#JLTip: their salmon has a good strong flavor already so might as well just get a plain/garlic rice to savor it more. Hehe

Before bringing our guest to the airport, we decided to have a traditional Filipino breakfast at Conti's. We've never had breakfast here and before and I was happy to see a lot of offerings. There were also group meals so we decided to get meal D (php650) which consisted of beef flakes, eggs, longganisa hamonado, salmon belly in olive oil and sinangag. we also decided to get a couple of ensaymadas so our guest could try it.
Service was a bit confusing tbh, the girl who took our order was polite however the guy who set the table and brought the food was a bit rough around the edges. He would slide the glass (empty of course) instead of placing it in front of you (??) wanted to call it out but didn't want to ruin our morning.
Food arrived in about 15 mins and it was delish. I especially liked the beef flakes and I think I'll go back just for that. Our guest liked the food as well which is great.
Can't leave Conti's without ordering mango bravo. I mean she (our guest) might not ever get to taste it again! Ordered it while we were eating so that we could have it right after our meal however it took a while and 2 follow ups for it to arrive. No explanation though why it was late, again didn't want to ask anymore since we were having a good time.
More polishing on the service I guess but nevertheless, food is always great 128077🏼

Pesto pasta, Lasagna, Russian Potato Salad, and Mango Royal Salad for our late lunch slash merienda.

I will forever be a fan of Conti's Mango Royal Salad because of the uber sweet mangoes and the yummy special mayo dressing. Yes, mayo and unhealthy but it's really good. The veggies are crisp and refreshing, as well. But for the price, this is not so sulit but the dressing, it's really good!! 128517 the Russian potato salad was good, too. But I would order the Macaroni Salad more than this one or the usual potato salad. Both the pesto and lasagna were good but Ony liked the lasagana more while mommy liked the pesto. Me? I liked both! The lasagana was extra cheesy, but nakakaumay eventually but still good. And the pesto taste was just right. Not too strong? that you can't enjoy it anymore. Haha.

Service was good even though the place was packed with families. 128513

I L10084️VE salmon and when it comes to baked salmon, Conti's is my all time fave 128522 been their loyal fan ever since their first store in BF but weirdly enough, we don't eat there as often as we'd like to.
Our kitchen is currently under renovation si hubbybear and I decided to have lunch at Conti's Westgate. I was already dead set on ordering the salmon! However, I got a bit confused cos their menu has expanded a bit. They now have beef belly and seafood gratin, yum! Hubby's favorite is the chicken ala Kiev but he decided to go for the paella madrilena that day.
Was advised that food will arrive in 10-15 mins. So people watching Muna 128522 puro senior citizens ahaha!
Food arrived and my salmon was beautiful. The paella was just ok, I guess it's not their specialty. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal but the water glasses were on the smaller side and we had to ask for multiple refills.
Prices weren't bad and I guess we'll be eating here more often 128522

Conti's holds so many childhood memories for me, I'd remember summer vacations in the Philippines when my aunt would bring me to their BF branch and we'd have cake for merienda, and I'd remember my mom ordering a whole platter of baked Salmon for parties.

One Sunday, MC and I were supposed to go to service together but since we were already late, we decided to have a nice dinner with friends.

We ended up at Conti's and I had the Baked Salmon while MC had their Sirloin steak. It was kind of pricey for the quantity but it was all good.

We also ordered the baked tahong, but in my opinion it wasn't worth the price. We were served 6 pieces of tahong that was overloaded with cheese that you couldn't even tell if there was an actual mussel and not just a shell with cheese. Haha!

Experience-wise, they were kind of busy since it was a full house, we had to wait for quite a while. But I guess that's how it really is on Sundays.

Symphony Salad was delicious. Seafood Linguine in Pesto Sauce was great. Halo Halo Special is still the best for me! Service team are all good and courteous including the Security Guard.128076128512

One of their newest meal offerings is the pasta negra which I thought was a great addition and nicely priced too at P180. Compared to their other pasta dishes this was lower. It came with cut up pieces of calamares. Perhaps cut too small to make it look plenty but actually was really just two or three big pieces.

A big disappointment were their salads. The mango royal salad looked like it was done too hurriedly, too much mayonnaise! The picture on the menu was far from reality. Hardly any kani in it too. Will never order it again.

I was looking for a work out meal which is budget friendly around Westgate and Conti's fits the description.

We ordered the Lumpia and Chicken Salad Sandwich from their Merienda menu. The chicken Salad Sandwich is just okay and the sauce of the Lumpiang Ubod is really good.

Service is somehow bad maybe because they don't have service charge. It took a long while for our orders to arrive and those food we ordered will just take a while to prepare.

Ordered their gambas and buffalo wings which were both okay but I wish the buffalo wings were spicier, the glaze didn't have any kick to it at all and the blue cheese dip (Which I first thought was sour cream) was so sour that I never tried eating the wings with it again. For drinks I got their calamansi juice which was way too sweet, and the green mango shake which to my surprise tasted just right 9786️ Service was good as always, although the songs they were playing the whole time were too mellow I literally almost fell asleep hahaha

Their Almondine cookies are so addictive! Think of a creamier slightly bigger Lengua de Gato with almond slivers and that's it! Can't find it anywhere else but here, a Conti's original. Totally worth the P 160 price tag.

Do you see those two hungry kids? The food took so long to serve and I took a few minutes to take a photo. I'm such a bad Ninang. I think Annika grabbed that piece of bread from her spaghetti almost immediately when they set the food down. 128514 good thing they said their prayers already.

Conti's is a go-to place of ours when decisions do not want to be made. Apparently, it is a go-to place of most senior citizens and their families as I looked all around us and they filled up most of the place. No, it wasn't grandparents' day! 128522

We ordered a lot, but were surprised by my niece's appetites. I remember they had breakfast before we heard mass.

Spaghetti with meat sauce
Cheeseburger
Pancit molo
Chicken a la Kiev
Spaghetti a la puttanesca
Linguini in pesto sauce
Breakfast B set - boneless bangus, beef tapa, batangas pork adobo, egg salad, garlic rice and atchara

We did not read that the breakfast set could feed three people and were surprised to see a lot of food. Good thing that my brother and I shared a dish so it was easy to eat a lot more of the other items. My nieces finished the spaghetti but they also had some of my puttanesca. Man, they are so not hard to feed (as long as they are not allergic to it). I share the same love for rice as my niece, Sabine. She also has fondness for garlic rice. It must run in the family - appetites included. I also ordered a strawberry banana yogurt and 'twas fairly good.

I like that despite the long wait for your food, the servers are courteous and charming towards senior citizens and children. 128522

I tried out their baked salmon and blueberry cheesecake. The former was really good! Well seasoned and fresh. The salmon was very pink. What I didn't like was how strong the garlic flavors were in the melted cheese. It was off-putting. Other than that, it was really good! I needed extra rice to finish it all.

The cheesecake was okay. I'm not a big fan of frozen cheesecakes and Conti's was one. There's a certain creaminess to it but it's not what you'd expect in a "cheesecake". You do want to taste the creaminess of the cheese.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Servers were nice and we didn't wait that long even if we were on the waiting list. Maybe I'll steer clear of the baked salmon next time.

Minus one star though coz it took them 30mins to prepare the bill (had to make 3 follow-ups) 128532 Also, I didn't enjoy the salted caramel cake 128078 It was so bland & lacking the salted caramel taste. Para lang syang sad vanilla cake.
