A gem in itself, Diamond Hotel's buffet resto serves a delectable variety of food selections ranging from Oriental to more Western tastes. Whether it is Chinese, Japanese, European, or even Indian that one craves, this place definitely has something to offer to almost every guest. Service is above excellent, not to mention the efficiency and hospitality of the staff as well as the food's freshness. Price may be quite steep, plus the dining area may not be as big as one may expect.

We called the restau and asked for the buffet menu, its seafood night and they have lobsters, so we made reservation and when we arrived in the restau to our assigned seat I went ro the buffet table to start, i asked for the lobster and they told me that there will be no lobsters for tonight. Instead, large fresh water shrimps, only to find out that the so called large freshwater shrimps are just plain SUGPO. I did not choose that buffet restau just to eat diff kinds of shrimps. Limited choices of seafoods. And the price is much higher compared to regular themed nights. Waste of money.

Had dinner buffet, the japanese section was good, the hakaw dimsum was dry, skin disintegrated. The roast beef was dry, tough and rubbery. A let down

Although they offer buffet, me and my sister opted for ala carte order since it was dinner, and there is no steak at the buffet 128514

What we ordered:

Burger-house specialty i think. It's okay and the serving is good!
Maki- i told my sister that i'll have everything with shrimp on top but it was too spicy for me 128557 it's red because it's chili powder! Karma strikes for me haha! (In the photo)
Lasagna-wasn't able to eat this because too full from the burger and maki. We had it to-go and I ate it cold the next morning (im a fan of cold pizza and pasta, do not judge). It's too salty for me. But the garlic bread is so good!

we also ordered french macarons. good but nothing special.

We were doing some business at the adjacent Lanbank and had no choice but to eat here for lunch as there were no decent nearby restos thus CORNICHE it is.

Visited this place many times in the past and it never changed...

Food were cold or bland

Stations were unmanned

Service was slow

Choices were limited

Price is expensive...Paid P10k for 5pax..

Not worth it in my opinion even if i eat for free

My personal favorites are their steaks, salmon sashimi, tempura and of course, their whole dessert spread. They've got really impressive dessert choices like baked cheesecake ice cream, macarons and yummy cakes from their own pastry shop. Worth the money if you eat a lot. Don't bother going here if you're not a fan of Japanese food and sweets.

They get the best award for FALSE ADVERTISING! I guess they save their best for the press!

They featured the famous chef of Pepitas Kitchen for their Feast from the Filipino Kitchen themed buffet this june 3 to 14, 2015. I just ate there last night from 7-9pm.

Of course as how some restaurants do, they only serve everything when the press/bloggers are there.

Missing on the buffet were Salted Egg Shrimps, Balut Salpicao, Crab in Aligue, The Bone Marrow, One kind of Lechon, A Good Warm lechon, Goto with Foie Gras and the Super Suman. Talk about not getting what you pay for!

All the dishes I mentioned were posted all week via instagram by food bloggers and pepitaskitchen themselves. Except for the lechon and the goto, those dishes were never there. However, only two out of the three kinds of lechon were there. Furthermore, those kinds of lechons should NOT have even been there because they can't be called stuffed lechons but rather SEBO LECHON! They were cold, fatty and out of stuffing! What a waste of what could have been a delicious dish! They didn't even have the decency to replace or refill it with a fresh one during the whole 2 hours we stayed there! It's the same thing with Foie Gras Goto! If you want it with foie gras, suffer eating it with a cold goto! Then after all those foie gras have been eaten, well too bad for you, because they didn't refill it anymore!

So congratulations!! You just won the Best False Advertising Award! I'm never eating here again! Fooled me twice already (lobster buffet a few years back)!

I've been here a few times for breakfast (as part of an overnight stay) and brunch or lunch (not part of an overnight stay). Each visit left me content - their selection is not as wide/varied as some others (such as Spiral) but I knew that going in. What they lack in quantity however, they make up for in quantity. I'm usually pretty happy with the starters especially the cheese and cold cuts, and their soup selection is always quite good. They also usually have a roast section where I can get roast beef, lechon, etc. The piece de resistance is always the dessert section, particularly the chocolates and cakes. They also have halo-halo and a selection of ice cream flavours.

Another plus point: One time I wasn't too happy with the roast beef I got as I found it a bit tough. The waitress noticed I'd left it on my plate and asked if I was happy with the roast beef. When I said I thought it was a bit tough, she offered to take the plate away and come back with a new (better/softer) slice. Great service.

