Had my late lunch here and ordered Club House Sandwich. The menu is pricy compared to other cafe / Grille. This is the only cafe & Grille near the airport. Parking not a problem.

We came from the airport and it was already 2 pm and we haven't eaten lunch yet. We were supposed to go to Resorts World but saw this restaurant along the way so we ended up eating here.

We ordered the corn soup. I thought all soup based corn soups tasted the same. I was wrong. Their soup did not taste like egg based corn soup. It looked like it but didn't taste like it. It was like clear salty soup with a hint of bell pepper taste. They placed a few dices of bell peppers. Weird.

We liked the gambas. The sauce was good and it was not too spicy nor was it bland.

The java rice was okay, nothing great.

The crispy pata was pretty okay. It was a large serving. I have tasted better crispy pata so it was just okay for me.

The grilled shrimps were large and were placed in skewers. They were overcooked and had no taste. They lacked flavor.

My dining experience here was okay. Service was not fast nor was it slow. They were not too friendly but the important thing was they got the job done so I'm okay with that. Not sure if I'll come back - I might if I'm placed in the same situation again- coming from the air port and super hungry. But I would not go out of my way to go there from my house for a meal.

Now THIS I missed!!!! We used to frequent this place after work.

Bagoong rice which is good for 4-5 pax for only P295, i think... it doesnt go beyond P300 - super sulit right!

Another fave is their crispy tawilis and of course, sisig!!!!!

Chicken skin, pamatay!

Whenever i feel like my gastronomic passion is being stymied by my fear of high cholesterol, that's when I always salivate for artery-clogging food. Ang hirap talaga! So what do you do? You give in to your craving. Minsan minsan lang naman ito!

Conrad's is situated a good 3 kms from my office. It's cozy and homey. Aside from that, the food is superb. It's Filipino cooking at its best. Try also the Inihaw Grande and pinakbet. And for dessert, don't miss out on the camote fries and turon. It comes with a dipping sauce made up of whipped cream and condensed milk. Whew, parang chicken skin din ang dating.

If you wanna pig out on Filipino food and you want a cheaper alternative to Elias, then Conrad's would be it.
