound resonated well and it felt like you can be cozy and not so cramped up while watching.
The only issue we had was the first time we watched, we were in the middle lane and the aircon was too cold as we were freezing!
We didn't get to bring jackets but that was about it.. The restrooms were good and neat, this theatre is now our new theatre to always watch films and we love it! If you're worried about tickets always being sold out and not having the right seat you'd like, you best bet Commercenter cinemas is your answer, will go back here when there's a good film out always.

I really love the cinema here. It's cozy and the seats are comfy. Crowd is quite chill too. Watched "Pan" and it was meeehhhh. Visuals are stunning but the story lacks a lot. The actors were good pero sayang talaga 128532

Clean and spacious seats. Air-conditioning can be bit too cold so make sure you bring something to keep you warm. Our favorite.

Our go-to cinema ever since it opened 128522 it's so near our house that we can buy a ticket at 7:30 and go home to kill time before the 9PM showing. Besides, not much too do/see in commercenter 128513
Clean, ample leg space, cup holders and movable arm rests ✔️ I don't why people still make siksik at ATC haha 128518

My happy pill slash favorite movie buddy and I decided to deviate from our usual movie spot (ATC) to Commerce Center, and it was the best decision we've made!

I love how cozy the place is and it's not that crowded even during the weekends. Plus - FREE PARKING!

Now, this is our go-to movie place. Simply the best!

This is really like one of my fave cinemas, it's not crowded or dirty. The Seat and leg room is spacious. However, last night there was a drilling sound that buzzed inside the cinema while we were watching. Sort of scary at first but when you realize the sound it made, it was just a bit annoying na lang since it happened a few more times. No big deal though but stuff like that should've been prevented, just like some decisions that should've been made in the movie. #relate lol

My current top choice when I want to go and watch a movie. It's not crowded unlike neighboring town center and festival mall, and the lines to buy a ticket and snacks are a lot more managable. The cinemas are relatively new, well maintained & clean, and the seats allow you to recline a bit at just the right angle. 128077

The size of each cinema is also smaller than what you can find in most other malls. This allows for a more intimately sized viewing audience/crowd (every showing feels more like a private reserved viewing 128540). All in all a great, great place to watch a movie in "chill-mode", relax, and be comfortable without the hustle and bustle of a big and noisy crowd. Plus points too for having Taters do their movie snacks!

Commerce center

Inside Out movie with... Myself! :)
I was amazed at how bog commerce center is... After all the army navy is just the facade. It's quite new pala kasi there are still a lot of spaces for stores...

4 cinemas.
12 rows.
Class a to b people.
Sound system is good.
Good lighting effects before and after show.

I enjoyed my movie... Inside out has quite some lessons in there... 2 emotions are the main protagonists.
