Ordered Katsudon and it was good for its price 128077🏻 This place has been my go to place for katsu cravings. Their chicken katsu is also good!! But noticed their gyoza is not so good compared before.

Lunchie at my favorite place again. Tonkatsu is nothing but ordinary yet is better than what I ordered the Gish and Vegetable Tempura. Really annoyed me that there were only 2 slices of fish and the vegetables are plenty than the fish.

My brother visited us here in Metro Manila so my sister and I decided to meet him at Trinoma. It was so crowded on a Saturday morning and we had a hard time finding a place to eat so we just decided to go to Maginhawa.

We asked the cab to stop at the first place we saw - Crazy Katsu. Hahaha. We were asked to wait for around 5 minutes to get seated.

I ordered the Katsu Curry. It was OK. Nothing special about the food. Everything is very affordable though. 128077

Eating in this place always brings college nostalgia. My personal favorite is the Katsu curry. Vibe and price make this place a great pick up dinner spot. Hope they can have more dishes if ever :)

Finally got to try this place last week after numerous "next time" to myself. LOL 128513

Hmmm.. A little disappointed as my hopes were high due to this place's rating. 128528

What we ordered:
Katsudon
Gyoza
Chicken Katsu

The servers were attentive though and our food didn't take long for them to serve it.

I might give this place another try 'cause I haven't tried their Katsu Curry yet. We'll see by then.

My friends literally go crazy with their Chicken Katsu! They kept on raving this place like in every food-related conversations we had or whenever we're talking about some great places to try in Maginhawa. The curiosity slayed the cat in me and decided to give it a try even on a busy Friday night!

You might already know that Crazy Katsu has several branches but I visited the Maginhawa branch since it's much nearer from my workplace (Eastwood). So I braved the rush hour traffic and went here together with a friend who was also becoming the brand ambassador of their food.

The place was packed when we arrived. We waited for about 5 minutes to get a seat. The place looks very simple and minimal but not too empty, imo.

Tried the Chicken Katsu and boy, it's just too good to be true! Big and tender chicken katsu on top of the shredded cabbage and drenched with their special sauce. I asked the server to not remove the chilis and it was the best decision...ever! Put a little mayo on top of the chicken and you'll surely loooove it even more!!!

I guess I'll understand now why my friends literally went crazy with their katsu, because it's just so good! This is definitely the best place to get your katsu fix! Aside from being delicious and filling, it's also affordable too!

Seeing the Crazy Katsu signage from the outside, I was automatically excited to eat. I've read a lot of good reviews about their Chicken Katsu. No doubt in my mind that that particular dish would be my order. When entering, I enjoyed the simplistic set-up of Japanese-style furnishings. There was nothing fancy. The colors inside the establishment somehow whet my appetite even more. I believe they studied the psychology of color and food, and how they interact with the consumer. (hahaha)

The Chicken Katsu was awesome! I enjoyed how light the dish was, but yet left me full. Golden brown breaded chicken that was crunchy on the outside, yet soft and moist on the inside. The execution of the Katsu was done perfectly. It went well with the light soy and the shredded cabbage.

Crazy Katsu, aside from great Katsu, the people who work in this particular branch were very friendly. Kudos!

Happy Eating!!!

Oh my gosh their chicken katsu. It's so good I'm craving for it again!!! Hahaha. It's crunchy and meaty and spicy and salty at the same time. Definitely the best thing to order here.

We also had a tonkatsu and gyoza which are just okay. The pork ginger is good if you want an alternative on the chicken 128568

A must-try place here in Maginhawa haven! 128514 I've been here twice already and not thinking twice of coming back. I am a big fan of Katsu! So being here made me Crazy! Hahahaha! 128514 So anyway, this is very affordable considering other Katsu restos here in the Metro. No regrets and you will leave here tummy full! I also ordered gyoza that personally loved and the iced tea here is good as well. My friend didn't liked the iced coffe because as per her, it tasted like 3 in 1. But all in all, this is a good place to dig in!

I tried their best seller chicken katsu and their iced coffee. I like the tenderness of the chicken, the sweet tangy sauce and the mix of their coffee. It's a good food128076🏻128076🏻

But I think the ambience is not really cool, I mean yes I can sense the japanese style but they can do better than that. And mind you, the signal inside is no good, you might receive text messages but your data will be a slowpoke.

The price is worth the taste.. #foodtrails

Read alot of reviews about Crazy Katsu almost all of it was good so I have it a try. The service was good, the staff was accomodating and smiling all the time, the place was plain and the food was ok. I'm a fan of a tonkatsu and I find it so plain.. nothing unique.. but their chicken katsudon was a bit good. It's not so good but not bad at all.

I ordered their best selling Chicken Katsu which comes with a cup of rice all for 155 pesos. I also ordered my favorite miso soup for 30 pesos.

The chicken was tender! And the sauce was a welcome change from the usually sweet version from Katsu places since theirs is sour, sweet and a hint of spicy all at the same time. You can even top it with the mayo and it still tastes good! I love it! 128523128523

Verdict: my Go-to instant curry fix

I only eat one thing here. Their Katsu Curry meal as seen in the photo.

I love the spicy taste and the abundance of curry sauce, rice, potatoes and carrots. The breaded pork katsu is okay and can still be improved but hiw can you complain with the price being 195php before then now i think 210php?
Compaired to yabu etc. At 350php up

Sulit to, nakakabusog. Cant say much about the rest.
