Who knew conti's had a good halo-halo? Well, I guess it's naive of me not to expect they'd have a good one128517. Their version have more macapuno though so if you're into that, you can have half a glass of it! Loved that it's not too sweet but wish it had more of the reg ingredients like red beans and more banana. Not bad though! :)

I can't remember how many times I've eaten here coz' it's near Gold's Gym Bay Area. You know how working out makes you really really hungry. Hahaha.

I always order their Beef Flakes. Sometimes I also pair it with Molo Soup (coz I just really love all kinds of soup). My boyfriend ordered Baked Salmon. They were out of paella rice so he was asked what rice he wanted to replace it with (garlic, steamed, java, etc) He chose java rice. We didn't order cake this time coz' we're kinda on a diet. HAHAHA.

The service was a bit slow. One of the waiters forgot to bring us our water and vinegar so we needed to ask another waiter. Kudos to the other waiter who was quick to bring us what we needed.

Despite than, we'll still definitely be coming back again and again. 128522

Normally, this would be a great place for a meal but tonight, they failed me. The baked salmon was supposed to be served with paella rice. It wasn't and they didn't have anything that matched it. They gave me fried rice, and when I objected, they gave me Japanese fried rice even after I asked for plain rice. That didn't work either. At least my companion enjoyed her Sinigang na Salmon. Better luck next time...

Mango Bravo is my favorite thing about Conti's. Actually, their cakes in general. I am just a fan! What sucks only about the Mango Bravo is that it has to be chilled otherwise it would fall apart. But, it isn't so sweet, you can enjoy the mango goodness 365 days per year and the crunch at the middle is so good! So yeah, sums it up! My other favorite cakes are choco mousse, mango cheesecake and banoffee pie. Omg! The price has continuously increase through the years but at least the size hasn't decrease that much so yeah, good deal!

Main dish wise, I have always enjoyed their breakfast meals. They have this gorgeous and tasty bangus tinapa which is awesome! Their tapa is good too. For the actual mains, their ribs and beef are sulit! Worth every penny. Salads are good too but the wings are small and not really spicy.

This is a great place for to-go or dine in meals. Just be mindful of the time cause dinner on weekends can be packed. And special occasions can make everyone go gaga of their cakes so expect long lines.

Because I am a big fan of salads, I ordered two of them and both flavors satisfied me. The taste is worth the price. Plus points for good interiors and a very nice ambience.

Came to the restaurant at around 8:30PM.
No servers for the diners outside - but there were about 5-6 occupied tables.
Customers have to wave their hands multiple times just to get the attention of the servers inside the restaurant. The guard at the doorway also had no sense of urgency to call the atention of any of the waiters, even though he has visibility of the customers outside.
Lack of coordination amongst the staff and servers.
Appertizers were requested/ordered in advance - 5 minutes after we were seated. We had to follow-up more than once.
Took more than 20 minutes before we were informed that the APPERTIZER (NZ baked mussels) was unavailable.
The other appertizer (Buffalo Wings) was served together with some of the main course.

We ordered for 1 slice of Mango Bravo towards the end of our dinner. Hoping that a SLICE OF CAKE will be served in a matter of minutes since again it is just a SLICE OF CAKE - but alas, after 15 minutes of waiting there was still no sign of the cake... And no sign of any servers again (No surprise there).
I went in to follow-up and asked one of the waiters, and he had to check after a couple of minutes and went back to me to verify my order - at this point I already had it and just asked for the bill and to get the slice of cake as take-out.
Took more than 5 minutes for the bill - which was just handed to me by the same server - who did not even bother to apologize for the delay and inconvenience.
Another personnel approached me and apologized. She also handed me the cake, packaged in a plastic container with the fork and tissue --- But no paperbag or plastic. So, I had to ask for a paperbag and she advised that all they have is a big brown paper bag that is going to be too big for the cake. Okay fine then, I'll just have carry a plastic container all the way thru the parking lot.

I'm not sure how long this branch has been established as they seem to lack the basics of customer service. They have no regard for customer experience.

You know when food tastes good when your entire family devours it before you can even take a picture! Case in point: Conti's Oreo Chessecake. It's light, decadent, with just the right amount of sweetness. One of the best cheesecakes I've ever tasted.

Conti’s has been famous for it’s Mango Bravo Cake.

But did you know that besides the usual to-go counters they have, they also have a free standing restaurant that actually serves good food? When in doubt, and you want a good feels-like-home kind of meal, I think this is the best choice. (Just don’t opt for their ‘filtered’ water.)

Decided to eat at Conti's - since we were craving for our standard order - baked mussels and baked salmon

Baked mussels were as good
Baked salmon was smaller in this branch
The mixed veggies side looked pale and not fresh

We tried grilled pork chop and chicken ala kiev today since we were really hungry.

Chicken ala kiev - nothing special. My wife's cordon bleu is even better - considering she's just starting to cook
Grilled Porkchop - pleasant surprise. It was really good.

The next time we crave for Conti's, we will just head to their Shaw Blvd branch which looks cleaner and food is better prepared

Well, I have always been going to Conti's branches but this is my first time with Blue Bay branch.

I can say that this one of the best designed Conti's I have been. A bit classy. Well stocked take-out section. The food tastes good to excellent.

Let's rate the service down this side: We came in maybe a little before nine in the evening. The place is full although no waiting line but with a couple of vacant tables. As we entered, no one greeted us or guide us to the tables. There are two big black coaches there at the entrance or reception hall but no receptionist. We have to find our own table. The take-out store which just where the entrance is has no customer at all but there were 2 personnel there. They did not even greet us. It's a bit warm where we sit. Oh well, there's a guard ....

Food was awesome. Price, very reasonable. Service sucks big time. I would understand if there were a lot of customers but there were only a few tables with customers (we came in around 9pm).
