128205 Cowrie Island (4/4)

Last stop, lunch time!!! We availed their buffet meal for only 200. It was a complete meal, they had noodles, rice, chicken, pork, fish, vegetable and dessert.

Since this was our last island, we made sure we make the most of our last snorkeling. The water was very clear in this area! The sand was pretty white. We saw a lot of Nemo (clownfish) in here 128025

Nice beach not too far from Honda Bay Pier. Has some food areas, showers, toilets, and lots of space. Definitely not Coron or El Nido, but great for families or larger groups.

For our last stop on our Honda Bay island hopping tour was at Cowrie island. According to our tour guide that it was the best island of all them. This is our last stop and this is where will have our buffet lunch.

It was so hot when we got there so don't forget to apply sunblock. We proceed immediately to the buffet table as it was a late lunch already. We're so hungry and patay gutum mode ako 128518127860 the food was so good at naka two rounds ako, drinks included and deserts also.

After we had lunch we tested on our cottage then kids were busy doing sand castle while hubby and I are enjoying the view seating at the middle of the beach and having a good conversation. We had enough time staying here. After that we decided to swim.

We really had fun on those 3 islands and we're ready to go back to the wharf. An experience you will never forget especially if these is your first time for island hopping and Palawan really has beautiful islands128525128077

So happy to meet a new friend who brought us here. We were served a large lapu lapu for just the 4 of us and a really good mango shake aside from the lunch buffet. 128522

There are lots of starfishes in the area. Want to take photos of them but we were told to bring them back to the water within 5 minutes or they will die. Awww.

You can do snorkeling, banana boat, and jetski. My friends and I did an hour of jetski. Ahhh. 128513 I was a big scared t first but it was fun!

Cowrie Island is part of the Honda Bay island hopping tour in Puerto Princesa. You can go swimming in this island and take some pictures with the colorful island sign.

The island offers a buffet lunch for 200 pesos, nothing is extraordinary with the dishes. Their crispy kangkong is really good.

I was told that Cowrie Island is one of the bests to go. I asked the boatman to take me there first. I only stayed there for 30 seconds and left. The water is not the clean because it's near mainland.

We came to Palawan without having any itinerary. Good thing De Loro tours welcomed us in the Airport and Planned our 4 day trip there. On the first day, we went to honda bay. Tour price was about 1400php(inclusive of transpo, food, and snorkeling items). We went to 3 islands(Pandan, Starfish, and Cowrie). Cowrie was more of my idea of relaxation where I can enjoy the heat of the sun and the cold water.

This was our last stop during our Honda Bay tour... I liked exploring the back of the island... There's a shipwreck on the shore that you can climb and take pics as a background... The comedic potential was maximized!

They also sell halo-halo, shakes, mais con yelo, but the service was so slow!!! Feeling mo pinapatubo pa yung fruits sa tagal!

No picture, because our only pics was the ones we took on the boat... Non-family members shouldn't see that!128540 but they do have a huge sign saying Cowrie Island in front! Perfect for the obligatory souvenir pic!128077

Wished we were served fresh seafood. We got fried kangkong, fried tambakol (local tuna), fried squid, pork adobo. Food was decent. Got hungry from island hopping and snorkeling.

This was the first island we visited and we were the only tourists here. Solo mode! Yey!128131127796127946127796

It's just a 10-minute boat ride from the honda bay port. Cowrie island was named after the group of small to large sea snails. 128026 The island have cabanas/cottages, volleyball court and frisbee which is all free to use. It also have a small bar & buffet restaurant. Just across the resto is a small massage area in cabanas.

We stayed for an hour here and we really enjoyed the crystal clear water doing swimming and snorkeling (though there's only few fishes here :p) the white sand and the panoramic view of mountains and other islands. It is just very relaxing to be here. Wonderful experience!128077