We were expecting something special for our Sunday lunch at Corniche. Our last visit to this place was about two years ago and I remember that they used to have a pretty impressive buffet spread.

For today's lunch, I skipped the appetizer and salad stations since nothing really stood out in the selection for me. The food highlights for me were the shrimp tempura, baked salmon, grilled salmon and tuna, the french macarons, chocolate truffles and the passionfruit and the cheesecake ice cream.

They offered crabs, prawns and mussels too. The supposed carving station had stuffed pork belly but it wasn't really that good. The Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Filipino stations each offered a few items but nothing really memorable. The buffet comes with free coffee and tea which goes well with the happy dessert station selection.

The place is not crowded and it's kind of relaxing to dine in here. I hope they'd re-evaluate their food selection so we'd consider coming back again.

Was surprisingly pleased with this buffet. Only a few people were dining here so I thought it might not be that great! I was wrong! Everything was delicious and there were a lot of food choice selections for dinner. There are more choices for dinner than breakfast but I still enjoyed my buffet experience here!

For breakfast, I love how they cook their bacon, sooo good, not too crispy not too soft. The bread spread made me so happy! Everything was delicious I ate everything! Juices are part of the breakfast buffet spread.

I like their dinner spread too. Love the Japanese section I think I stayed there for the most part of the night.

The best part was the ice cream! Everything was so good! Te ice cream is out of this world! I suggest you try the salted caramel and the cheesecake! My God I have never tasted such creamy ice cream ever. I cannot get enough of their ice cream! I will definitely go back here!! 128522128151

Their buffet is underrated and I think they deserve more love!

Thank God for GCs and birthday dinners, so that I wouldn't have to pay for buffet service. (Dinner rate is at approximately PhP2,500.00, excluding drinks. Coffee and hot tea are complimentary.)

Tonight's buffet menu was underwhelming to past spreads this place has laid out. Their salad bar, Japanese corner, and dessert station remain consistent, though.

Their cream of broccoli and roasted porcetta (pork belly) which my father and brother helped themselves seemed too salty for my taste. My mother and I got our respective servings of salmon with dill sauce and roasted vegetables which were delicious. Also had mixed greens in blue cheese dressing, fresh sashimi, and a very small portion of oxtail kare-kare (peanut stew) to taste.

My MOB (main order of business) at Corniche, however, is their ice cream scooping station. I've always loved their chocolate and vanilla flavors; and was able to sample their take at cheesecake, mocha, and salted caramel tonight, too (see picture).

Nice ambiance. Buffet menu wasnt as many as Spiral or Circles but it was more than enough for me.
I kept coming back to their Japanese section and get a refill of sukiyaki.
Their line up of dessert was ok particularly the ice cream section.

dad's birthday celebration. Ate here for their breakfast buffet.
Cake on the right was Purple Oven Cake Pistacio Stardust

Limited options for breakfast, I only ate bacon. 128078 Others were mostly japanese or dimsum. 128532Danish and breads were okay.
Overall, food were just okay

Good Food: lacks variety. Taste were so so
Great Service: line was kinda long. Courteous but not that quite attentive. But they sang a happy birthday song to my dad
Good Ambiance: nothing special but okay for a hotel
Value for money: was meh

Pahabol holiday fats this buffet brought but who am I to say no to free food, more so free buffet?

I'm not really the most sulit person to bring to a buffet because I easily get overwhelmed with the variety of food. So this time around, I tried to pace myself well by starting with the Cream of Broccoli soup, followed by Salad in Blue Cheese dressing which I topped with so many bacon bits! 128539 After which, it was a Japanese food overload for me. Tuna and Salmon sashimi, California Maki, tempura ohmgeee food heaven! I just recently watched the documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi so more so that I enjoyed my feast. 127843 (Foodies, you better see that docu) Went to a seafood section after and got baked mussels and oysters. It was also great that they were gracious enough to cook the steamed prawns and crabs with butter and garlic. Felt so special haha! 128077 Then I went on to try their cheese selection. I can't name names since I'm no connoisseur but I 10084️ cheese! In between all these I got to taste the lechon paksiw and sinampalukan. My last salvo was the chocolate truffles and pralines. And so i thought I wasn't a sulit buffet person?! Haha!

FOOD COMA after but gah! Sarap!
