Good customer service.

The rib eye steak was quite disappointing.

The Mac and cheese was okay.

The place was empty for Friday lunch (odd), but ambiance of the place was nice. Accessible too, just along Jupiter Street. They have good food options and price range is reasonable. Would definitely visit again. 128516

I'll be honest. I came here thinking the prices were around the same as Brickfire's, but I was mistaken. I don't know why I thought that in the first place exactly, but seeing it from the outside after dining at Sampgyupsalamat once, I thought they would cost as much. They're definitely not premium steakhouse expensive though (Php 2500 and above), but their signature steaks (US Black Angus Steaks) fall between Php 900 to Php 1,200, which still comes as a shocker to those still living on student budgets.

Ramon L and I ordered the Chili Cheese Fries (Php 180) and the Hickory Baby Back Ribs (Half Slab, Php 450) first as I pondered about whether I wanted to have salmon or steak. After half an hour later, I decided to add the Steak and Chips (Php 390) just to get a sample of their steak at the least.

First off, fries overload, I know. The ribs and the steak already came with fries, but yes we had to get the Chili Cheese Fries. I'm happy to know that each batch is prepared fresh as it is served hot and crisp each time. Loved the fries, although I did think two servings of fries were too much already, so when I ordered the steak, I did try to ask if I could swap the fries with a different side, but I wasn't allowed to. Apparently you can only choose the side if you order their steaks. Otherwise, it's a bundle deal, and it's usually the fries. Still, can't complain much as I did enjoy the quality of the fries. The chili cheese was good; only mildly spicy but generous in topping. When the ribs came, Ramon and I were able to toss in some more fries in the chili cheese sauce!

The Baby Back Ribs were soft and fall-of-the-bone, albeit a little too sweet for my taste. I was contemplating if I should call the waiter to have the cob shredded, but I found out that it was just half a corn which was further split into two, so it's actually just very small and not difficult to eat. Glad that the salted fries balanced the flavor of the ribs.

I was a little disappointed when the steak came, because it was so pounded that it looked like somebody chewed on it and then spat it back out. The steak was a cheap hanger steak served with chimichurri sauce. I don't know much about how this should be served, but it seemed unevenly cooked to me, with one end being tough to chew and well done, and the other end being tough to chew and rare to medium rare. I don't know if it's supposed to be served that way, but I didn't like it. For the record, I ate the ~rare~ part and I couldn't tear into it no matter how much I tried to chew it. I didn't like the steak, but I did like the zest from the chimichurri sauce. Thank God that and the salted fries saved this dish.

The bill totaled to nearly Php 1,200, which I don't think is worth it for what we had. I don't exactly know if I'm coming back, but if I do, I'll try to mentally prepare myself for what should be a delicious steak (at least based off what I've read). Otherwise, I don't think I can recommend this place for anything other than their fries.

After a relaxing massage, my friends and I got really hungry! We decided to give Cow Bell a try 128522 the place looks laid back and I really can't wait to try their dishes. I had their clam chowder soup, which was a little bit salty 128530

However, their steak&chips and 3 pcs chicken dishes were quite a winner. Serving size was the main problem 128563

Regardless, I am willing to come back and try more!

We really could not forget the ribeye steak we had last time so we went back and took the in-laws to check out this place and their good food.

We had the ribeye steak and the striploin steak this time. I really could not tell the difference between the two, although ribeye has more fat, and striploin is leaner but basically, they are almost alike--although for me, ribeye's better because of the fat! 128077128077128077

We were able to try the southern fried chicken, the chicken was crispy and juicy. It came with a corn on the cob on the side. Perfect combo 128076

One of our favorite dish from last time we were here was the mac and cheese with truffle oil so we ordered it again. You could never go wrong with truffle oil. This is my favorite thing from the menu, well next to their steaks of course.

We had a wonderful time, we'll definitely be back here again real soon.

Ordered the half slab of ribs, with the southern fried chicken!

Ribs were tender, moist yet decent that it doesn't shred too much! It was good!

The southern fried chicken was a good order too given that the batter was tasty and fried just right.

Other than those too, the specialty would be the steaks but only the large cute were left when we were there so didn't get to try them.

Order the potato skins too!

This new resto just beefed up the lineup of restos along Jupiter St.

We went here for dinner last night to try their steaks and the travel all the way from QC is soooo worth it! They serve very tender, tasty and juicy steaks, you'll definitely be asking for more. We ordered an 8oz angus striploin, that was served in a wooden chopping board with the resto's name engraved on it (in photo), which we find so cool. I am drooling just thinking about it. My friend had the Black Angus Ribeye, and it was heavenly delicious. I will be ordering this on my next visit.

We also ordered Mac and Cheese with Truffle oil for my daughter and she enjoyed it! We also had the grilled cheese sandwich, it came with a pesto sauce on the side, it was really good.

We'll definitely be back to try the other mouthwatering items on their menu. 128516128521128516

New place along Jupiter, and they have some pretty awesome dishes! Loved the interiors too and the chalk art on the walls 128522

Steak is their main specialty, and I must say, they're tender and juicy. They don't serve it with any gravy (the steak is tasty enough, you won't need any), but if you want some extra kick, you can ask the server for steak sauce 128046128522

The thing I love most about their steak is that for the price, you get really decent beef. Not the tough kind with lots of chewy inedible portions. They have a variety to choose from too - ribeye, striploin, tenderloin, etc that can be cooked to your liking.

They've got loads of other dishes too, will write about them next time so I can include a photo 128522

Some other must try's (and I mean, MUST TRY!):
> chili cheese fries (if you love chili, you cannot miss this)
> baby back ribs (I know they're a steak cafe but believe me, they make some really wicked ribs!)128055
> fried chicken (loved by both kids and adults)

Looking forward to try some of their other dishes next time. Will definitely be posting more about this place soon! 128077128077128077
