Couldn't take good photos cause it's dark inside (dimmed lights) and we're super hungry to mind the pictures.

I was surprised when I read their menu and the cafe is actually for vegetarians. I haven't searched their menu online we just passed by this cute cafe beside a tree with christmas lights that's why we got curious and tried to eat there. The ambiance is cozy and you'd feel guilty for being noisy. Or maybe because we are one of the last customers.

We ordered tofu burger with sweet potato fries and spinach lasagna. Sounds good, huh? Both guilty-pleasure food but you'll feel less guilt cause it's vegetables anyway plus you can choose for the bread if you want it gluten-free and the like all for health buff peeps 128523 i just love the idea of eating less deadly food and still enjoy the taste of a lasagna and burger. Ugghh yum!

Right after dinner, instead of looking for a place somewhere else and worry about parking space + since this is just beside Aristocrat, I suggested we have some dessert here.

I remember reading good reviews about this place but didn't know that they also serve good cakes and other dessert options.

The place is occupying the corner of the street. From the outside, the look of the place, the signage somehow gives you the idea that it's an organic heathy restaurant. Green, white, leaves, trees and woods. Very mother nature-y. When you go inside, the place is just small, kinda weird at first. Very quiet and vintage-y? I don't know basta not the usual restaurants. But once you get to see the whole place, it's actually nice. It's dark inside but not the creepy kind. Perfect for chill nights or heathy special dates. 128513

We asked for their 2 bestselling cakes and ordered both. Our server suggested Banoffee Pie (P185/slice) and Salted Caramel Chocolate Torte (P190/slice).

Tasted the Banoffee Pie first and wow, IT WAS GOOD!! Probably the best (and healthiest) I have ever had. I LOOOOVED LOVED THIS PIE!! So good! I swear!!!!! 128525128076🏼

The salted caramel was good too but had the weird taste maybe because of the "healthy" ingredients they used to replace the not so nice ingredients like sugar and flour?

Service was just okay. One staff was really really really nice but the others (the girl manager or owner?) was snob and mukhang mataray. 128529

But I want to go back and try their food. I can really see myself enjoying the food here. 128525128525128525128525128525

2nd time here
As a former vegetarian/ vegan. I'm glad that there is a great option for vegetarian food. I like the eclectic menu of Asian and European which gives diners more choices.
The place itself is small very charming.
We were a party of 12 and we ordered so much food. The stand out was the vegetable dumplings and my wife's stir fried soy tofu.
Will definitely be back

A has been telling me that there’s this good vegetarian restaurant along Jupiter street in Makati. I never really bothered to visit the place right away as I’m not vegetarian and I was going crazy with the number of restaurants popping here and there in Kapitolyo. But I guess I was fated to visit the said vegetarian restaurant when I went to Mystery Manila the second time around.

Hello, Corner Tree Café.

The quaint café is located at a corner hence its name. The place is pretty small too and could accommodate perhaps 20 people maximum.

J and her friends were already there when I arrived. I then hurriedly ordered as we only have less than an hour to go to Mystery Manila. I went with Vegetable Dumpling (PHP150), Spinach and Mushroom Lasagna (PHP445), Chocolate Mousse with Dark Toblerone (PHP220) and a glass of Organic Lemongrass Iced Tea (PHP99).

Service was slow. I waited for over 20 minutes before my first dish arrived.

The vegetable dumplings were your usual siomai only it had no pork in it. Instead, it had shiitake mushrooms, spinach, carrots and jicama or Mexican turnip. It was actually good and a great way to start your meal as it wasn’t that heavy.

The lasagna was good too. Stuffed with spinach, roasted bell pepper, mushroom and three different kinds of cheese, this is a must order dish! Plus, the tangy tomato sauce was divine. (Biased here as I love tomatoes… a lot!)

I loved my dessert! The Corner Tree Café made use of French cream and Felchlin Couveture chocolate to create the chocolate mousse. It was slightly pricey for the serving but definitely worth it. It was odd though that the dessert wasn’t that cold.

I will visit this place again but most likely on a day I am not in a hurry.

Awesome customer service from Jopay and Jofee.

Cakes and pies were stupendous and so was the dark chocolate vegan ice cream!

Enjoyed the falafel sandwich too!

I've passed by this location a couple of times before when I was in the neighborhood. I've heard generally good things about this place from my friends so I decided to give the place a try.

