I decided last minute to drop by Costa Coffee yesterday night. I've never been to a Philippine branch before. I've only tried in Singapore and I liked their coffee.

I got Green Tea Frostino (P165 for a primo size, the smallest). Same-ish price with Starbucks. Matcha flavor is just right but on the sweet side but not too sweet naman. I'd probably request to lessen the sugar a bit next time, if possible. Coz some uses matcha powder that's already mixed with sugar. I like that the consistency of blended ice is not as watery as how SB usually serves their frappuccino. Or at least the blended ice did not melt right away. Maybe because there weren't a lot of people and they can really make your drink as perfectly as possible. I can't know for sure.

What I know for sure is that the interiors scream British. The red telephone booth (that I don't see any purpose except for photo ops), the union jacks on upholstery, etc. Nice place to chill especially later in the evening.

This pulled pork sandwich is really really really good! Loved how tender and tasty the pork was, how it was overflowing with cheesy goodness and the bread was a bit toasted but still oh so soft. Unlike other coffee shop sandwiches, this is good and not overpriced. The belgian chocolate milkshake was good, as well. Not too sweet and really creamy and milky. 9786128077🏼

And the place is really cute and pretty. I loved every part of the place - especially the sofa and the telephone booth (but no telephone inside 128527). Plus, not that crowded and noisy as well. 128077🏼

Ohhh, they have wifi! Though, I'm not sure if they have a lot of power outlets. 128518128517

Best place to visit on a quiet Saturday morning. Enjoying my soy flat white and the best tasting BBQ Pulled Pork (on Parmesan Bread). What a pair! Free WIFI too! 128522128522128522

This is a culmination of my two visits here, once when i went here to meetup my former officemate while just recently we went here for a friends birthday treat.

This awesome looking coffee shop is located on a less noisy area of bgc wherein the surrounding area is still in the process of construction. But upon entering you will feel a cozy atmosphere the uk flag on their cozy chairs and a empty red phonebooth that greatly match the interiors.

Coffee and drinks comes in three sizes: namely minio1, medio and massimo.  Prices are the same as of coffee bean n tea leaf, starbucks and seatles but its really much quieter here.

Went here recently for a friends birthday treat, got myself greentea frostino at 185 and cookie for 70 bucks.  Greentea frostino is abit sweet and somewhat taste like starbucks greentea frapucinno but much more flavorful.  Cookie was just okay, its a biggie but for me its just worth around 50.

Another visit here was i ordered a flat white which i really like, i dont know what beans they use but with its bitter taste i really like it.  Also got myself one of their matcha cakes but i didnt much like it. 128522

Saturday and i decided just to do a day off and celebrate sister's birthday dinner. But then since i have quite a lot of time to kill, i decided to go here at costa 32nd street. This one is on the ground floor of a tall building and could be difficult to see. I parked at park triangle and have to walk a small distance from kidzania.

128204white flat (php150)
Not do strong. Toby's still got the best. As for the latte art, i prefer others'. They say its their best seller btw

128204 128525 beef pastrami sandwhich (php170)
The moment it was heated, the strong pastrami beef smell was in a way not welcoming, but since i was hungry, i ate it,... Then it was really good! Pastrami was so salty good and the pickles in it were making a refreshing taste! Compared to starbucks' sandwhiches, this is smaller but really tastier. Costa got a lot more sandwhich options.

128204 green tea latte over ice (php170)
Hmm... Good enough. I am accustomed to SB's more. This one's less milky. Comes in these sizes: pico, medio and massimo sizes.

128204 oreo cookie chesecake (php150)
Meh. Not liking their cheesecakes. It's somehow smooth in the mouth but the taste? Too creamy. It's big though

128204 peanut butter brownie (php90)
Loosely baked. Medio dried peanut swirls on top. Every thing else is chocolate. Sweet. Not even dark. Easily crumbles. Incomparable to a bucky.

Im not going back to costa branch anytime soon. This is tge reason i ordered so much today my next meal is dinner. They got a crappy internet (which the password is encoded at your receipt) my tattoo is actually faster.

I happen to sit on a rocky table, so rocky i could stomp and throw my plate on the next table 128514
Peak hours is now around 3pm. Not much people during lunch time.

Argh there's a fly!

Two Fridays ago, J and I headed here after strolling because we haven't tried Costa. We arrived at around 8:50 PM and there were still a lot of unoccupied tables.

