Went there during Feb 29, so they were giving out this really good peppermint candy for free, just in celebration of the leap year 127852 They've got a huge selection of books and Nat Geo journals. The coffee was just okay 128513

A really good place if you just wanna sit down and read some books. I also noticed some students studying there. The coffee is good and it is quite cheap for a grande sized coffee. I ordered a highlands coffee special, (sorry I forgot the specific type of highland coffee) and it cost me 80 pesos only. Soooo for me it is a 128077🏼 thumbs up!

The coffee is good here. Plus they use local coffee beans from Kalinga, Sagada and Benguet. The coffee is strong just the way, I like it. Tried their double chocolate chip muffin too and I believe it's from S&R since I've had it before. Great atmosphere for people who want to study or chill after dinner. You might miss on this though since its signage is hidden. It's beside the Eastwest bank. The pastries are a bit on the pricy side also but their coffee is priced well. Might come back to taste their ala carte selections!

The Caramel Frappe was okay. The ambiance was so cozy and the place is perfect if you're a bookworm. 9786#loolooexplorergiveaway #loolooapp

A library cafe perfect for me-times or for studying. Aside from the relaxing atmosphere, I adore this place for supporting local coffee beans. They offer Sagada, Benguet, and Barako Brew. I have yet to try their food and pastries.

Dekicious coffee, scruptious sandwiches, and a whole lot of books. Who wouldn't love the place? Only, seats are limited. But it's still nice snd comfy.

Don't you just hate it when the food is unable to match the space?

Cool beans is idealy my kind of place housing two of the most important things that make up my day- coffee and books. Really, I am itching to hit the 5 star rating thinking of the concept alone but based on my actual experience, I will have to drag my rating 2 stars down.

Don't get me wrong, I love the place! Rustic interior accentuated with the signature patterns of Baguio, dim yellow lighting that gives extra warmth to diners, and ofcourse books! A wide stretch of tomes that readers will definitely enjoy. But my compliments will have to end there. Nothing special about the muffin and cupcake we ordered. I've tried their sagada highland coffee which according to the barrista is their bestseller but really, it has no distinct kick that will distinguish it from the commercially available powdered coffee brands out there.

I have to visit this place whenever I'm at Maginhawa because it's one of the library cafe I love to go to when I want to unwind, read books and magazines or just simply want to have a good talk with my friends.

We ordered Sagada Roast, Vanilla Frost Blend, butterscotch and chocolate brownies ( Which are not good. Didn't liked the taste and texture).

The place is cozy as always and playing soft music. People are not noisy, which makes the atmosphere even more relaxing.

Ordered an Ice Mocha (Espresso specialty), Chestnut frost (Frost speciality), and Double chocolate muffin.
Their drinks and pastries were fine, not too sweet.
The place is small but cute, and filled with books ranging from comics and novels to medical and non-fiction books.
Overall it is definitely a place for bookworms and coffee-lovers.

For a bookworm like me, this cafe is everything. They have great selections of books for their customers to read and so good food for their customers to eat! Don't forget their coffee that is proudly Filipino. I personally love their Vigan Longganisa Penne. Great value for your money! I can stay in this cafe all day and just relax and read books. However, I hope they expand their place 'cos at peak hours the cafe easily gets full.

Food was okay. With the dim lighting, it makes it seem like a really serene place where you can just relax and read. Maybe they should add some new books! :)

Will I go back again? Maybe, but I will bring my own book.

Ambience is the main draw of this place. Maybe that's why it was chosen as a set in English Only Please. It's a quaint and cozy cafe for the bibliophiles or for those who want to have a nice conversation over a cup of coffee. Food and drinks wise, it was just meh. The ice blended drinks we had consisted of watery shaved ice with a smidge of milk and flavored syrup. Couldn't even tell the diff between a hazelnut and a vanilla froster, as they looked identical and both just tasted over sweet. Yeah, would go back again, if there was a chance or running into Derek Ramsay! 128523

I was looking for a coffee shop less crowded and noisy like SB or CBTL and decided to go here. It was actually my second time to visit this Cool Beans and liked it the first time. So I ordered Iced Sagada Roast and Tuna melt sandwich.

I liked:
- Cozy, warm
- Books and magazines you can read
- friendly staffs

I didnt like:
- It's kinda noisy! It's a "Library" cafe. Do I need to describe what library is? Their staffs should control the noise and put some "Keep silence" note on tables.
- few parking space
- no wifi

Will still come back for more of that Sagada Roast. 128076
