I can't remember the times I visited this resto. If you are looking for value for money and great food and especially you love Japanese food, this is the place to be.

I always order Chicken Katsu and sprinkle it with chili powder - the best!

I was invited by kelly to have lunch in this place she said it was recommended by her friend. We tried three variety of meal we had pork tonkatsu, chicken tonkatsu their best seller and I also tried their Fish and Veggie tempura. We enjoyed our tonkatsu it was delicious, had a big serving and budget friendly but I was dissapointed with the tempura it was too oily and didn't taste so well but still we enjoyed our lunch after our tiring workout. I want to commend also their fast service and the staff are very accomodating.

I've been here only a few times but I have to say this was recommended to me by a couple of people and told me it was good so I went here with my girlfriend to eat here and not really surprised its good and decent. I had the chicken Katsu and it tastes good, not to make me jump over my chair but good enough. The prices were decent and even cheaper before and very affordable. I've heard stories of people from my girflriends batch eating here all the time because of the decent portions and price. I actually agree with them now after eating here like twice or so. The place is quite small and there's another floor upstairs, at the level below seems quite small and the stairs going up is quite narrow and small too. I just remember kinda getting too close in contact with the staff going through passing through. But one instance i had with Sandra got us, we ordered another Katsu and they delivered it even if it took quite a while, apparently there was hair on the food and we asked if it could be replaced because usually here in this setting they don't really honor that and would have to request for a manager to approve but the waitress was kind enough to replace it no questions asked as how it should really be when it comes to food and hotel business, so we deeply appreciated that gesture for them honoring that for us as we got a new replacement and was eaten well but not all because i was too full to actually consume it. If you're looking for a cheap katsu joint thats decent and just around, Crazy Katsu is the name, would love to come back here anytime if i'm craving Katsu at all!

OMG!!! This place is so awesome! My boyfriend and I weren't able to talk/bond while eating because we were so focused on our food! Hahahaha!

We ordered chicken Katsu and tonkatsu :) For spicy lovers out there, try their chicken Katsu! It's their best seller. The tonkatsu is to die for! It was perfectly cooked. And yeah, we order an extra rice. Hahaha.

Value for money! Super affordable! The Katsu price ranges from 150-160 pesos lang!

Katsu Crazy Sunday!

We had no plans of eating around the area since we were supposed to eat at our friend's house but everyone was late and we were all starving so we decided to have a little early dinner lol we arrived at around 630pm and we were the only ones at the restaurant. Haha.

I had Fish and Vegetable Tempura. My friends had the Tonkatsu, Katsudon and Curry. The Curry caught my attention since the sauce was overflowing hahaha. The Tempura was good. I had only a piece of the Fish Tempura kasi nalansahan ako :( probably it's just me since I'm picky when it comes to fish. The Vegetable Tempura was Okra and Eggplant which made me very very very happy. Haha.

Giving it 3/5 since I didn't really love it. It was just okay for me. Sulit for the 150 pesos though :)

Many apologies for having so many backlogs1285319996🏼

Get together with my college buddies here 127891

I read |oo|oo reviews prior to dining here (thanks reviewers!128521) that's why I already knew what I'm gonna order.

What I did order was their best seller (according to the reviewers) Chicken Katsu without chillies and the spicy sauce separately.97869786
My friends orederd the same but they didn't requested to separate the spicy sauce & also a gyoza.

So digging into my chicken katsu I knew I did a good decision separating the sauce because my friends complain about its super spicyness and that chicken become soggy with the sauce in it.

The chicken dipped in the sauce was tasty but except for its spiciness--nothing's special special. But the good thing was the price which was so affordable doesn't compromise with the quality and quantity so its a plus for me!128076🏼128076🏼

While on the Gyoza I'm sorry its a miss! I can make better gyoza than their version. I can't taste its gyoza-ness.128531

On the over-all with the place food, service, etc ill give it a 4.

A family friend was with us the day we visited BF homes last month. She was too excited to have lunch here in this Jap resto. She kept saying masarap, mura at siguradong magugustuhan nyo. 128521

So kami naman (with hubby) wow okay, ang cute ng place, maliit like a typocal jap place and mukhang masarap...puno ng tao. 128077🏼

So while ordering, i was reading the newspaper column in a frame sa wall beside our table...their history, owner's picture etc. hahaha, diko pinansin ang picture, kilala pala namin!

