Popular take away food this Christmas is pansit malabon. You can bring a bilao to a party or home for a no fuss dinner. That was exactly my mom's intent the other night, to drop by and order a bilao of pansit and a box of their fried lumpiang ubod for dinner.

She entered the store and noticed there was no customers in the store. She placed her order and began to wait. What was supposed to be a 10 minute wait turned into 40 minutes! Turns out there were 4 orders ahead of hers and the kitchen was moving as fast as they could to make 'em.

The pansit malabon didn't taste as good as before. The noodles itself were a bit hard. The lumpiang ubod was terribly salty. Ick!

Guess the sudden rush if people brought the quality of the food down a notch. Very disappointing 128542

I jump for joy whenever I see a bilao of their pansit malabon from Country Noodles. A family favorite, it is hands down the best pansit malabon IMHO.

They also have a mean fried lumpiang ubod.