I went to the counter to order a brownie and a flat white, after that, I was told that they have something to do and they had to close by 9:00 PM! Seriously? 128530🙄 I was quite disappointed cos they should've told us before ordering. The reason why we went here is for us to sit down and have this coffee & conversation sessions. 128532

Anyway, since our order was punched already, we had to take out everything. They gave us a voucher for free cookie though, but J didn't avail it. We don't want to stroll around BGC carrying a lot of goodies.

Their flat white is okay, but I didn't like their brownie. J's drink (I forgot, but it's choco something) was too sweet for my liking.

No photo cos it wasn't attractive at all and it was dark outside. The good thing about it, well we consumed our orders outside, under the stars. HAHAHA 128540128514

We still want to try Costa and feel their London vibes, so we'll be coming back. This time, I'll give only 3 stars. 1285229749

This is my first review for the year, a little break from reviewing though i think i tried alot of new restos during the holiday. Moving on... Costa coffee, i heard theres promo on going till tomorrow so i head over to try out, im not sure if i misread their mechanic but i i though that you need to purchase any drinks then have the 2 frostino at P5 for either popcorn or caramel chocolate. Lo and behold i have to purchase my 1st drink either of the 2 and get the 2nd drink at P5 between any of the 2. 128545

Anyways, those 2 frostino are their holiday drinks.

I think their frostino are too sweet, cant taste the coffee. While my officemate think that their hot drinks are good especially the mocha and flat white but so far my 1st experience with costa was just okay. 128528

When we went to this coffee place at past 2pm, there were only a few people hanging out. The place is very cozy, and the staffs are accommodating. They have the iconic red telephone booth of London to top off the London vibes. They have unique holiday offering. I actually liked their popcorn frap with real popcorn on top. It gives you a surprise on every sip. But with the a London base coffee shop, one cannot miss their flat white. With a stick or 2 of sugar, it gave me the kind of bitter tanginess after the sip. The coffee isn't too bitter but refined. They serve their flat white on the usual size which is the smallest one.

I'd say this place is perfect for an afternoon catch up or an alone time to study, read, or just me time. 128521

There was a some sort of a hype when Costa reached the Philippines shore, and I wasn't familiar with it so I didn't have to ride the bandwagon, not that I would, but yeah I would, because I'm bias when it comes to coffee.

Anyway, I wasn't able to try it right away because the first branch is in Eastwood and it's too far away from me. When I heard that another branch in BGC opened, then I knew it was time for Costa and I to finally meet.

It doesn't have any problem giving a first good impression because the interior is quite lovely. I especially loved the phone booth, I mean where did you see a coffee shop with a phone booth? Well I've only seen one here.

I ordered flat white because according to reviews, it's their best drink. It was rich and creamy, bitingly bitter and sweet just a wee bit. It was really good, but to compare it with the flat white of Toby's Estate, TB does it better.

But I like the ambiance oh so much. If I were living around BGC area I'd probaly be at Costa every weekend.

Best for HOHOL. Quiet and away from the maddening crowd is this newest branch of Costa coffee at the BGC. Got to enjoy this post Halloween goodies with some mocha frostino, the creamiest, shake like drink I've had until now. 128522

Finally, Costa Coffe has arrived in BGC. Been wanting to try this since they opened their first branches, (you know, to be part of the bandwagon and be conyo and stuff. Haha) but they were kinda far. So luckily, they opened a branch much closer to me!

Paid a visit on their opening day after shift earlier this noon. Wasn't expecting that we'll still get the free Mocha Cream Frostino since it was past 12 already, but luckily we still did! In return we had to order in a British accent though. 128514128514128514128514128514

I loved the color accents of the place. I really like the maroonish red. There were British designs everywhere from Big Ben to the iconic telephone booths. Really nice.

Together with my free Frostino, I ordered a butter croissant. I had high expectations as I know brits are particular with their croissants. And I love croissants. I wasn't disappointed at all. Very soft and buttery. The waiter says that all their bread and pastries are baked in the morning, and it wont just sit on the display all day as they bake new batches during the afternoon too!

The Frostino though was very sweet for my taste. Kinda itchy on the throat actually. But it was free. So no complaining. Haha.

The place is located in a way that it won't get crowded or jampacked. It's kinda isolated at the One World Place bldg in 32nd ave.

I just wished they'd turn down the music though. Had a harx time hearing my friends.

Oh and did I forget to say Free Wifi? Let's hope its not just because it's opening day...
