We ordered their Pork Adobo, Mixed seafood Sinigang, Sisig Capampangan, Lumpiang Shangai, Fresh Lumpia and their Grilled Fish (Tanigue) with additional 5 cups of rice.

Food can always be improved, mom said that their fresh lumpia needs a little more flavor, but everything else was divine. They have a generous serving of yummy goodness without hurting your budget.

I had their Sansrival and Mom had their cheesecake. Definitely try their Sansrival not too sweet and it tasted delicious! Cheesecake is lacks a little bit of sourness to it.

What made my dad happy was, our meal cost us under Php2,200.00 (for 5 people, service charge included). 128077

Concha's, i am sad because your pasalubong center occupied my favorite ice cream house (FIC)

We didn't eat here. We just had our desserts; carrot cake, red velvet, blueberry cheesecake, sansrival and silvanas. Everything was ok. I can't say it was awesome because i'm really a fan of blueberry, red velvet, sansrival and silvanas..sorry.

Red velvet was dry given that there was an icing in between.
Carrot cake-i'm not eating carrots so i didn't try 9996🏻️9996🏻
Silvanas and sansrival- since i'm a fan of the original silvanas and sansrival of Dumaguete i'm always looking for something like that

But what i love most was the service of everybody. They were all warm, very accomodating. Next time, i'll try the food.

Everything was good except for the New Zealand Steak that we ordered which is overcooked. Just order their filipino dishes. The ambience is cozy and nice. We ate beef tapa, new zealand steak and lauya (yum!!!!). Lauya is the sweeter version of bulalo.

For the love of Alden Richards. Teehee.

Mom's a fan, so when asked where she wanted to have lunch yesterday, she said she wanted to try Alden's Restaurant. We were already in Alabang, so why not.

Initially we thought that it's the Concha's in Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road. Thanks to Ruth D for advising that Alden's is the one in Cliffhouse Tagaytay.

We arrived almost 12noon, and we were second on the wait list. It took a while since most of the guests had just started. I seated near the entrance when I noticed that some were already heading out. Noticed that the one next to me on the list was served first. There were two seniors in that group. Good that I checked first before confronting the staff. Shortly after, the staff informed us that our table was being prepared.

Ordered the following:

> Chicharong Bulaklak 10084 - sarap, especially their vinegar!
> Crispy Hito - sarap din. Loved the dip - mango and cucumber strips with fish bagoong.
> Sauteed Mixed Vegetables - good rice substitute, best Hito partner!
> Laoya 10084 - good that we loved how this was cooked. Veggies were crunchy, beef was tender. Just didn't like that they didn't advise that the eggplant dip's not available anymore. I needed to ask before they checked and advised.
> Lengua 10084 - brother enjoyed it, wasn't able to try.

10084 are Alden's favorite. No mango shake, no mango crepe. No mango available. Should have pre-ordered because the food took another 15 minutes to be served. Had to take away our additional order of mixed vegetables, and mom's turon dessert. Because again, ang tagal. Bill out took longer.

Thinking about the experience, I'm changing this to three stars instead of four. Because waiting time. And nothing really special on the food we ordered. Still open though to try this next time. 128521
