Crazy Katsu is my default choice in Lilac.  I'd always pick Chicken Katsu no matter what happens.   I adore this dish.  I get high on dopamine everytime we dine here.

There is something mystical about the simplicity of the dish.  I always feel giddy after my meal.

I ordered Tonkatsu. The serving was big. One cup of rice would not suffice. We just have to order another one. Still, in the end, we took home some that was left. :D

Upon arriving Lilac St., my friend insisted that we eat here, I'm not really a fan of Japanese cuisine I just trusted him and went with it since he had already dined in here before and told me that they serve really great food. The reasonably priced katsu tasted really okay, it was really tender plus the mayo and soy sauce made it more savy. But it wasn't that really special though I enjoyed the whole experience! We were so famished that se didn't had the chance to take pictures lol

I. Am. A. Forever. Fan. Of. Crazy. Katsu's. Chicken. Katsu.

Spicy, savory, salty and a lil bit crazy. I rest my case.

I absolutely love this place. My partner loves this spicy chicken katsu. I ordered katsudon and it was delicious. Definitely will come back. And the foods were at an affordable price. 128512

After the horrible migraine attack this morning, i was craving for massive amounts of rice. I was raised by a woman who firmly believes that one can't survive without eating rice. I remember turning into a green-eyed monster during grade school when i see take a peek into my classmates lunchbox. Theirs is filled with chips and chocolates , mine was always rice and fried chicken or any other viand Grams makes. Hence I always crave for a decent rice meal every now and then.

I've been to Krazy x number of times and they always deliver. Food is always good. I got myself the regular, aka Chicken Katsu. Breaded chicken fillet, shredded cabbage topped with labuyo and onion stalks. The chicken is done well as always. The soy sauce concoction they have is best paired with Japanese mayonnaise. The flavor works well, a lil salty, spicy (due to the sliced labuyo), a lil tangy. I swear it makes you eat more rice. You get all of that for less than php 200.

The fish and veggie tempura is good too, best paired with the soy sauce dip thingy they have. These babies are fried to perfection, crispy, crunchy and tasty. I dunno but i think they seasoned the batter with something.

Krazy offers good food at a reasonable price. A meal for less than php 200 aint bad. I'll take that deal any time of day, baby.

Crew is kind and meals are affordable. Definitely your one-stop Japanese resto. I like the fact that they only have very few choices of dishes, too. It kind of gives them more room to innovate one or all.

Tried ordering their chicken katsudon and my boyfriend had pork ginger. The chicken was cooked nice. Albeit it wasn't really clicking with my palette. So I chose to switch meals wit my boyfriend instead. The spicy kick of the sauce though was a hit and I loved it.

So I went on with pork ginger and I must say that IT IS PERFECT. Tender, not too sweet yet not too salty, and ginger-y but not too powerful-ginger-y.

late night dinner at lilac street marikina yesterday with the boyps. good thing most lilac restos closes at midnight.

we were just driving and looking for a place to have dinner and then i saw crazy katsu still open and half full. we immediately went in since it was already 10:30 pm.

servers were accommodating. they were all smiles and friendly. service water was immediately delivered at our table. chicken katsu and the katsu with salad was served after 5 min. chicken was fried perfectly. actually both dishes are almost the same. chicken, sauce except the lettuce, egg, cucumber and carrots was in the salad of course and the katsu had the bed of shredded cabbage.

chicken was tender and fried to perfection. the katsu was spicy coz of those chillies. the sauce countered the umay factor of the chicken.

the bf was happy with his dinner. crazy katsu offers great tasting, perfectly fried katsu with a cheap price tag. i guess one of the better ones within it's price range.

It's an okay japanese food hub for me. For the price i think it's really good, i'm not just crazy over their miso 128513. The place is nice, but the restroom should be upgraded 128513. Oh, and i like the pieces of wood scrap used in making their wall art 128588.

I live nearby but I only got a chance recently to try this! Honestly, I was satisfied of the taste and serving 128516 I'm in the moment of dieting so I went for their katsu salad and it didn't fail me. I am recommending this place if you're looking for mediocre priced jap food 128077

Must try is their Chicken Katsu. It somewhat reminds me of Hot Star's chicken chop only the chicken is presented (ig worthy) on a plate with shredded cabbage and chili. It goes well with their (non-Japanese) rice. We also had the sukiyaki (mildly sweet) and pork ginger but I really liked the katsu options. Staff is accomodating and it would not hurt if they say irrashaimase given the japanese schtick, might be cheesy but kitsch works.

I don't know how many times I've been here but every time I crave for something Japanese, Crazy Katsu is the first thing that pops into my head.

Love its plain and simple ambiance, the place is not crowded and it's well-ventilated. Plus the food is very affordable and yummy not to mention their generous serving, super sulit! They have limited variety of food tho but you'll surely leave the place with a happy tummy! 128522

Great service, btw! 128077128077

Been craving for Katsudon for sometime now and like what I have mentioned on my other post, I was quite disappointed with the other resto I tried. This time around I made sure to check out the reviews for this place before trying it. A lot if good things were said about the place so we went ahead and tried it. They were right, the food was good. The meat is tender, flavorful and not dry. The price was affordable, the place was cute and the people were very accommodating. 128516

Wait! Dont miss out on their chicken katsu! This P145 meal is one of their best sellers, and I know why it became one. The taste of their chicken katsu stands above the rest considering its price range. Try to add their mayo sauce on your chicken katsu for the additional twist.

May I also recommend their iced coffee, its one of their best sellers as well. 128513

Be crazy with Crazy Katsu LOL