Corner Tree Cafe has a constantly revolving menu, but fret not, because everything here is crafted to perfection reminiscent of your mother's kitchen, with an environment just as peaceful and loving.

Every morsel here is seasoned to impress diners. They have managed to combine the best flavours of both Filipino and Western cuisines to create an extraordinary fare equally palatable to everyone. The Quinoa and Mediterranean salads are my favorite! The Quinoa salad has organic greens, grilled asparagus, and feta cheese. Everything was fairly light and not heavy tasting, which is good, considering how much they heap onto your plate.

The Thai Veg Curry was AMAZING and paired great with the Vegan Verde Toast (Vegan pesto olive oil, olives, and capers baked on a Cibatta bread). The best part is that they have managed to make the food light and non greasy while still retaining the taste, making this a perfect place to hit up for lunch.

Corner Tree Cafe is a true hidden gem, nestled in Makati City. This unassuming restaurant offers top notch healthy food made with love at prices fit for a pauper's wallet. This is a great place to go for a date, lunch on the go, or just to relax from the heat. It's a wonderful experience for anyone wishing to escape the bustling streets of Makati and enjoy some vegan, gluten-free, organic, and vegetarian grub.

Cheers
Mickey

Dont get me wrong, i think the food is really great (it's actually the first time i've liked a vegan restaurant coz im a meat lover) - BUT SERVICE WAS REALLY BAD.

Im not sure if today was just not a good day for the servers, but nonetheless, they should have proper manners/customer etiquette when dealing with their guests. They werent that accommodating and the server keep getting the orders wrong. Then when we asked if we could get a spoon, the ate said "Ano pa kailangan niyo?" (In an irritated manner, seemingly impatient to cater to us)

Anyway, we ordered arroz ala cubana and the bibimbap (which js really good) but i dont think id come back again for that due to the service. (Sorry, not sorry, but im really particular about service)

I never got to try their dishes here. It was a "just desserts" kinda day for me and my colleagues then before we headed off to our team bonding activity. Tried their Chocolate Mousse with Dark Toblerone since it kinda intrigued me then. The description on their menu said that it would keep me wanting back for more. Matignan nga...

When those two scoops of seemingly chocolate ice cream was served, boy was it good! I then wanted for more bites. 128517 Topped with almond bits, each bite was creamy yet not sweet. Just the right sweet notes to yes, keep you coming back for more. I paired it with their latte which went nicely with my chosen dessert. I would definitely go back here not only for their desserts but also to try their vegetarian offers. 127807128523127811

I cannot put into words how delicious that burger was.

PHP 355 - tofu walnut vegan burger with a side of sweet potato fries

It was hearty, tasty, light and FULL of nutritious goodness. I would splurge on that burger all the time. That's how much I liked it :)

Give this place a go guys :)

Right after a rejuvenating anti-gravity yoga workout, we felt so energized and ready to eat meat. We already had a coffee place for merienda in mind, Commune. In contrast to our first thought of pigging-out for lunch, Corner Tree popped in my head (since we're already in Makati area).

Overload of healthy good food! We have the Greek Spinach Filo Triangles for just P275, the Teriyaki Tofu with Asparagus and Shitake Mushrooms P280, and Veggie Bibimbap P315 for rice, and Spinach and Mushroom Lasagna P395.

The triangles with cheese were delicious especially served fresh!
For those who dislike eating tofu, this might change your mind given the sweet sauce together with organic red rice. Bibimbap was a bit spicy but you'll appreciate veggies more with how rich it tasted even without meat. The lasagna was just as good! 9786

You know the feeling of being full from a meal but feeling satisfied as well? This certainly was a good one!

With the quality of vegetarian food such as this, I wouldn't mind converting! 128521128525

Loo loo community, I need your support on March 1!! Visit Tip Top at Rockwell Tent! Who doesn't want to see me right? Hahaha kiddin.

Trixia C Suzette C Girls!! Please goo too!! If you are freee!

Sorry for the plug but here's the review.

We went there just before dinner to have snack. My mom, the occasional OC, said that the place was not that clean but we insisted that it's worth it because of the food.

We have the Spinach triangles (again), Lasagna, Walnut Burger with Sweet Potato fries and Tomato Soup. Nothing really stood out for me that day, which I found unusual.

I'll still come back though!
