Literally a commissary. They sell frozen cooked food and a few pastries. Very small place with limited seating. Not sure if they heat up the food you like from their freezer if you dine in, or if they have freshly cooked food.

Bought food intentionally for an emergency stash. I liked that are sealed with heated plastuc, not just clear tape. We ate the food a few weeks after coming here. I got a mechado and callos, only 120 each! The serving is good for one busog meal.

Super loved the callos. Almost the way my Lola makes it sauce was rich and creamy. The mechado was ok too. The meat was fall off the bone soft.

Also got a chocolate brazo, which they're supposed to be known for. No photo because my toddler smushed it in the car on the way home. I still ate it though, it was ok naman. Haven't really tried a brazo I didn't like, the chocolate was a good innovation from original. Nothing mind blowing, but good enough for a cheap dessert.

One of the owners was there, she was very nice to my daughter and offered her books to read while I was busy going through their product list. I'll be coming back if I'm in the area. Too bad it's a bit far from me.

Another review. Went to the beach this last weekend and since we were so lazy to fix food, I bought ready made food instead. Specifically adobo roll, tochong bangus and angus mechado. Also bought a whole cake of brazo de Fernando. Everyone loved everything! My only comment is that the adobo is so good that serving good for 7 can't satisfy 4 ladies and a gentleman hahahahaha

I kept seeing this place on looloo when I would look for a place to eat at near the office. Tried it out today and definitely coming back! We had the adobo pasta with crispy chicken adobo flakes, pork adobo roll, brazo de fernando and brazo de aurora. The adobo pasta has enough sauce for another half order of pasta noodles which we ordered. The pork adobo roll was yummy! We just got a solo order of that to accompany the pasta. The brazo de fernando was superb!!! The brazo de aurora was so so.
The place is actually a take away counter of sorts. There are only 3 tables that sit about 10 pax. The order sizes are solo and family which you can keep in the freezer. Though the pasta sauces can be for 2 according to the staff.
I wanna try more! Hihi! Angus beef mechado next!
P.S.
It also helps that they have a clean bathroom!

This store is right across my daughter's ballet school and since she was running late and there was no parking avail in the building, I asked hubby to park here instead. Other than convenience, I had a plan that moment 128514 It was my birthday and I wanted to kick start the food binge with a slice of cake. Since I've checked this place before, I know that they offer several cakes aside from their home cooked, ready for take out, condo food.

Tried their Brazo de Fernando which is the male version of Brazo de Mercedes 128514128514128514 seriously, it's a chocolate flavored Brazo de Mercedes. A small slice for 133Php, I thought that this should be good. And it was! Better than it's female version I would say. As hubby described it, there was no slimy something in it 128541 True enough, since the egg white part was mixed with chocolate, there was no "lansa" to it. Texture was still smooth and soft but there was a certain firmness to it. Best part was the "yellow yema like" filling. There was more than enough! Each spoon full was a delight.

What was genius about this was the way it was assembled. Instead of rolled, the filling was layered and baked in a regular round cake pan. This way, you won't get a lot of the egg white part.

So good that my not so dessert loving husband bought a whole cake for me! Yay!

Best Brazo ever!

Recently opened along Dona Soledad, this store sells home-coooked dishes called "condo foods", slow cooked and reasonably affordable Take-away Home Food, owned and operated by Ms. Nancy Reyes Lumen together with her friends Chef Ted and Chef Mon.
My favorite here is the pork adobo roll 128516128522128526128077prepared based on the recipe of the adobo queen herself, Ms. Lumen.
They also sell callos, bangus belly tocho, laing, angus mechado, and pasta, perfect when you're too tired to cook.
They also have on display cakes from Ted's Kitchen, and you can order by slice, dine in or take out. I ordered the Brazo de Aurora128077128077, named after Chef Ted's mom, and I liked it very much. Will try the adobo pasta with crispy adobo flakes and brazo de Fernando on my next visit.