Before our orders arrived, someone came in, and hubby greeted him! Well, he's one of the owners pala and happens to be one of hubby's barkada in BF. 128516

He sent us the best seller Chicken Katsu, na hindi namin inorder so sakto Free! Hallelujah! 128525
In fairness, masarap!!! Crunchy, spicy and tender!
We also had Tempura, Gyoza, and Pork Tonkatsu which is my order, i'd say i love it, period! 128525

They use authentic Japanese spices, Japanese Mayo and Kikkoman! 128077128077128077

Ruth D the bottom pic is the Chicken Katsu! Say it isn't the same as yours. 128521

One saturday noon while driving along Aguirre Ave., Anthony and I decided to have lunch here. Crazy Katsu is a good place if you're on a budget since everythings' around 120-200 pesos only. I've already tried Crazy Katsu in Taft back in college and liked it for it's student friendly prices 128521

We ordered Katsudon, Fish & Vegetable Tempura and Chicken Katsu Salad.

Katsudon was uhm, okay. The meat was tender but lacked flavor. The egg + sauce somehow gave flavor but was just not enough. More sauce, please? 128513

Chicken Katsu Salad was good. The chicken was tasty and not too salty. Loved that it was not only just greens but there were also a lot of cucumber!! Plus carrots and egg! 128513 It would have only been better if the dressing was separated or was not that too much that the greens were almost drowning already. 128521

We also tried the Iced Coffee which was just like an iced nescafe. 128527

Service was good, though. The servers were all helpful and very friendly. 128077

Crazy Katsu has been teasing me each time I pass by it's area in Aguirre Ave. Since I'm not so much of a fan of Katsu, I was able to brush it off each time together with the urging of the husband. But the inevitable day came - husband parked the car in front of Crazy Katsu without asking me if I wanted to eat there 128518

So it happened. Crazy Katsu for lunch. Their space was small but with ample space to move about. Their menu was simple. We got their Katsudon and Curry Rice. The Katsudon was good but could have been better if they added more sauce. But I have to admit that the meat was soft and juicy, with a little crisp coming from the breading. Serving was no YABU size but you have to be forgiving coz they're very affordable! Most expensive dish at 190Php and the Katsudon was just for 150Php #tipidhits indeed!

The Curry Rice was great too. Generous serving of Japanese curry, soft Japanese Rice and Katsu. Then we also got their Fish and Vegetable Tempura set for Cherienne. Crunchy and tasty, best when dipped into their tempura sauce.

For dessert, we tried their Coffee Pudding. Just okay. Leche Flan that was less creamy and milky, flavored with coffee. Nothing special.

Nothing was really extra ordinary with their food but with their price range and customer service, it's surely one of those places that you will come back for more.

Will try their best sellers next time 128521

Had late lunch at Crazy Katsu in BF today, just to prove my Brother & Foodie Friends wrong about their opinions of this place. Unfortunately, I just proved them right.

We had our usual orders whenever we eat at Katsu places: Katsudon, Gyoza, and Katsu Curry.

First off, the Katsu Curry was drowning in Curry that I had to "fish out" the 3 measly slices of Katsu and rice from the plate. I like my katsu crispy, and it was, but it loses crisp when you leave it swimming in sauce. The curry taste was ok, but a bit too watery for me.

The Katsudon was lacking in taste... It was bland. We added loads of chili powder and Japanese Mayo, just to make it more palatable. And the usual dashi stock that serves as "sabaw" for the rice? Nonexistent. Well, there was the Curry to remedy that, but that's no longer a Katsudon dish.

Finally, the Gyoza. *Sigh* I'm a sucker for all types of dumplings. Japanese, Chinese, Korean or Italian... i love them all. But this time around, Gyoza made me so disappointed. Yes, Gyoza is typically made up of shredded Cabbage, Pork and other vegetables thatt adds taste and texture to the dumpling. Unfortunately, the batch we got was all cabbage! Not even the slightest taste of ginger or sesame oil or pork! Only bland, bland cabbage that couldn't even be salvaged by their Gyoza sauce.

Like what they said, you get what you paid for. But this time around I feel like I was short-changed.

I have no complaints about the service, though. The servers were attentive and quick on their feet. This is the only thing that kept me from giving Crazy Katsu a 1-star rating.

I went to have lunch here with my highschool bestfriends. We all ordered their Chicken Katsu as recommended by their service crew. Taste was okay, but I noticed that the chicken wasn't cooked well. I was disgusted so I didn't finish it. The only thing I enjoyed was their Iced Coffee.
